David Deida, Dr. Glover and Corey Wayne have a common concept that:

  • For the feminine, "trust is lust"
  • If the masculine has good intentions but doesn't follow with action, then the feminine will see this as a failure and loses trust.

I noticed this with my ex. At some point, I decided to exercise at home at least 5 times a week for 15 minutes on top of going to the gym. I mentioned this during dinner at some point. I exercised at home consistently for about 3 months. Then I realized it had some drawbacks and I preferred to switch to another training plan (basically revert to gym only, with some changes there). She was surprised that I "changed my mind" and was disappointed.

I don't see why it is bad to change your opinion and take a better path if needed. In some way, I had the impression that I should not have mentioned my intention, because she took it as a lifelong commitment.

Similar scenario happened as well with a couple of other topics such as food and hobbies. Nothing that had an actual direct impact on her.

My questions are:

  • What will the feminine perceive as a "masculine commitment"?
  • How to manage expectations?

TLDR: How to prevent losing the feminine trust when changing direction?
