You too need to explore the outside world. Traditions no longer exist in your place. But not other places. The world is bigger than just your country. Go to South Africa, and see what a low divorce rate country is like. Edit: I saw your reply South Africa is relatively safe as long you stay in urban areas And its 80% Christian country

You are attracted to traditional values. RP is for people wanting game in a world where traditional values are looked down upon. In that case you wont find it fulfilling. Go explore other ways of life. Explore other countries and see how their family structure is like. Experience different cultures. Broaden your horizons.

Agreed. At least face the person and kindly tell him you're not interested in talking, and walk away. Ignoring a person without warning comes off very snobbish.

Agreed. I think this is where prenuptial agreement is useful. A cheating clause can give some deterrence.

My original point still stands though. Love with challenges and risks make it appear more valuable. To which is used to draw parallel to sex and it's value. That's all. I think you're going on tangent.

I think we should frame that. Say medieval England? Average lifespan is 31 years old. Not surprising given the proliferation of diseases from ineffective treatments and poor hygiene. Marriage is at 12-14 years old. Younger if you're poorer (or a noble). I agree the desire to have sex freely is present since before. But that's like saying I have desire to eat everything freely, or obtain all the expensive items. These are blocked by health concerns for first and financial concerns for second. Say…

I believe rabbits have you beat with around 14 days receptive period and only 2 days non-receptive period. That's sex everyday for 2 weeks straight. Damn. A sperm can last 5 days in a woman. Sex once a week gives ~71% chance it will meet egg. Technically women's refraction lasts few seconds to minutes. Faster than men for sure . Yes women are horny since time immemorial. I just don't get what this have to do with the health risks associated with sex and it's impact on the fabric of society.

I'd say the story of Romeo and Juliet have a universal love theme that applies to all ages. Hence why it's main enjoyers are young to middle aged adults. Whatever the challenges of today's love maybe, in terms of sex its but an after thought. Such is it's value.

Considering the time period: Juliet 13 and Romeo 16, in a world where they'll die by 31. I won't say more of that. Instead, to point out this doesn't stop modern middle aged people from yearning the love they had. Therefore my point still stands.

Your disregard for the sacrifices men made for you will eventually drive others away from you. Since you clearly equating rapist men with all other men. Good day.

It's only a problem if people use it to treat sex cheaply. Hence why I say the only thing stopping a person now is what's within themselves.

Whether its casual or emotional sex, it shares the same low risk nowadays. That in my view cheapens it compared to previously when the risk is higher. They say love is stronger when faced with challenges. That's what makes Romeo and Juliet so appealable. Nowadays Romeo and Juliet meets on Tinder, while also swinging by Tim and Susan. Yet some people still thinks they can achieve that traditional love fantasy. It's not comparable. Just pointing it out.

Adultery was punishable by death. Death duels were also fought by men for the sullied honor of their woman/sisters/daughters. Fathers would force the women's Chad to take responsibility, hence the term shotgun marriage. Those were all uphold by men. I find it disingenuous and sexist of you to simply disregard the sacrifices of men.

Contraceptive won't save you from maternal death if you wanted a child, or post abortion trauma etc. Throw in sexual transmitted diseases as well. The advancement of healthcare as whole contributed to the notion of risk free sex we have today. As for war; I don't really see how it pertains to the changing of the value of sex.

I'm just pointing out the skewed perception of sex in modern society. Plus it's not just birth control. Hormone pills won't stop you from having postpartum hemorrhage or save you from ruptured ectopic pregnancy. Your view is too narrow.

Men get killed for sleeping with women. Adultery punishment is stoning remember? How easy for you to simply blame men. Well, if it's so fun for men, then there's no need for marriage for men.

Gigolos do. That's why you don't marry those guys.

This is another reason to support the proposal. It will distribute the risk of contraception between men and women, solving another point of contention between the sexes.

That's actually the point I'm trying to make in this post. Men need to drum up support and noise. Convince there is a market, and sellers will come. Sadly I don't see it mentioned enough.

Rejecting fuck girls can be seen as misogynistic. Sexual revolution guarantees men/women freedom of moral judgement for being promiscuous.

Because society awards "alpha high achiever men". Many big time male CEOs and bankers have some form of those traits. Men who wants to uphold traditional values are punished for being anti-feminist. Men who want to escape from this hedonism are also punished as incels. TRP exist because there's market for alpha bad boys, and modern women are the buyers.

Its fairly normal, the point is being principled and controlled. Plug it into something fun and not endangering anyone else I suppose? I occasionally need adrenaline fix, while some people do dangerous stupid things, others do sports. I go hike, kayak, or games. Not sure about emotions though. Maybe reading novels or playing Sims?

Its his personal preference, not a question of "OK" or "Not OK" for society. He wants a girl who mostly have sex with men she wanted committed relationship with. Maybe because he too is like that. What's wrong with trying to find an equal?

The way women kills is different than a man. A man values honor, and they use physical means to intimidate or kill others. Woman values reputation, and they use emotional means to intimidate or kill others. When men slut shame, its not really slut shame. Only women sees them as slut shame, because she feels the effect, or more accurately; more affected by it. Contrast women slut shaming men, men doesn't care, he might even be loving it. (provided he isn't too beta) Women kills women by emotional…

God no. Women should be able to choose whatever she wants, and be accountable to the consequences herself. Just like men. We can only advise or persuade. Kids fall when they learn to walk.

I respect that you hold to a sense of honour. I do too. That trait is becoming more uncommon. Honour not to be confused with chivalry, where chivalry panders to a now dysfunctional code, honour is about basic virtues of human being. I believe its important to keep that honour, mainly to improve ourselves. Its okay to be repulsed by bad behavior, it justs means you know what is quality. Its impossible to find a perfect person, but I think we can find women who are of higher quality, thus less hea…
