This is interesting. However, I think I need to clarify that these 'good moods' don't bring about more energy, but rather, more confidence and a strong don't-give-a-fuck attitude. Would that change anything. Edit: I've been reading up on hypomania. These 'episodes' don't last for days - instead, they last for five hours at the most.

The more I think about it, the more I think is that it's because I'm actually very fragile emotionally. If one good thing happens to me, or a girl starts showing lots of interest, or whatever, I get into a good, badass mood. But if a stranger walking on the street gives me a dirty glare, I get into an aggressive, antisocial mood for the rest of the day.

Nah, I don't think people really notice. No, I don't need to be doing some kind of activity, for example, just today, I was literally dancing on the street feeling like the baddest motherfucker alive with a smirk on my face. It varies. Sometimes when I get very very little sleep I really start not giving a shit and start saying and doing whatever I want, but sometimes when I get no sleep...I just want to go to sleep.

Body language definitely matters. I think it's the naturalness that you exude when you 'acted cool' that helps you. Check out this post about 'subtext'.
