The worst part is that that guy actually has a beautiful fiancée. Another one of his comments said he's so glad that his fiancée already has plans to stay in shape and diet if/when she eventually gets pregnant and plans to "upgrade her implants" after pregnancy, unlike his friends' wives who "pop out a few kids and get fat." Depends on your values. I have (had) serious self esteem issues and learning to accept myself as I am and not thinking about what procedures I would "need" has helped me tremendously. It's important to me that a potential partner also believes that there's never anything inherently wrong with one's natural self. If I dated someone who is critical enough of their appearance that they had several (!) procedures done it would probably wreck my self esteem.

I've seen her IG and he seems pretty sweet. Obviously you never know but I remember on one post she wrote how sometimes she says "I just want to be normal" and he'll say "who wants to be normal, normal is boring!" which isn't, like, groundbreaking but I thought it was very sweet. Like this isn't a strange interest or quirk, it's a serious condition that impacts both of their lives. Not many people would stay that cheery about their partner suddenly having a serious disability.

I was on a different sub and read two posts from this young woman with an older partner. They sleep with other people (together, not separately). They also have a kid together. She posted about how she caught him making arrangements to cheat on her with a 20 year old (he's 45). I checked her profile and she made a post literally days ago about what a great partner he is.
