Exactly. What kind of weak-minded cuck would you have to be to want someone like that back?
/r/Divorce_Men18/05/22 02:18 AM

Exactly this. You have to completely and 100% cut ties mentally. If you hold on to even a sliver of hope, you are just destroying your mind and body. You have to see her as completely separate, a total stranger to you, even an enemy. She wants to destroy your life. Do not let her.

Record everything on video and audio, record everything, I repeat record everything. Record all of your interactions with her. Record damage to your personal property. Record any admissions that she makes secretly. Do not let her know that you are recording. Pretend to be amicable and polite and understanding with her, so that you can extract more information out of her.

Seriously this. You have to just mentally disconnect from her completely. She doesn't matter anymore. She is not part of your life. You are the only thing that matters. Whatever is best for yourself is what you need to act on.

I had to pay my ex's attorney, and she got to use them to fuck me over, and steal my children from me. I've fucking had it with this retarded "system" we have. "Justice" is about as real as my ass that smells rosy, like lilacs. All these "judges" and attorneys can go walk off a tall cliff, or take cyanide. I don't give a shit which one it is.

I'd like to see what percentage of father's actually get the children, because they're the ones who are fully equipped to properly care for them. What's that? Only 1% of father's get full custody? What's that? 99% of fathers experience false accusations? This system is fucked.

I know the feeling. It's not easy. I've found it enjoyable to talk to other people out at restaurants in my community. It's also a good idea to find a Bible believing Church where you can find Christian friends. My Christian friends have probably had the most positive impact on my life recently.

Good job being petty. Sometimes it's just something you have to do to humor yourself about a shit situation. Just keep a solid ledger of all the payments. Don't worry about the false accusations. They are completely meaningless. Nearly every single woman does that as part of the process.

Reddit is a far-left cesspool. I guess you are just now figuring that out. The reddit admins support terrorist agendas, like the one you came across. I've been in your shoes before, reported posts for blacks promoting violence, and they simply don't care.

That's how the system works. No one will fight back against it or acknowledge that there's a legitimate problem. Women get whatever they want, without any of the responsibility. It's best to just avoid having any children, if you want to stay out of this mess. Trust me on that.

I'm sorry to hear that, but at least you have the dog! I got a dog about a year after separation and I'm so glad that I have her as a truly loyal companion! 🐕

Listen to this guy. You need to record as much evidence as possible, even if you don't "think" you're going to need it. The verbal timestamp and documentation of your environment is incredibly important context for a judge or anyone else who's listening to the evidence. My personal recommendation is that if you're going to have a "come to Jesus" conversation with her, then you might as well just go ahead and file. You really want, and NEED to blindside her with everything, to throw her into a st…

Women love to waste money on legal battles because they know it hurts you. I was in the same situation, and had to come up with a bullshit agreement to cut off the loss of money.

Keep trying. You guys both made commitments to each other, and it sounds like she is actually working on herself. I don't normally say this, but you kind of owe it to her to try from your side as well. I know it has been 5 years, but keep trying. I hate seeing broken relationships, and yours doesn't sound beyond repair.

You have to turn the light switch off, brother. Just like women turn off their mental light switch and don't want anything to do with you, you have to do the same thing with your emotions. If you don't control your emotions and cut her out of your life, you are going to be an absolute wreck. Do not let her do this to you. She will revel and be happy in your sadness, don't let her do that.

You're in for a shit storm. Her actions have already shown that she is not interested in being amicable. Not to mention, there's no such thing as an amicable divorce. You have to FIGHT for yourself, and everything that you can get. The first step is to get a lawyer, and tell them you are demanding everything. DO NOT settle for less than 50/50. My ex accused me of "abuse", simply because we got into arguments once every few months. I never once name-called her during our relationship. I'm pretty sure 99% of couples argue a lot more often than that. Arguing isn't abuse. Women just use their feelings and get emotional support from their family / friends to make false accusations and ruin men's lives.

Come back to the faith, brother. You of all people know that the world we live in is sinful. The only way we can be redeemed individually is through faith in Jesus Christ's sacrifice. This whole world will be burned up, and a new Earth will be created. I do understand that Christianity can be confusing and feel inconsistent. I've been part of plenty of Bible studies where all of those confusing theories have been disproven though.

100% agreed. A long time ago, I dated someone who was "feminist lite" and it turned out to be a total disaster a few months later. Feminists ruin life for themselves and men. Everyone is miserable with feminism.

The kids have no clue what will happen if they tell their dad. Stop pretending that the kids are just good natured and trying to do the right thing. The kids are actively supporting their mother cheating on their father.
/r/Divorce_Men09/04/22 03:32 PM

This is shit advice. Of course the kids are siding with the mother. They've already made that painfully clear. They can't be trusted, and are not supporting their father.

I had almost the exact same thing happen to me. She took the children from me, got a protection order, and I was at risk of getting arrested. After realizing that the courts were not going to help me get my children back using any kind of emergency action, I decided that I needed to manage the risk in the situation. I could not afford to get arrested, so I came up with an agreement that gives her full custody of the children, and drops the protection order, and also requires her to pay back chil…

DO NOT let her know that you know about what's going on. At this point, you need to focus on protecting your assets and gathering evidence from her. Whatever you do, DO NOT get married or cohabitate. The court system will often see cohabitation as legally married (depending on state), and you open yourself up to massive financial (and other) risk. Avoid one night stands. They will morally bankrupt you in the long term.

Exactly this. Just focus on doing things that you enjoy. I happen to share an interest in shooting with this poster. Maybe I can, bicycling, flying, driving, photography, off-roading, just find a hobby that you love and focus on that. Do not ever give this person the time of day again. Cut off contact. That's what she wanted and she got it. Source: personal experience.

Single moms need money. There's a very good reason that you feel that way, because that is exactly what they are after. Women want money without any of the responsibility.
/r/Divorce_Men13/03/22 07:56 PM
3

Yup this exactly. Now that my ex and I are permanently separated, I can focus on improving myself. I already have a solid foundation to build off of with my local community, but as of this last week, I am now free to truly be myself. I have already started the process of remembering who I was before, and becoming an even better and more powerful version of that.

In my situation, the judge pointed out the questionable nature of her testimony (AKA lies) but he still sided with her anyway. Ask me why I'm jaded. 😂😂😂
/r/Divorce_Men11/03/22 06:50 PM

This guy is spot on. Separation and/or divorce is ALL about risk management. 💯 I literally had to explain this to the first attorney that I hired, and I argued with him for hours about it. He literally told me verbatim "it's not about leverage." I would prefer if he doesn't use any more of our precious oxygen in this world.

Sorry to hear that, brother. Bro hug, no homo.

25% of my paycheck was disappearing to my ex, and I have zero idea if she was even spending that money on my children at all. What I do know is that she went out and bought a brand new car even though she didn't have a job or any kind of financial responsibilities, because she moved back in with her parents. The legal system has zero requirements for the mother to prove that she is actually using my money to provide for and take care of my children. It's absolutely bullshit. The legal system sim…
/r/Divorce_Men11/03/22 06:22 PM

Ugh. I can't believe how "just" our "justice" system is. It really does depend on the mood of the judge. By default, barring any extraneous circumstances, judges will almost always side with the mother.
/r/Divorce_Men11/03/22 06:21 PM
3

Sorry to hear that brother. Men get screwed over by the court system while women just sail through, make false accusations, get the kids without contest, and collect money. The only way to win is to not play the game. That's why I made the BS settlement, that I did. It was out of necessity to avoid total destruction.
/r/Divorce_Men11/03/22 03:53 PM

I know the feeling mate. I thought she was that type of person, but her mother got involved and completely ruined everything. Horrible, horrible human being.
/r/Divorce_Men11/03/22 02:31 PM

Child support is a complete and total scam. I ended up making a settlement where she gets the children, but no child support. If I hadn't done that, I would end up being permanently financially ruined.

This is their ultimate objective.

Just forget about the children. Come to an agreement where you'll relinquish parental rights but also cut off child support. The system we live in is absolutely disgusting. That's all I have to say.

Voice and video record EVERYTHING and make copies of it. Do this for at least several weeks, as you'll need to use the evidence in court. As someone else said, you want to completely blindside her with the news. Play nice and pretend everything is going great, while gathering your evidence.
/r/Divorce_Men03/03/22 01:51 PM

The therapist I hired was beyond useless. It's an older woman, who probably doesn't give one shit about what I'm dealing with. My insurance paid for a few visits, but I won't be going back.

/r/Divorce_Men22/02/22 12:26 AM

This. You must absolutely capture video and audio evidence. If you don't have evidence to use in court, you are going to put yourself at a major disadvantage.

You just have to cut off contact dude. That's it. Every single time you contact her, or allow her to contact you, you're going to keep re-opening the wound. Just cut her off, work through an attorney exclusively. Do not respond to her if she messages you. If she keeps messaging you, file a restraining order against her.

File an emergency injunction right away with an attorney, to prevent her from absconding with the children. That pretty much goes for Reddit as a whole. Reddit is literally owned, in large part, by Tencent, which is a Chinese company. They received $150 million from them, and Tencent was the leader of the Series D funding round. It's in the news all over the place.

Reddit is a toxic leftist cesspool. Are you surprised at being banned for speaking out in support of fathers? Outside of the internet as a whole, I can assure you from personal experience, that fathers are destroyed by the "legal" system.

Leftists like to destroy society by using propaganda to turn normal things into abnormal things. This is no different.

When I read the headline, I thought it was hyperbolic. I was proven wrong. You know who's expendable? Justin J Waters.

You're a good man, brother. Good men often get screwed over by life. I have suffered from severe chronic pain for 9 years and that helped to destroy my once great relationship, not to mention every day of my life being miserable. I understand where you're coming from.

Sounds like the "justice" system is working great. Sorry to hear about that shit.

Read the article. "Forged his signature" That's fraudulent.

Isn't that financial fraud? Punishable by prison time?

WARNING: DO NOT AGREE TO ANYTHING AT MEDIATION THAT YOU ARE NOT 10000% OKAY WITH. If you do, you are going to spend an insane amount of time and money trying to fix it later on, and probably will not be successful. Go to trial, at the first moment you disagree at mediation, and make your demands heard before the judge.

Obvious headline is obvious. Be especially careful of the ones who are over-the-top outgoing. They use their charm to attract sex partners, and are totally worthless for marriage and family purposes.

I'm sorry but real men Love to procreate. We just don't like involving the state into our private affairs. Men in general love to leave a legacy and having child in my experience is Very fulfilling. This dude is a real man. Couldn't agree more, brother.

Light switch effect strikes again. I'm sorry to hear you're going through this, brother. It doesn't get much easier from here on out. Be thankful you have your children though. My ex stole mine and is keeping them from their father, in direct violation of a court order.

I realize this is not on-topic, but I am also extremely interested in knowing percentages of men and women as blatant liars in court.

I also had a terrible experience with my lawyer. He honestly should be serving fries at McDonalds. All he does is ruin people's lives and then pay himself in the back for it.

Simple answer: double standards. There is no way to resolve double standards, because they are two opposing perspectives.

I can't personally relate to this situation, but I can relate to being screwed over by stupid women on multiple occasions. I am sorry to hear this happened to you, but you are your own person. You can rebuild your life and develop your own, independent reputation. Hard work and success is the best revenge against idiots like your ex.

Underrated comment.

If any of your so-called "friends" won't listen to you rant about how shitty your situation is, drop them like a millstone. I have had people claim to care about me, but as soon as I try to vent my frustrations, they start taking it personally. These people are toxic and will destroy your life if you allow them to. Get far away from them, and find friends who are sympathetic to you.

I'm 35 and going through the same thing you are, my friend. It has been 6 months and I'm out in the middle of nowhere (intentionally) alone (not intentionally).

My personal recommendation is don't do it. I thought my ex was a "Christian" but she turned out to be one of the most vitriolic and hateful people I've ever known in my life. And that's after almost 6 years together, and having two young children together.

There's no such thing as a success story. As someone else recently posted, it's "a race to the bottom." I have practically zero visitation with my two young children, and she's just stealing from my paycheck every month. I just quit my job, and will be filing for a modification of child support tomorrow, so she isn't sucking me dry anymore.

The point that I am trying to make is that we don't have all the facts yet. The media is irresponsible in blaming Brian for whatever happened to Gabby without actually having all the facts. They are making assumptions based on male and female anatomy. EDIT: nevermind, I just noticed your misandry in your comment history.
/r/MensRights20/09/21 10:26 PM

Actually I'm intimately familiar with false accusations in court, thank you very much.
/r/MensRights20/09/21 10:24 PM

That is a very level-headed response. I agree that it seems to show that from a distance. However the media is being incredibly irresponsible in lambasting Brian for something he isn't proven to have done yet. If he did harm Gabby, then obviously I agree that he is in the wrong, but we don't even know if that is what happened yet.

I trust the police body cam footage showing that Brian had evidence of being attacked by Gabby, a lot more than some random caller. Also Gabby admitted to attacking him in the vehicle on camera.
/r/MensRights20/09/21 10:20 PM

And the police body cam footage confirms that Brian has scratches over him from Gabby attacking him in the vehicle. I would trust the police footage a lot more than a random caller.
/r/MensRights20/09/21 10:19 PM

As far as I know they have not confirmed that it was her body. Source?
/r/MensRights20/09/21 10:04 PM

You just stated an assumption as fact, and then immediately admitted that it's just an assumption.

Stand firm on your demands. DO NOT agree to any terms that are unfavorable to you. My attorney negotiated the most retarded custody terms ever. I wish I had fired him before mediation, but I didn't want to create additional chaos.

That's a brilliant idea ... wish I could realistically do that.

Thanks, brother. I'm already in the hole for $15k in legal fees, and I only see my children once a month for a few hours. If I'm the one who's paying $2,000+ per month, shouldn't I be the one getting the majority of the time with them? WTF dude.

I'm 34. My ex and I weren't married. She stole my two young children (2 and infant) and took them 8 hours away by car. She falsely accused me of physical abuse, and I never touched her a single time in more than 5 years together. None of my ex-girlfriends have ever been physically abused by me either. She moved back in with her parents and now there are four generations of people living under a single household. Her grandparents, her parents, her plus a couple younger siblings, and my two childr…
