Let them die alone Oh they are. For every BP sucker that gets latched down as husband #3 there's 2 women that couldn't snag him

True, but how would you decide who's the one to listen to? If a mod or approved poster was available, of course you'd listen to them, but there's more than 100k subd to TRP. The numbers just aren't feasible rn, but I do support the idea on an individual basis.

Very interesting post, thanks for sharing. Though I am curious as to what you would consider a guy with multiple girls that he hooks up with from time to time that he may go out and do stuff with, say dinner or a movie or something that is more classically "a date" but it's rather obvious neither is attached to the other so the girls may be hooking up with other guys but it's just a non-issue. I normally classify this as FWB's but I'm wondering what you would say is different about that compared…

I think this wouldn't be a bad idea. Certainly not an in person thing but it would be a great idea for someone to be there for a younger user that doesn't quite know what to do. But at the same time this might be bad because it centralizes TRP which is one of it's core strengths and tenants, not only can you teach yourself everything that's how it should be done because no one else is gonna do anything for you so get used to it. Plus you'd need to make sure the mentor isn't full of it, so lets s…

I agree but shes exagerating to get sympathy. She just doesnt like that people say "you want to be independent? Fine, heres a whole list of new responsibilities that go along with that" So she yells out a sophisticated version of "misogyny!" and gets people to feel bad for her because having responsibility is hard
/r/TheRedPill08/08/15 06:31 PM

No, she just doesnt want to have to be responsible for herself the way men are. She wants it both ways and she doesnt like not getting her way

I used to work at a summer camp. One of my boy campers came up crying about how he was being treated in a way that made him feel bad about himself. People were being "mean" to him because he was (in my words, not his) too much of a crybaby wimp and had everyone to do things for him instead of doing them himself but on the flip side, the other campers weren't respecting him enough by "treating him like a little kid". I told him, well, you're acting like a little kid. You want other people to do s…

"You're such a special snowflake steven! Your wacky antics while bordering mental retardation because you're so fucking needy and generally useless is exactly what keeps this team of neurotic, unstable, selfish women together and we all LOOOOOOVE you for you! Stay gold Ponyboy!"

How can we win the fight with SJWs when they are so absolutely mentally retarded? It's a war of attrition, not might. You have to give people time.

That's a good point. But I wouldn't say lying, more giving him shit. This is typical of "sassy and unapologetic about it!" girls, which is intolerable to me for any lengthy period but fine for pump and dumping, cause there obviously isn't a long term in this situation.

You're implying he is trying to oneitis this. A little perseverance never hurt. Long as he isn't being whiny and sounding desperate there's no reason to consider this beta, yet. If she flakes again, yeah, bail. But saying something like "you ditched me twice now, either get onboard or gtfo" but in a teasing way and he should be golden.

Ikr? Every single department store Ive ever seen has the same dress code. Khakis and a collared tshirt the same color as the companys logo. Maybe shirt and tie if youre a supervisor. Why? She wore a "career" clothing to a minimum wage, department store job. Thats not a career.

Sent home? It says he asked her if she could run home and change unless it would be too much of a bother. And then she quit. Two whole weeks and she quit, real hard worker there. And seriously, pants and shirts are sexist?

I think you're forgetting one of the core tenants here, that if you have a point, you have a point. Who, what, or where you are doesn't matter if your point is valid. But, I do understand where you're coming from and I agree my mother does have much more experience in this subject than me. But having more "experience" doesn't make you right. She's had several failed marriages already, clearly her "experience" didn't exactly make her any better at this. More importantly, she only has experience a…

This is what women say about betas who try to take charge. Agreed. But he isn't that beta. He's just old school and not entirely aware of how to control the situation. But her obvious frustration in this case shows he's taking charge, like a man should, and it's driving her nuts. I think I'd just as soon wife up a stripper as I would a woman paid to win arguments. I'm with you on this one.

I know it's a losing battle, but if left completely to her own devices she WILL ruin her marriage just like the others. But even the slightest possibility she wakes up from her validation-drunk stupor, for even the shortest amount of time, is better than letting her hamster wheel spin so fast it catches fire. I liken it to building a wall. Sure it's too short and won't stop her but she can't just keep up at a dead sprint like she was before. She has to stop/slow down and take her time to get aro…

I know, but this is family. Someone I'll have to deal with for a majority of my life. On top of that, her life/decisions at least partially reflect on me. Even though it's a lot of work for at most a temporary improvement, it's necessary. She can't afford to throw away another marriage and I can't afford to waste my time dealing with the fallout that would inevitably follow. Preventative action > reactive action.

Im not saying she had an epiphany and changed her ways, but it was a little disruption of the echochamber and it showed. Ill have to have this conversation a hundred times, Im sure, but Im working against over half a century of her acting like this and being rewarded for it. So considering that, a small step is better than nothing

Haha thanks, I always mess that one up. Oh I dont think this is permanent. Hell, Ill bet good money shes back to the way she was in a few days. But if everyone in her life was telling her the same thing I was she would rarely act like that. But people like my sister feed her hamster all the damn time. Men and women are influenced by their surroundings. If her surroundings are shitty women that would tell her hes being a controlling dick and no one tells her otherwise, why would she ever think he…

It just gets her to calm down and listen to what Im saying because before that she was obviously hostile and viewing what I was saying as opposition to her instead of helping her. It is fucking dumb and better to be avoided. But leaving her in an echochamber with my sister is even dumber. For all intents and purposes Im the man with the most influence on the women on my mothers side of the family and I cant just avoid them. As such I cant stand by and let them ruin their lives the way they would…

I dont understand. For an argument with such delusional women, he absolutely came out on top and I believe held his frame fairly well. Yes he backed down on whether he was raped but the women lost and they knew it and they had to say "okay okay, were BOTH right" in order to save face. This is only in the context of parties and as an adjective, not a noun. I don't drink much outside of that unless its a barbecue and Ill have a beer with my steak or something. It's more in the cinematography and background. The women "many mothers" were the only ones that could raise crops. Eventually they failed but it's sort of alluded to be because of the citadel and thats where all the "bad, boy culture" is (i mean they are awful but it's basically feminist male rape culture to hyperbole). "Who destroyed the world?" clearly pointed at the men because the women are asking the question and theyre just trying to bring peace to the land and give birth to sons that won…

She accepted publicly and when she doesn't show up with him, she will be disrespecting him publicly. She chose to get railed by Chad instead of keeping her word to a friend. She should be ashamed because she is a shitty "friend". What's worse is she knows it and only cares enough to try to hide it, not rectify it.

Oh certainly, but on top of everything, Futurama was going for mainstream success. And the masses love the fairy tale ending where everything works out in the end. But the journey is just as important as the destination. But Adult Swim has always been more against the grain than any other channel, I feel.

This is a bad example though. No one did anything when he was getting hit but no one did or said anything when he pushed back and pushed her to the ground. People only stepped in when he started escalating the situation and THATS what pushes people to action. It's the same way when in the schoolyard two kids are fighting no one cares until ones getting his ass handed to him but the other guy won't stop. Except in the second clip. Or maybe you could just raise them properly. You can raise a child in as a wealthy parent to understand how much they have. They may not ever experience it so they don't know exactly what it's like to want for necessities but they can be taught how lucky they are and appreciate it. The "responsible" parents you're talking about are just sheltering their kids and that ruins them.

This is largely an assumption but if it's an investment account it could have a set amount of time that it would need to sit in their or an "early withdrawal" fee would be tacked on. Or even if it didn't have that it would most likely apply taxes to it (assuming they haven't been already) and lose a sizeable chunk. The longer it has to accrue interest the better and interest works sort of like inertia

I'm not a parent, can't imagine being one before the next decade. But one instance was when I got caught driving home impaired affter partying back in high school. My father caught me and proceeded to chew me out about how this sort of thing could ruin my life whether getting caught by authorities or injury or worse. He was fucking PISSED. Because it's essentially propaganda. If she was raped and otherwise tried to go about her life, everyone would hope for a speedy trial and conviction and that she could continue living her life as before. But shes pushing a campaign here, she doesn't want retribution for what happened to her and then try to pick up the pieces. She's become the face of the war against rape on college campuses (true or not) and she crossed the line between administering justice and leading a crusade. On it's own t…

As long as you're respectful, it is usually fine. My father always made sure when he criticized me it wasn't to chastise me or annoy me but to point out my weak points and hopefully make them better. Even if it was a sore spot as long as you say something like "this may come across as derogatory. I don't mean it to be but I can't think of a better way to say it so just keep that in mind" No matter how mad I was I would always at least listen to what he had to say. 99% of the time he was spot on …

I like #3. but yeah I haven't talked to her since then and she already sent me several apologies.
