Please make sure that you never make her feel like you take her (or having sex with her) for granted. That would turn her off instantly.

I'm actually looking for women who feel well and feminine just as they are, natural. Big plus point to me.

Let's end that cycle. I'm not responsible for what other men did. The women I interact with today are not responsible for what other women did to me in the past.

And what does she do on her side to balance out all of this attention and understanding ? Will she even notice how much care is given to her?

The question is: do you actually want to date this kind of person? Until recently, I thought that it's ok and I (or we, together) could create a safe place. But now I have the impression that it's yet another unhealthy relationship. The sad fact is, it's indeed a very common situation, and just makes it even harder to meet someone fitting for a LTR.

Again, a lot of comments here just saying: "work on it dude!" but not giving a hint about what to work on. I recently realized the same pattern in me. There seems to be a disconnect between how I feel internally and how it is perceived. I'm confident and happy, but other people perceive me as unsure and worried. Also, my posture looks bad. I haven't started working on it yet, but my plan is to film myself in daily situations so that I can get to see myself from the outside. Just looking at yours…

I think we both agree on the importance of respect and keeping social dancing a safe place for all dancers. Can you share actionable advice regarding my question? "Practice more" applies to most questions on this sub but doesn't help when one doesn't know what the ideal action looks like.

The only thing making me look "creepy and cringe" at the moment is that I don't know how to (elegantly) move things further. Hence my question here. This is the more advanced level of the "A girl keeps looking at me, what should I do?" type of question.

A lot of negative comments here. You are not overthinking it. I'm also working on this now. I realized that I'm making eye contact but not really "connecting" with her eyes. When I really do connect with her eyes it feels to me as if I were zooming on her face. (Can't explain it better for now.) And when this happens she has a reaction that I wouldn't get otherwise.

Direct and secure: "I'm from XYZ faith." More indirect and secure: "I've been practicing (religious activity) since (some time ago) and nowadays I notice how it helped me develop (positive characteristic)." Very indirect: Wear some distinctive signs (eg necklace with pendant), or have some related items at your place that she will see when she visits you. Insecure: "Think twice whether I'm still worth your time."

Never frame yourself or your beliefs as a problem. This is who you are, so be proud of yourself. Maybe you can build enough emotional connection and it will be stronger than the differences in beliefs. If your belief is important to a woman, she should ask about it early. Just never lie to her nor try to hide it.

Opposite experience here. Girls who give me their phone number show some investment. Those staying on OLD wouldn't care unmatching after a date without any explanation; happened a few times.

The critical part is how you define "basic body language". To me, in the context of a date, when a woman is just plain neutral in her body language it means that she doesn't want to be kissed. I expect her to give at least some cue that she's open to it. Should I try even when she's neutral? Do you mean that trying to kiss a woman at the end of a date when she has neutral body language wouldn't be "going too far", as long as I don't insist if she doesn't reciprocate ? (I do know what it means to…

I'm in a similar situation and had the same reflection as you. Then I realized it's time to quit the theory. My girl is never initiating, but also almost never declining my dates, and when she does decline then she usually suggests another day. So the way I read it now is that I'm the man and leading the interaction. And she's the woman and opening the door big for the encounter and sex to happen; I just have to walk in. The theory is fine until it starts getting in your way. Know when to break …

I think similar to you. I usually go for a coffee date first. I will pay for us two, even if it's obvious to me that I finally don't (even) want to have sex with her. Now, if she offers to pay I will refuse and she wins a point. If she doesn't offer to pay, I will make a mental note of this and watch for similar patterns in her behavior. That's one way I "test" women. It's not a strict boundary tho. By not offering to pay she is not crossing my boundary and I am not losing frame. But she has to …

Try to go for the kiss on the first date. Worst case she says no and you never meet again - which is no change to the current situation. Then either she kisses or she leaves knowing you were bold enough to act and may want some more on the second date, when she feels ready.

Can you give an outline of your convos? I end up texting over several days to maybe have a date ; then the mood is more of a relationship than sex - and that's not what I am looking for.

/r/seduction19/10/24 08:02 PM

Worst thing: A rather young woman who had made strong eye contact with me seconds before tried to make me feel like a fool for approaching her. A few women are mean, be glad you noticed early and look forward to the next, healthy one.

As a man, I think this is one of these things where we shoot ourselves in the foot (as a community). Edit: for clarification: I mean that we men shoot ourselves in the foot (and actually in all the other men's feet) when we react violently to a woman's lack of interest.
/r/seduction04/09/24 11:37 AM

Solid advice. I get it, but it's the last paragraph I struggle with. Maybe I lack that "this is what I want, this is what you're gonna get" energy.

Can you be more specific about what you did to "set out and get it"? I fully recognize myself in the situation of having a very tiny pool of options which comes down to zero when I add my standards.

The problem nowadays is that living an honest life is not enough anymore. Like you should get a van, travel foreign places and picture yourself on Instagram to attract girls... I get how exciting it is, but that's not what I value and want in my life.

Here are some of mine: When we walk together: Does she follow my lead? Does she walk at my pace or just go ahead? On the first date I always pay. But I will observe whether she has the intention to pay and if she says "thank you" afterwards. I will purposefully talk about a sensitive topic. Do we agree? If not, can she stand facing different opinions? Does she keep agreements? Being 5 minutes late is fully ok, but not showing up or cancelling on very short notice is not.

Ignore the negative comments. Your intuition is good, although it's not a direct causation between social media and self-esteem issues. You're looking for quality and it won't be easy to find. Especially since the women you seek are, per definition, not visible on social media!

I don't get this way of thinking. Like, a company would not hire somebody who wants to switch job? In reality they rather filter out people who are jobless. Many girls (and quite some men) will stay in an unsatisfying relationship until they meet their new partner.

Well, you can try. Just increase little by little the frequency and intensity of the tease. Make sure your teasing can't make her feel bad for real. (If she's already insecure on, say, her weight, then don't play with that topic.) It must be obvious for her that there's no truth in your "mean" statement.

Because the escalation starts way before she's at your place. The TV/movie is just a socially acceptable reason to end up in your bedroom. If she wants to have sex, she will help you with the logistics and avoid making anything seem awkward for you. I assume you live at your parents or in a shared flat. Yeah, and that's because you're trying a combo-trick of making her laugh as an excuse to touch her. It's forced and she will probably notice. Some things I do: when we walk, lead her by pushing/pulling her back; get her attention by touching her shoulder (e.g. in a noisy environment); when pointing at something distant, get close to her, heads close to each other (side by side) and put my hand on her back/opposite shoulder. Visualize a successful interaction. One which went very well and ended up in a lot of good things for you. Try to bring back as many details and especially feelings as possible. Humans are more sensitive to losses than to gains. You just realized you might have lost something. Lucky you, you realize this way before turning 85. Social distancing will not last forever. So chill down, get your mind together and establish which healthy steps can take you where you want to be. Hint: worrying about the present and shaming yourself for your past (in)actions will not help at all.

Provide a more or less valid reason to be alone for a moment and make a move once you are alone. If the girl already wants to kiss or have sex, then she knows what will happen. Basically you have to make the situation safe for her by providing a context in which she can't be labeled as a slut. And always leave a way for her to exit the situation. I'd say: look at her behavior, attitude and values. Do they match yours? Remove pink glasses if any and make a sanity check. Depending on that, decide whether it's a yellow or red flag. - Red flag: stop the relationship. - Yellow flag: address the issue in a constructive way. Explain why it's a problem for you. Set your boundaries. If she makes a drama (typically: becomes aggressive and flips the situation by pretending you have a problem) or if you notice more issues then stop the relationship.

/r/seduction06/05/20 06:31 PM

Women don't want to be a guy's #1 priority. So the fact that you're not stalking them is attractive. It seems like the girls you're chatting with have a few options, but you are somewhere on the top of the list. So when they notice that you don't write, it signals them that they haven't won you over yet. And then they put some more energy to be sure you stay interested.
/r/seduction05/05/20 08:47 PM
4

Yes, she will instantly know that you are interested. It's even counterproductive to try to hide it. You want to have boundaries and values, things which are more important to you than having sex with her. She might feel good for having guys come to her, but (if you have the right mindset) you are not giving her much by doing so. Maybe make the following experiment to experience the difference: Enter a bakery shop. The salesperson will know you're interested in buying something. When they ask yo…
