I totally agree. Looking at other women while being in a relationship is a huge red flag.

I chuckled. Agreed though!

That's awesome! I love it. And I'm kind of sad when I realise my boyfriend never did that to me. This subreddit made me realise a lot of things. Thank you! :)

Awwwh. Enjoying your own company is the key to a healthy, happy life :)

I dont think it's about buying expensive things. Last christmas, I bought for my boyfriend a limited edition of whiskey - themed Game of Thrones, because I know he loves whiskey and he loves GoT. I also got him a huge teddy bear from Star Wars (he is a huge fan of this as well) - just to make him smile, even though I dislike both GoT and Star Wars. I didnt spend much money on it, but I still think that my gifts were very thoughtful. My boyfriend is rich so he gave me a really expensive necklace.…

It sounds so nice. Please, share more! I'm always curious about HVM behaviours.

It definitely can be love bombing, but at the same time... there are still romantic guys out there, let's not get paranoid. Personally I think the gesture is amazing, and I wish it was more common for men to do things like that. And not only on Valentine's day.

I so agree with you. It's how it should be.

Touché. I need to look at it every day.

Then just let it all go. If they were into you, they would make an effort. Block them. Don't waste your time on men who don't give you their time.

It seems they aren't that much into you. If I were you, I would dissapear from app for some days and see how they'd react. If they still didn't show interest, I would just let it go.

You have to learn that choosing yourself is NOT selfish. It's normal and you never should feel bad for doing it.

What about masturbation?

Yeah, it's a pretty interesting phenomenon. When you show no interest in him, he starts seeing you as a challenge and someone to fight for. It's completely opposite for women - when I see that a guy isn't interested in me, I step back.

I think ignoring them is very effective.

I truly doubt he would do such a thing to me, too. But I was doubting about many things he would do to me, and he did all of them. So who knows.

I was just wondering about FDS opinions on this topic.

I see. I probably will stop using it then. Thanks for advice.

We live in different countries, so there is no chance for it. And he is the richest man I ever met so I doubt he would care that I use it. And for sure he wouldn't think I owe him smth, bc there is nothing to owe.

Yeah but I will never hear it and I truly don't care what his friends or my ex think of me anymore.

I am not hurt anymore or anything tho. I don't think of him while watching Netflix at all.

I was like that when I was a teenanger. All I was doing was watching romantic movies and reading classy romantic books. My head was full of romance. When years passed, i came back to reality. It shall pass with a little bit of time. Give yourself that, and please dont idealise men... There are no such men like these characters from romantic novels..

Yeah i treat it as investing in myself - my education mainly. And sure - you can lose your career, but you will never lose something that you learnt already. It is always with you. So investing in career and education is never a waste, in my opinion.

Oh, I can feel you with this snapping. There was one time in my relationship where we argued really hard and I told him I hate him. Obviously, I didn't mean it. I was just so angry (I don't remember details now). I really shouldn't have reacted like it and I apologised right after I said it. And many many many times after the whole argument. And well, again - he mentioned this "I hate u" extremely often, even if I truly apologised a thousand times. When he was breaking up he said something like …

I was not jealous. The relationship they had was just weird for me. It seemed like his sister was jealous of me and trying to prove me something? I was getting only negative vibes from her. So I told him I don't want to spend time with her. Never told him to limit his time with his sister or anything. I just felt uncomfy when we were spending time in 3.

But won't I seem like bipolar for asking him to be friends one day and blocking him the other day?

Thank you. I got a therapist already, we will start next week. I will read the books. I just don't know how to fix my image in my eyes and in his eyes.

What if I truly believe he is a HVM? I feel like I lost the love of my life and its my own fault.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
