This is what's worked for me. Have one of the girls in on it.

I was going to post just a fitness book, but I'd go with Bigger Leaner Stronger by Mike Matthews over SL. In my opinion it's the best book out there for a beginning lifter. I did SL for several months and got a bit stronger, but didn't really see any aesthetic gains until I switched to the BLS split.

It's hard to say, man. A lot of it depends on your location. I don't see anything in your profile that jumps out at me as being really bad, but I'm no expert. Mine is 100% silly and really doesn't let anyone know a lot about me. For messages, I usually find something in her profile I can make some kind of joke about. If her profile is sparse and/or boring as shit, I have a few stupid lines I use, but they don't get responses nearly as often. (And I think that might be because girls who don't put…

You just have to take a different approach with your pics. Don't make them all about the way you look; use them to showcase other cool things about you. For example, if you're in a band, use a pic from a show. If you have some other cool hobby, post a pic of yourself doing that. Use pics of yourself having fun and being sociable. Still try to look your best, and have a friend take the pics (no selfies), and you should be fine.

I'm not nearly as methodical about it, but I've been back on OKC for about three weeks and had three f-closes as well, with a similar response rate. A lot of the stuff you said seemed to work for me too, though I didn't even realize I was doing some of it. I did find that on dates where we met for drinks, there usually wasn't a good "in" for me to start touching naturally. Things would seem to be going pretty well otherwise, but at the end of the night she would just want to go home and not boun…

I had the same problem, and I still do depending on my mood. What helped me was noticing the way I acted when I wasn't trying to pick up girls. I just did whatever was going to be fun, and regardless of whether I want to find someone to sleep with, I still want to be engaging and fun to be around. So if I was out and saw people having a good time (male or female), I'd try to get in on it. I don't think it ever ended badly. Most people are happy to cut up with a stranger when they're already havi…

I'm in a similar situation, except I'm 31. I've been on my own since college but recently moved back home after splitting up with the girlfriend and leaving behind pretty much everything I (we) owned. I always just tell girls I'm staying with family until I save some money for furniture, etc. I've had a few that wanted to go to my place but understood after I explained it to them (not that I can't bring anyone here, just that I'd rather not). I've also said I live too far away, which is usually …

Every time I would think about it, I just wouldn't do it. I got into the habit of just ignoring it, and it really hampered my game. I think I was coming off as weak by being afraid to touch. Like many things, all it took was trying it once to get over it. I couldn't have imagined I'd improve so much by just making this one simple change. There I was, working on everything else for months with so little to show for it, and this really simple thing that took one date to figure out was all I needed…

Worrying about insignificant things was one of my biggest problems. I didn't want to take pills either, but my doctor explained it to me like this: if I'm experiencing this kind of anxiety, there's something wrong. It's a chemical imbalance. All pills will do is correct that imbalance. You should at least look into it. Getting on Lexapro a couple years ago was one of the best things I ever did. My life has improved in almost every way, and I've experienced no side effects. (I did try a couple ot…

I had this problem myself. Not just trying to pick up girls, but in all kinds of situations. Turns out I have a pretty severe anxiety disorder (it somehow never occurred to me that this wasn't normal). I got on Lexapro and have Xanax for when I get attacks, and I'm totally fine now. A couple years ago, my biggest concern of the day was whether my Mitchum was going to do its job, and now I barely think about it.

I always wing it. I don't think routines work as well with online dating, because on the Internet it's actually about what you say. I'll read a girl's profile and then come up with something. I make sure to always capitalize and punctuate correctly, though, and I never AOL-speak. I've gotten replies from girls just telling me that they were stoked I could string two sentences together.

Oh, really? Oh. I thought it was just anyone you come across who gets approached a lot (or has to approach) because of her job.

Hey, that sounds pretty good. I might give that a shot tomorrow! Thanks!
