I go with: "Certainly exceptions can be made" "Ya, most likely" then keep talking I've been with women 25 years older than me. There's nothing you can say that will convince them, you just need to carry on the conversation.

It has made me respect both women and men more. What I've learned: 1. Women do not like bad guys. Women want confident men. In Highschool the confident men might be jocks, assholes, etc, but this is just a coincidence. If you are a genuinely nice guy, who believes in himself completely, you are much more attractive than any asshole. 2. Women do appreciate vulnerability Don't get the idea that not showing any weakness is the key to showing your strength. In my life I've has school problems(been k…

Man, you really sound like you are in a good position and you seem to know it. Let's recap: You've had solid relationship experience and see some of the mistakes you made in them. You've traveled the world. You've got the talent, social skills, and passion required to form a band and play some gigs. You've changed your routine and gotten in the physical shape you want to be in. You've focused on your career and have some clear thoughts on the direction you want to take it. And I'm sure more... I'm a bit conflicted about this lately. There are advantages and disadvantages and depends on what your goal is. I usually coax a girl to my place with the idea of watching a movie and drinking some wine. But for the most part a girl coming to a guys home for a date has already shown her intention to sleep with you. My success rate when bringing someone to my house is very high. I have the power, I am in control. I bring her drinks, I get her to my bed, she asks me where the bathroom is. But aft…

The scariest sex I ever had was with the second girl. The first one occurred naturally and I sort of instinctively went along with it. The second one was more like this, I knew all day I was going to get some. My nerves were shaky and I was scared to hell. Just power through it. :)

People should approach it like learning a new language. You need book learning, you need to understand conjugation, you need proper grammar, you need vocabulary. But it must be paired with actually practicing it with other speakers of that language. Reading gives you the tools. Practice hones them.

My brain completely 100% filters it out. It drives me mad to hear it on recording, because it is so different. The best comparison would be that you think something looks red, and everyone says its blue. You take a picture of it on your phone and the picture is blue. It does prove to me how much of perception is actually an interpretation. Our conscious mind does not have access to the direct feeds from our senses, instead we get the post processed version. Here, there is every sort of gay guy. …

I didn't grow up here, and neither did most of them. I actually am unable to hear it unless I listen to a recording of my voice. I've tried to get rid of it but can't really figure out how. I find that about equal percentages of women find it to be a turn off as do find it endearing; so it all evens out. It may even let me act like more of an aggressive douche whilst still seeming like a sweet boy. :p

Not many lesbians, so not a real issue. The percentage of gay men here isn't THAT high. But among clean cut white men in their 20's it is quite high. I have a slight lisp also which doesn't help, hah. For most straight guy's I don't think it's a huge problem. I just fit the demographics of a gay man here. Edit: You got me thinking a little about how this affects my game. Often when I approach a girl, or a girl approaches me, she will ask if I'm straight. I'll say of course and she may say "are y…

Living in San Francisco I have a different outlook on it. Often the assumption is that I AM gay until I otherwise specify. I've been out to many gay bars and clubs and I see how the scene works. When it is two guys many of the obstacles that a woman presents have now disappeared. It is two dudes, it is no longer necessary to beat around the bush, no pun intended.

"Cool" Then carry on with previous conversation. "Woah there! Slow down, we're not dating yet!" "Too bad for you" Carry on with conversation. Just power through it. Maybe she's lying. And if she isn't maybe she'll point you towards one of her single friends.

Get her to talk on the phone/ ask her on a date. Texting can be very good to build up anticipation, but the goal should always be to get it to the real world.

One thing to note is that men and women tell and relate to stories differently. Man's Story: John did XYZ. Joe did ABC. I did 123. Woman's Story: Susie did XYZ. Sam said ABC. I felt 123. Women tell stories that are more focused on dialog and feelings. Men tell stories centered around a sequence of events. If your audience is women, then you should try to tie the events of your story to the actors' emotions in order to grab their interest and emotional involvement.

Look at it as changing the entire way you conduct your life, not just some video game codes to get the girls. Mentally: Change the way you think. Become positive. Be on the constant look for change. Emotionally: You must love yourself in order to achieve self-confidence. Socially: Push your social boundaries. Make new friends, both girls and guys. Assess old friendships. Physically: Exercise, get in shape, look good. There is a lot of material here. Read the material on the right to get familiar…

It takes work. However, you can't have every girl you see, but you can get the next girl who is just as attractive. It depends on what you want. Sleeping with a different girl each day of the week takes a lot of work and time. If you have a girlfriend with a heavy sexual appetite you'd have more sex than if you were playing the field. So variety and quantity can be competing goals. And your emotional satisfaction. Does it make you feel stronger and more confident to get the girls? Or do you want…

The 18 year old is less predictable, they can fall pretty fast and hard. Even just a few years later girls are way more cynical and tough, which I prefer. You can show affection, and when you mean it, it feels great. But really, there is nothing you can say to prevent it. The girl may agree in theory, but repeat this over and over and she's going to fall for you. There have been girls who I loved (and still love), and it showed in how we interacted sexually. But it is not sustainable. There will…

"Fuck it, let's do it live!" ;) Yea, pretty much. You should be the one to initiate it and step up the passion. But follow her rythm, her forcefulness. If she shows signs that shes tired or needs to gasp for air, slow down for a sec and see is she keeps at it. When she breaks the kiss, pull back a bit and look her in the eyes with your grin.

In what way did she say you were in different places in life? If you are actually in different places, then you can argue that it doesn't matter. If you really aren't then shes just saying that to soften the blow.

No proper way. There is context: First kiss? Making out? In the midst of sex? There is style: Does she peck? Does she lock then unlock lips rapidly? Does she hold on for a long time? Does she put her tongue in your mouth? Does she let your tongue into hers? Does she like to alternate angles? Alternate top to bottom? Does she try to eat your face? Every girl kisses differently. Just start with your lips very soft, nibble(with just lips) her top or bottom lip, a bit of suction then release. From t…

You need to realize when people are holding you back. Not just holding you from girls but all forms of progression. Don't cut them off, but you should work on developing a new circle of friends who are more fitting for who you want to be. If the other guys want to come along, then sure. But your train is not waiting at the station, it's chugging along.

1.5. More of an insult than a tease. 2. a) NO! Bringing up your ex in conversation with a girl you just met is not a good idea. b) In my opinion you never talk ill of your previous girlfriends to a prospective girl. It shows that you are not over it, it shows that you blame the other person, and maybe some day you'll say these things about the next girl. Really, I actually think saying anything negative about anyone is a bad thing, be above it.

I used to tell people that I was supposed to meet a friend at the bar but the friend baled at the last moment, now I was there alone. Then the girls would immediately absorb me into their group and I could work from the inside.

Many of your similarly aged guy friends are likely lying about not being virgins. There are virgins here twice your age, don't fret. I was 21 and that is actually probably on the early end of the spectrum here. At your age what is important is developing your social circleS. Be everyone's friend. Be outgoing. Get involved in sports, hobbies, activities. Don't rely solely on being in proximity to cool guys, be your own cool guy.

You're an attractive guy. As a tall buff white guy I can't say I know how it is, other than I too see the brutal difference it makes. However there is a subset of women who even prefer browness, and tons more who can go either way. My old roommate was black and she liked Indian guys. Indian and Asian guys have a reputation for being stiff, reserved, and for Indian guys especially... desperate since the gender ratio is so out of wack (in a place like the SF Bay Area at least). However, there is a…

You'll have to nuke your relationship with her. You'll either mess it up and fail, or you'll mess it up and succeed. If you are okay with that, go for it.

It's not difficult if you are conscious of it. When I look back at my relationship I feel as if I must not have been conscious because the mistakes I made are so obvious to me now. If you go in a happy, strong, positive person willing to adapt and COMMUNICATE, you can have a first relationship that lasts forever.

I actually changed before finding this sub-reddit and am just here to share any helpful knowledge I may have. I find that doing so makes me think of new ideas, reminds me of old ones, and of course I learn some new ideas from others. I really really think people need to examine their whole lives rather than just trying to learn some "tricks" to get women. Really, a lot of these tricks would just organically come out of you if you were a confident and happy man. I hadn't slept with or even kissed…

NP OP :) 1. No plea/ vagueness. She asks you about past relationships, and then you talk about girls you've only casually been out with. She asks how long since your last relationship, use what ever semi true amount of time( time since last date, time since last girl youve been out with many times, etc) so its not a lie. She asks you how long your longest/last relationship was, you change the subject, or go ahead and say none have been very long term since you haven't found someone you really li…

I don't think it's a very large obstacle really... Be brief i your explanation of your history and move on to other conversation, make it not a big deal to you. If she presses the issue just give a response of "I've dated girls and haven't found the match for me yet" or something similar and then move on. A first relationship is when you learn the ropes of a relationship, and some girls don't want to have to teach you how to have a girlfriend. So what is the remedy for this? Learn how to be a go…

This. Talking about past relationships with a new date is a downer even when you have a good relationship history. I wouldn't even do the humor saying "whats wrong with me." Just give her your one sentence response that makes it clear that you are 1. looking for a good connection. 2. Haven't found one yet. And 3. Aren't worried about it because you know you're awesome and someone cool will pop up eventually. PS. Pathetic is being unhappy and doing nothing to change it. You being here shows you s…

At 28, not having a past relationship is going to send a girl flags. It either means you can't get a girl, or you've been avoiding relationships. I actually think that a girl would be MORE concerned about someone avoiding relationships than not finding one. I would not lie about this in the future to women you want relationships with; it's a bit of a messy one. Sex. Essentially I think guys need to go one of two routes on this. Either act as if you've been saving yourself, thus are a virgin by c…

The goal here would not be to hope she likes him right now but to get a NEW lead on girl. He should ask to go catch up and maybe something can happen from there based on new interactions not old.

Oneitis. You've made yourself overly available, and she is not reciprocating. Furthermore she is causing you great inconvenience; showing her disregard/selfishness. You essentially always have the level of game you started with regardless of what you learn. What ever you pick up now will be far more use to you with the next girl than it will this one. I'd move on.. But of course, you don't want to hear that. So as far as this girl goes... Don't show anger, don't show frustration. Those are signs…

Social circle game is what I tend to stay clear of. It can be incestuous, creates a mess when it doesn't work out or even if it works out, and a girl will certainly be more cautious if she knows word of what goes on will spread through her own social network. Not sure why people find this preferable to complete strangers sometimes.
/r/seduction09/07/12 06:23 AM

Indeed. Instead of looking for a girl who meets every criterion, just let it go naturally until they have eliminated themselves by some irreconcilable difference... You may find that what kind of girl you find is actually a better match than the one you're looking for.

The book that started all of my change: "Feel the fear and do it anyways" by S. Jeffers. May not be perfect, but it was what helped me.

No difference. Really... Don't mistake niceness for fearfulness. A nice "good girl" still needs to be wooed, needs to feel some of the innate emotions involved in attraction and courtship. The language of the reading material may be geared towards hookups, one night stands, and such, but all you need to do is filter that out with your brain and every thing else remains. However, something is very important to note... If you are constantly thinking about each woman you approach as a possible part…

You're fine. Though in the future I would not disclose. A girl might feel guilty taking your virginty or have some other sort of hold up or wonder why she's the only girl who you've been this far with. I would make your virginity sound like a point of pride not shame to you. As if you have been saving yourself, not that you're desperate but cant get laid. If a girl gets naked in your bed, you've done good. Would other guys have closed the deal? Most certainly most. But who cares. Chances are you…

Truth is, you can't wait to have no fear. The fear only goes away after you've done the task. I read a book called "Feel the fear and do it anyways" so that is my motto. I am a former AFC, but have no problem getting girls now. However, last night for example I was pretty scared to approach a girl i was interested in, but I did it anyways and got her number. Don't wait for fear to go away. Confidence can trump fear, and you build your confidence every time you overcome the fear. I agree that loo…

Good! Honestly, I think unattractive girls have pretty much the same tastes in guys as the attractive ones. Look at us guys, even the ugly ones want the 9's and 10's. A less attractive girl is probably willing to settle for a subpar guy, but they certainly would rather put their effort into guys they see as being above them on the totem pole. It's always a good sign to get attention from women regardless of their attractiveness IMO. I've ignored girls on the dance floor who weren't my type and t…

If you suck the first time, you'll probably suck the second time too. I understand the anxiety over the first time. I was 21 and I lied to the girl(my ex) and said she was my 2nd or 3rd. Most of it is innate and you can probably get a free pass on it being just OK anyways. Just make the girl the focus, the goal for you is more sex later not the best sex ever. It's confidence out of indifference. You're value is higher if you are already having fun; you don't need the girl. There are probably plenty of other non-creepy guys you'll be competing with. You can definitely be more aggressive than I described, but it is key that a girl has seen who is trying to dance with her. No girl wants a stranger grinding up behind her.

I think of dancing the same way as I think of swimming. I really don't understand what people mean when they claim they can't dance... In swimming you don't need to be Michael Phelps. Can you keep your head above water? Can you go from one side of the pool to the other? Then you can swim! Unless you are in a break dancing crew or take Salsa dance classes, you probably should avoid making actual dance moves...
