"how does my dick taste?" or "does she still have that yeast infection?" are what comes to my mind, but outclassing is always better as you showed.

If you need a distraction, there's a bilateral stream of pixels out there waiting to suck you in. I use FB when I am taking a shit. I think you need a meaningful hobby or a new career. You need to have something to think about. Develop something, invent something, improve something. Relying on Facebook for entertainment makes you a consumer... nearly a parasite. Think about this: 100% of the shit posted on there is for attention. Every word. Ask yourself, why are you giving your precious time an…

Your friend is trying to lower you down to his level. I'd say the next time someone says something like that just exhale/laugh once and move on. If they continue you can either remind them how many people you killed for their freedom, or suggest that the past is nothing more than electricity stored in their brain cells. My opinion, cause I was a wuss as a kid but that person has not existed in 10+ years.

I tried to fix a dead marriage and got myself Divorce raped because I suddenly learned the word No and grew a set. I could have passively walked away but I set off her inner narcissist. Rocky fucking road man, 2 years later I'm still paying her but legally able to laugh in her face. Life is fucking awesome. Holy shit it sucked for about a year... but I repeat life is fucking awesome.

(from personal experience) You'll drive yourself crazy analyzing everyone, what they want, who they are, who they are pretending to be, what box they fit into in your life... People are fucked, each one more than the last. Take everyone for who they are, DGAF and those who are attracted to you will have the option of being your friend. I value solitude. People annoy the shit out of me. Edit: I will also add that I have plenty of "friends" and am well liked and well known, but when it comes time …

I like it, but it has never fit my lifestyle. I'm in a routine: work, eat, work, eat, lift, eat, date / explore new ideas and develop my business. Maybe as a nightcap, but I get hangovers from it and my strength is off the next day. Weekends maybe? I do all kinds of physical stuff all weekend. Some movie or something said "weed makes you ok with being lazy" and for me that's how it makes me feel.

I spent my 20's doing what everyone else wanted me to do. I won't be truly free until I'm done paying alimony but I can say my 30's have been fantastic. Life starts when you start living it for yourself.

because the conversation on/off this weekend was about how I have acres of snow to move. Justification meant I wasn't kidding. I own a plow... Thanks for your input.

Seems like you needs a mentor. There's only so much we can tell you to do. You need to see it done. Also, check out FedEx and UPS.

My health was and always will be more important than another human's happiness. I never complained but i apologized a lot. She finally started pouting after a few months and I asked her what was wrong... she said I had changed, she wasn't happy, her life wasn't fun. I said "I'm sick, this isn't my fault and I didn't plan this" She said "I know" but it was clear she was blaming me. As I got better her bad mood was bumming me out so I asked her to move out. 1 year relationship, sick bedridden 4 mo…

Age 33, I try my best to go without coffee. I like the taste and I'm likely addicted so I still drink a cup or two a day...better than 8. I have encountered a lot of health problems and I am getting even more serious about my diet and my health. I need to be able to feel and tell my doctors what my energy level is without caffeine.

Here's how I see it: You set the rule for yourself not her. She broke it, now it's your turn to follow through. End it briefly and go no contact, for you not for her. I've been there done that with this scenario. I didn't want her going cause she was promiscuous. I somehow didn't want to admit that to myself so I tried to stop it. When she came over one night with some new tricks in bed that was the last time we saw each other.

No children, but in my case if I don't make alimony payments she gets to sue me at my cost to renegotiate the contract. Which means I lose what little I had to gain. It gives her the upper hand to take the other 50%. Don't get married. If you do, get a lawyer who specializes in affluence to put together a bulletproof pre-nup. They will advice you how to proceed through the marriage to avoid losing your ass when it ends. Very little after the marriage can be protected with a pre-nup. Once you're …

This comment is for humor only... but if they confront you together hold frame and make them fight to the death for you, then next the winner.

In a similar situation right now, about to call it off. I'm not sure I'm going to miss her. I am going to miss the ongoing project of pursuing her and the positive feelings I get from asserting myself and receiving affection in return. It feels like a game. Been there, done this and I am fairly confident that she can quickly be replaced with someone who provides the same feels. In other words, I thought she was special because of a massive amount of common interests, and she's probably not.

Thanks for your reply. I am normally very decisive and I follow my gut. (learned how to execute after ending a marriage) This time I feel like there's something to honor from the past.

Thanks for your reply. I agree there's plenty more out there. Based on discussions we've had this also reflects differences in our chosen directions in life. I may not be the illness entirely.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
