I can sympathize. My father was a great provider for the family but never took care of his health. Never taught me masculinity either. Now he's just an obese retiree. Nice guy, but I resent him for not teaching me something that I have to now resort to online forums for.

Is it just me or is there an agenda driven campaign by the MSM to normalize and even encourage single motherhood, especially to girls? It's rare to find couples/mothers of boys or boys and girls in MSM and commercials. Why?

Shit man, this was deep. Really touched a nerve there.

Might be a little irrelevant, but everytime I see one of those girls on IG who show off their booties, and you have to dig a little to find pictures of their faces - they almost always look ugly. But have somehow found an audience with their (most likely) fake assets.

Sounds like you've drunk the Gracie JJ kool-aid. Slow down there partner, all martial arts have their merits and should be respected as such. Don't go knocking on boxing either, do you have any idea the insane amount of conditioning boxers go through? Your 2 hour class 3x a week doesn't come close to what even a varsity level boxer trains for. And have you never heard of the Gracie hunter Sakuraba? Look him up...perhaps that'll humble you a little.

Per kg of current bodyweight or ideal/lean body weight?

To add to that, it also has to do with their metabolism and gut health being all messed up. Rectifying that with the right supplements along with a 500 kcal deficit and IF 2-3x a week is a great start. Not to mention dropping all processed junk from their diet. I haven't had the urge for a donut in over a year.

Amen to @majaka1234's advise. Being 28 myself and having been married at 22, I'd tell myself to not even consider marriage until at least my late 20s. Establishing financial independence, and health should be every man's goal in his 20s.

Very much so relevant to my upbringing. Thanks for sharing!

There you go. I too listen to my personal trainer who's been training me in functional strength and conditioning for the past 5 months. Turns out my lean body mass is between 200 and 220 lbs. I'm 270 now down from 320 last year. All my life I was told the ideal weight is 75-80 kgs/ 165 - 185 lbs. Turns out it's not true. Since I have broad shoulders I can accomodate more muscle, thus my ideal weight being 20 lbs over what it'd be for someone else my height (5' 9").

Don't listen to them. Different body types dictate different lean mass numbers. BMI isn't a tell all for obesity. Are you seeing a personal trainer? What do they think?

Positives: * 95% recovered from my ankle sprain 2 weeks back. Went back to training earlier this week, but taking things a bit slow till I fully recover * Shaved my chest and back hair for the first time in life, and it feels awesome! * Few people messaged me saying my fitness journey posts inspired them to start working out themselves Negatives: * Still haven't gotten to doing tax returns * In debt, and figuring out ways to pay it off asap

Yea I was confused about that too :S If anything, they'd be more receptive to redpill.

I sprained my ankle last week during kickboxing warmup and am out of commission since then. Might require physio to heal fully (I can walk now but with a slight limp). Don't know when I will return to training and this kills me internally. In the meanwhile, I've been careful with my diet decreasing macros proportionally in light of decreasing metabolism due to inactivity. Thankfully I lost 2 lbs in the past week so I hope I can at least maintain my weight if not lose it any further. Doing IF has…

Literally every single woman in my office (I work at a family owned company) has tattoos. I couldn't figure out why. I guess it's an american woman thing.

Yea I'd just get it for yourself. Me and my kids use organic milk. FYI you can also use almond or coconut Milk mixed with some protein powder and you might be able to leave milk altogether.
/r/TheRedPill23/02/18 07:44 PM

Another thing, avoid the milk you normally get in the market. It's filled with artifical chemicals and other crap. If you have to use milk, buy organic milk instead. Best is to go to your local dairy farmer and buy from them, but if you can't then buy organic milk instead. I personally make do with nut milks (almond, coconut, or cashew milk).

I can sympathize with the spirituality part. Being religious myself and married, I can't relate to the PUA aspects of TRP. I do however strongly identify with the desire to be the best version of yourself, and being only dependent on yourself and not others.

Yeah much better than using white flour or corn tortillas if you ask me.

I personally prefer almond flour tortillas made by a company called Siete. But it should be easy to find multi-grain tortillas in supermarkets. I'd use those.

Replace carbs with slow burning carbs instead, like whole grains (quinoa, brown rice, oats, etc.)

Cutting and lifting still on point. Still improvising with diet though, gotten back to using MyFitnessPal to track food and water intake Getting into boxing and kickboxing. Before I couldn't do the warmups but now I can breeze through them easily Want to expand my social network with some high SMV alphas, since I don't drink I am considering joining a different dojo that also teaches boxing, muay thai, and BJJ (one I go to has mostly kids or seniors coming)

I never had an emotional connection with my parents.

People with low self-esteem do look for acceptance from others, I still struggle with it myself. But what if I just want an emotional connection with my partner, for emotional support - not necessarily validation. I get that you're trying to get me to come to the realization that I'm asking the wrong question, I just need you to give it straight to me.

I don't know if it's RP as I'm still learning the concepts, but my question is if I feel an emotional void inside of me that I think can only be fulfilled with a partner who has a high level of EQ - have I lost the plot of RP all together? Or am I still asking the wrong questions?
/r/TheRedPill08/02/18 05:37 PM

Thanks for the tough talk. I have a question that I hope I don't get berated for. If I feel that I should have a strong emotional connection with my wife/gf, am I still RP?

Congrats on taking the first step. It's a slow road, but you'll get there! Read the compound effect by Darren Hardy. It talks about this.

Completely agree with #1. My life changed when I stopped hanging out/interacting with negative people and started associating with more like-minded folks. Unfortunately, most of these folks I meet are online since we're in difference cities. Another issue for me is the negativity/self-doubt/self-esteem issues I face with parents. Since they live with me, I can't do much about it and hence limit my interactions with them as much as possible. How would you handle this?

No, but from experience someone shows their true colors in at least two situations. Travel, and Transactions. So in the case of a girl, maybe you could see how they deal with splitting bills on a date, or giving to charity. This, of course, is not just limited to girls. I'm curious to see if there are more.

How do you gauge a girl's upbringing? Do you have some litmus tests for character?
/r/TheRedPill06/02/18 02:40 PM

Thanks for the share. I had a similar upbringing with a dominating mother (who rarely inspired confidence and self-esteem in me) and a doting, loving father (who was a super beta, but a great provider). I grew up with and still suffer self-esteem and confidence issues. But things changed immensely for me when I joined a mastermind that was filled with like-minded men. It is a great support group for me and one that's enabled me to better myself constantly.

I use Old school labs' products. I take their pre, post, fat burner, and test booster. For protein shake I use Organifi Complete Meal replacement mixed with some beef collagen. I have a very extensive routine for supps. PM me if you'd like to know more.

We go from here to fuck them in the stairwells and in a stranger's van parked on a public street, pile driver over the seat backs. Ok seriously, I need to know where this is coming from. How's this becoming a meme?

Working out 5x weekly now. The supplements I'm taking seem to be helping immensely. Started kickboxing classes last week and will be adding a Bujutsu class from next week also. Trying to learn how to become an influencer on social media so as to leverage my fitness journey that I'm documenting. Want to monetize it all through endorsements and coaching. In the meanwhile, working on improving myself. Reading up on sidebar material. Listening to Joe Rogan podcast episodes with Jordan Peterson. Fina…
