You need cameras on yourself at all times that she is in the same space as you. I didn't really believe the stories or that it could happen to me and that cost me a day in the county jail and $10,000 for a criminal attorney.

My stbx named her wifi at her new place 'peacefulretreat'. I can guarantee you- if a place has her in it, it ain't peaceful.

There's zero you can do and all you can hope for is that she sticks to her guns on not having kids. In 10-15 years you'll find out all the even worse ways his codependency manifested with her when she leaves him for her next victim.

If you actually get her to agree to 50/50 then just calculate yours, then hers, then subtract the lower amount from the higher and whoever has the higher pays that amount.

It depends on how y'all agree to split possession. If you agree to or end up having to accept the standard possession order for non custodial parent then just go find a calculator anywhere online it is based only on your income not hers.

If midlife crisis was a reddit post. Do whatever man but throwing away your marriage when you are pretty clearly not in a good head space for decision making is not a great idea..

Damn man... the "why is the world like this to me?!" just hit me hard. So many times when in my head I knew the "world" was reacting appropriately to her crazy but the words coming out of my mouth were reassurances to her that she was misunderstood. Codependence is a HELL of a drug.

So far it's as if I never existed. Add it to the list of things I find hard to believe about this shit show but have no control of.

Is financial abuse a term from tiktok or what? Are they all getting a copy of the same playbook? What does it even mean?

Ten years from now glp1s are going to have to carry a surgeon generals warning for causing some kind of brain disorder.

My stbx said basically that and worse except she said it to me as I was boarding a plane to try and see my mom before she died in hospice. I didnt make it in time. This was the end cap to 15 years of progressive attempts at turning me against my mom and my siblings. My mom was far from perfect and in fact my relationship her was never great even without my wife but I still found it hard to believe the lows the stbx sank to.

Personality disorder.

Whatever you do do not underestimate how low she'll go. You've seen a lot of crazy bad shit but trust me it can and will get even worse. You need to get a camera to wear or set up in the house - she will absolutely accuse you of domestic violence and you'll be arrested and put in jail. I read stories here and thought wow that's crazy but it can't happen to me. It happened to me. I also have been saying pmdd for fifteen years. Now I think it's also a personality disorder as well. Be safe.

Crazy how similar so many stories are here. My stbxw is in the stage of saying all the exact same things yours did about how that's the last thing on her mind and she'll likely never trust a man again etc., but I know the shoe is going to drop it's just a matter of when not if. Preparing myself mentally for it now.

You need to still have every Thursday overnight with this. I'm in a similar situation in the most liberal county in Texas and my very expensive lawyer told me without mom agreeing to it the court would never order 50/50 no matter how involved a dad I've always been. So keep that in mind - your only alternative here would be getting the standard possession schedule which is Thursdays and every other weekend.

I haven't found any proof of cheating but I wouldn't be at all surprised. Has been taking one of these Ozempic like drugs for a couple of years. She has so many other huge red flags going on like ADHD, perimenopause, always had insane hormone issues even before the perimenopause ratcheted it up, started HRT a few months before filing. Because of all of that I never thought to question the Ozempic. I admit I've never really looked at what it did until just now. "Acts on the brain's hypothalamus..…

She's playing you. I'm guessing she is opposed to equal possession and that's why you are on the SPO? She is having her cake and eating it too because you're allowing it. If she can't handle the SPO you need to document that and fight for 50/50 so you aren't just paying her full support while she uses you for free child care.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
