Sometimes when your confused because her actions are crazy, it’s because she’s crazy. Personality disorders and mental health problems really exist.

I didn’t get a lawyer and got screwed. I had to go back with the state to fix my child support. But it was over quick and on the other side I think I was lucky to not have to go through the long drawn out pain (we get that already). I would stand up for what fair but aware that a quick divorce is something to weigh as well.

I pretty much gave everything away, not that I had any assets. I kept my student loan, paid a max child support because a estimate of income was used since I just lost my business and filed for bankruptcy. I got no tax credits which I’m paying for now. My ex made it hard for me to see my kids for 2 years. Sometimes I wonder if it still was for the best as I didn’t have to have a long expensive divorce.

I didn’t and found out the lawyer made sure her client was well represented, even though I thought it was a mutual agreement that would be fair.

Yes, it definitely sounds like that. I feel for you dude. I had the same thing happen l. 17 years, two kids, she cheated, she discards me. The above sub helped me a lot. The only closure you get is knowing they are disordered. I’m not sure I’ll ever be in a relationship again.

17 for me as well. Very similar circumstances. It’s been three years for me, and still have very few thoughts that aren’t still related to it.

You know, the worst part about this is the disappointment you feel when the person you loved does not have the integrity you thought they had. Putting aside the cheating and the divorce (which I can actually have some empathy for)At least for me. It also makes me feel like you can never truly know someone.

Religion fucked my marriage/sex life up as well. Youll get through this. Get some counciling. It helped me see things with more mature eyes if that makes sense.

This is what has just helped me get over the pain. This was my relationship to a tee. Not sure it it applies to you, but it helped me understand why my wife just dropped me out of her life, and treated me like her enemy.

In that case you’ll be one of his six “sluts”.

exactly the same here. I Just got divorced. And it was almost a dead bedroom situation, but definitely a emotional dead bedroom. All too common in Mormonism. “Any two people can make it”, said the prophet president Kimball. What a cult!

Yep, did that to. (Ex-Mormon ) The other thing is if your religion looks down on masturbation, then you lose any sense of sexual autonomy. She will have full control over when you get sex. If your have a big libido difference from your wife then it’s going to be a huge problem that won’t go away.

And when you become resentful of each other, and argument cycles start, and perpetually get worse; you’ll realize that it definitely is a just cause for divorce. I just got divorced and this was a huge factor.
