Sadly Johnny Depp is someone who now could be justifiably proclaiming ”Me Too”. In solidarity, 🏋️🥊🍻🤝

Good analogy(ies) but I think it's all as challenging to men as 4-D chess much less trying to ever win at the traditional gameboard to which you allude. In solidarity, 🏋️🥊🤝🍻😀

Probably many fine folks here seem to you to be obsessed with taxes is because April 15th was less than a week ago and many of us are probably sleep-deprived [who wouldn't be cranky in that condition?] after staying up all evening fighting with Turbo-Tax and then blindly being required by its algorithm to click OK to all of its arcane questions which were actually motivated by a bunch of corrupt legislators to further cover their tracks and pad their cronies' pockets too. After all that OK'ing u…

Hell yeah! That's a fair question. Since abortion 'rights' were mentioned by the OP, I always wonder about the rights of all those yet unborn female [or male of course] babies to survive and thrive after birth.... I guess in the feminist mind they're just seeking to spare those helpless co-gendered persons from eventual suffering in a world dominated by all those cruel (in their eyes) men. (Of course my conjecture above concerns vital topics&issues about which I care genuinely and compassionatel…

In the immortal words of noted best-selling essayist P. J. O'Rourke (readily available from Amazon or perhaps wherever fine non-echo-chamber insightful books are found [although probably not your local Marxist gyno-vetted public library]) ---- ” Don’t Vote, It Just Encourages the B*stards ”

Quite ”true dat” 💯🎯 I always say that politics is the functional equivalent of professional wrestling for the intelligentsia and academics who think they're smarter & better than the rest of us. I make that analogy with all due respect for the professional wrestlers [men and women alike] toiling away harmlessly at their craft; at least they are demonstrably bona fide genuinely talented athletes, bodybuilders, gymnasts and entertainers who don't anywhere as clumsily stick to the script they've mo…

It's quite noteworthy that you (Salonimo) mention just such a concept of a common constructive basis on which to build. That's exactly what I told the marriage ”counselor” this week: I felt a clear lack of such an ethos well accounted for the need for such a ”therapy” session this week. All the while the Hollywood sickos, so-called 'news' media, feminist squads, and onlookers in the accompanying more-local ”peanut gallery” have all too effectively effectively been swinging the wrecking ball in ea…

My now-deceased after basically becoming just plain worn out dear old Dad used to wisely remind me often that ”you can't win against city hall”; not sure he was nececessarily referring to my fine mother in this context but rather in aggregate to all the prevailing powers-that-be in our lives. On the other hand, we went on lots of fun rides atound town in the family Chevrolet and whenever we happened to pass a church with a wedding procession in front, he would inevitably point at it and with a s…

For some reason the terms ”symbiosis” and ”symbiotic relationship” come to mind from High School biology class back in the early '70s. Hope I'm not too far astray but honestly, dealing with all the feminist misandrists has left me too exhausted to even google it any further.

Darn this Reddit android app. I'll proudly take ownership of anything I write here but for the life of me I frankly can't decipher all the little dotted lines or whatever to figure out to what my reply comment (to which epicrgh seems to have responded) was originally made probably a few days ago. I'm sure the misandrist pack of feminists will just be quick to eagerly chalk it all up to me being yet another 'clueless man' but hey whatever.... like I really care what they do or say. 😃 🥊🏋️

Anyone still reads the New York Times? Not me, sadly our bird died so the floor of his cage no longer needs a liner, fortunately our new puppy is now housebroken so that eliminates that rationale for subscription, and my fishin' pole broke so no catch to wrap. Little wonder it is traditionally referred to in the media biz as the "old grey lady”. Sucks to be them.

In the case of men, I would tend to agree with you. In the case of women, hmmmmm then 'not so much'.

Are we still allowed by the DEI Police 🚨 to use the word ”broad”? No doubt the Reddit algorithm has just now startef some alarm bells ringing somewhere. Yes, it's my day to be cynical. 😃 Thanks.

Slow down, in that casethey might want to retroactively abort the baby boy because it proved to be an inconvenience. And yes I know full well I was making light of the most serious of topics which is the sanctity of life (human and animal) but only as a rhetorical vehicle to take a well-aimed poke at what I also see as all too indicative of contemporary hypocrisy incorporating 'the usual suspects' as dramatis personae. Speaking personally for myself as a self-identified poor sap of a man [referring to the sap attribute as self-dentified while the gender aspect is sufficiently quite evident on its own merits] who also is a big fan of bruins in the aggregate (well OK maybe Chicago sports teams in a tepid way and definitely not the Boston squad of icers)... Hey wait! I wouldn't wish that particular cage situation on either the man or the bear. LOL 🧸 Meanwhile this particular Reddit topic thread has certainly been…

I don't understand the reference to Mike Pence. I of course know he was DJT's VP but I'm missing the gist of the nuance totally. Just curious in an academic way. Thanks!

Yes, quite a dichotomy here! For example I know of one person who is to the left of me politically who feels quite strongly and is seemingly quite agitated over 'the government telling women what to do with their bodies' in the context of the abortion debate yet also views me as some sort of less-than-desirable anarchist for me holding my libertarian views closely and occasionally being (not obnoxiously of course, but not totally tight-lipped) vocal concerning them. I think the MSM of all orient…

I find it noteworthy and curious that this entire largely hypothetical discussion so far seems to omit details of the involved bear's sex either biologically or nowadays I'll even inlude orientation-wise or self-identification status in order to be fully inclusive so the DEI police don't swoop down on me. 🚨 Sometimes ya just gotta laugh or you'll cry. Personally as a humane person, I demand a reassuring disclaimer be included that 'no animals were harmed in this scenario'. 🧸

I think the whole concept of ”entitlement” is too often not only misconstrued and misapplied towards the eventual detriment of all parties involved. Reparations, anyone? There's a clear delineation in bookkeeping between accounts payable and accounts receivable for a good reason.

Now I'm even more confused. Still trying to figure that whole scenario out or at least follow along. We need a guidebook or interpreter or AI or cheatsheet or Cliff's Notes to what's going on in this world --- or something helpful please.

This discussion thread certainly seems to be resonating with many Redditors! Pro or con in each case, that speaks volumes by how markedly polarized we have become on these sorts of gender issues and not necessarily always in a beneficial way to us involuntary (by biology & birth) participants in this thing we call life. The Real problem seems to me to be the lack of viable alternatives for such rhetorical confrontations without immediately devolving into an "eye for an eye" stance [we can see ho…
