Quite a few people in the men's rights movement have supported the idea of not intervening during the course of a woman being raped. If there are "so many" incidents, Axxys, then they are not "isolated". Isolated from each-other. My story is not the result of the others that I see on this subreddit. I did not understand why they were so prevalent on this subreddit in that I did not see the purpose of posting them (How does this post help Men's Rights?). Then this all happened, and here I am.

My mother was abused by her mother for the majority of her life. My dad's (effective) advise to her wasn't to cut contact, it was essentially to put effort into clarifying what she wants from her mother, and what is realistic to expect from her. TL;DR Understand she's not the relative you want, but she's the relative you have. Take what you can get, avoid the rest.

Let's not be too hasty and blame it all on prejudices against men, your cousin's boyfriend could have either had a history of dubitous relations with female co workers or even had instances or other complaints from other females I personally doubt it. He never struck me that way. More objectively, he had just transferred in to the hospital two months ago, he was told they didn't have a choice but to fire him as he was still on probation.

I just want to point out a simple concept. Even if an interest group ignores "poverty, racism, ablism"... and a whole slew of other things are are generally when ignored, it doesn't make that group bad. Plenty of honorable charities ignore lots of bad things, and that doesn't reflect poorly on them, it simply means that it's not their focus. Disclaimer: I feel in no way, shape, or form qualified to discuss whether or not the MRM has any involvment in poverty etc etc.

I'm 25. My dad never finished highschool. My mom is the lady that calls you when you haven't paid your taxes. I didn't go when I was 18 because I had a stroke. what makes you important in any way? Almost always top in my class; Runner up when I'm not. The point I'm getting at? Fuck you.

Less than 10% of the students in my year are male. It probably varies from year to year, but as a whole, you're right. When my two oldest teachers were still nurses, there were no male nurses.

I'm still just a student, but I know quite a few people who have already been in the field for years. The general consensus from them is that males are in far greater demand, but they tend to get stuck doing heavy lifting and monitoring combative patients.

It's not really called "girlfriend mode", and even if it was, it's not sexist in that it's not claiming that girls are bad at video games (it would be simply "Girl mode" if so), it's simply a way of quickly explaining the dynamic between a couple consisting of one gaming and one non-gaming person. TL;DR Stupid controversy which ends up just bringing more PR to the game.
