What are some marketable skills that I can learn in my free time? Its nothing bank breaking of course, but it usually means that I have cash sitting in a jar every time i feel like going out and doing something. To most people it wouldn't be worth their time, but as a student I feel your pain brother. | /r/askTRP | 01/10/15 08:51 PM
What are some marketable skills that I can learn in my free time? Can't get wealthy solely by been a photographer, but if you hit the right market you can make a fairly easy little bit of extra money. I make 50 bucks every week, sometimes a bit more by doing amateur photography for children's birthday parties/teenager 18th/21st I charge 50 bucks for me to turn up and take some half decent photos on my DSLR for 2 hours. The two groups that talk the most; moms and teenagers. No need to advertise. Fuckers do it for me for free. | /r/askTRP | 01/10/15 08:26 PM

Breaking into established groups. In Australia, particularly in student culture we dont really drink at pubs. Alcohol is ridiculously expensive here, and even more so at pubs. Thats why it is hard to get people to drink at places other than parties, usually only for special events. | /r/askTRP | 02/09/15 02:38 PM
Breaking into established groups.Thanks, thats a really good angle I hadn't though of before. | /r/askTRP | 02/09/15 02:37 PM

Breaking into established groups.Hm, I'll give it a go. But I suspect Its gonna be the same thing. Why would they come to a pub to drink when they are all already drinking on campus? | /r/askTRP | 02/09/15 02:22 PM
Breaking into established groups.Nah, entirely different state | /r/askTRP | 02/09/15 02:20 PM
Breaking into established groups.Yes, computer hacking and poor classroom behavior. I was a bad kid and when I stopped playing rugby they wouldn't put up with me anymore. Stopped playing rugby because everyone on the team was a cunt to me. | /r/askTRP | 02/09/15 02:16 PM
Breaking into established groups. My Uni has a residential school attached to the campus. You're right. Its a stupid question but I can't exactly just turn up can I? | /r/askTRP | 02/09/15 02:12 PM
Breaking into established groups.I did mine playing AFL too. Came down badly from an aerial contest and that was the end of it. I'm 19, 20 next year so thats why I am a bit worried about just jumping into a college full of 18 year olds. perhaps I'm stressing over nothing. I had a share house of my own here when I was working, and it was the shit. Parties every weekend. But the lease ended and we all went our separate ways. I wasn't sure what would be the best path, getting a flat or going to a res college. I thought res might b… | /r/askTRP | 02/09/15 02:01 PM
Breaking into established groups.I just feel like been the one to ask if they are all drinking on campus makes me sound like a tryhard. | /r/askTRP | 02/09/15 01:48 PM
Breaking into established groups. Thanks for the suggestion. Thats something I haven't tried before. I worry a lot about befriending betas though, due to been tarred with the same brush. | /r/askTRP | 02/09/15 01:46 PM
Breaking into established groups.I have never been described as boring before, but perhaps thats part of my problem. Maybe more bravado will solve some of my problems. I'm 6ft tall, 85kgs. Im not small, but I dont really have that room dominating frame I would like to have. I have a lot of shut in hobbies (model figures, computer games, cooking), but I like to think that they balance out with my love of partying, and that i play a fair bit of sport, and have played for districts before. However I didn't play this year after hav… | /r/askTRP | 02/09/15 01:44 PM
