It's mostly your self esteem. Be confident in yourself. I'm 5"6, 160lbs, benches 180, squats 235lbs, and deadlifts 335 with a Wilks of about 250. I'm also pretty ugly, but the confidence is more important than the looks.

This guy teaches and does hustle in my area. He used to be a really good bboy too

Well I'm a hip hop dancer (specifically a bboy) and my hip hop is more of a sausagefest. I supposed you're talking about house and hustle?

Do you mean introverts? I'm an introvert myself, the best approach as others have said is to use the indirect approach.

For me it's a combination of trying to stop being the 'nice guy', frustration how I've never been in a relationship let alone touched a woman sexually, and I don't want my parents 'hooking me up' with some girl back home. Also I'm an Asian guy and I'm into white women. Among my social circle it's usually Asians with Asians, which I'm not attracted to Asian girls. (Of course there are exceptions if they look like a k pop star for example)

I fucking love bboying, but I'm taking an interest in Latin and other partner type dances. After exams I'm gonna start!

Do you rather go for the touchdown pass or the sack? That's how I think of it. Why did John Elway, Peyton Manning, or Tom Brady be so successful? Because they knew how to throw.

In summary, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

You'll always get the white girls who say "Oh I don't date asians". You'll also get the white girls who will exclusively date asians, as well as the white girls who are open to it. Alternatively, you'll get the asian girl who only dates white guys, the asian girl who dates only asians, and the girl who doesn't give a shit what race the guy is. Conclusion? You'll never know unless you approach them

Exactly. I'm an Asian guy myself, and people in general perceive us as shy, studious, not confident etc. It's great to see a guy like him break the stereotype per se

Handshakes are fine, in fact it's a good way to break the touch barrier. You definitely don't want to go straight to the top of the kino ladder for example

My question is what really defines "better" guy than you. You may possess qualities she obviously cherishes that the better guy doesn't have

I don't talk to anyone in the gym unless if they are using a machine I want to use. Do it, you'll gain more confidence.

Like you would at any time, see my post on this. Just have some common sense and don't approach them during a set. Wait she is on rest or something

It was just an analogy, I wouldn't approach a 1.

Right now I'm more focused on learning conversation skills, it's probably the weakest part of my game. I don't have a problem with cold approach as much as my conversation skills.

I think that you approach the same way you approach the 1. They are just human beings who got genetically gifted, is how I think of things, compared to a 1 who got genetically fucked.

One thing I've learned about women is that they aren't focused on looks as much as guys do. Good luck OP. And stars and galaxies? Seriously, I want to take that class

I used to feel like you man, then I started lifting heavy and building muscle and it's done world's for my confidence. I'm not exactly the best looking either, in fact I'd consider myself pretty ugly. But the gym gave me great confidence.

I agree. Personally I do all my approaching NEAR the gym environment, specifically in the lobby area. Usually I have my pre workout supplement there and whenever I see an attractive girl I approach. I need to wait about 30 mins for the pre workout to kick in anyway. But in the gym in concentrated on making gains.

Me too man. When I'm bored on the shitter, I tend to fap, thats why I turned to tinder, so I could do something different other than fapping.

My philosophy is that I don't approach when girls have headphones on. It's a sign they don't want to be bothered.

I live in Ottawa, ON, Canada and most of the girls I see by speak only French. But most of them are SMOKING HOT, too bad I can't speak French. But I'm learning :P

Have a normal ass conversation, and when you get to the climax of the conversation, ask her out. Usually a climax is when she's laughing and/or there's an obvious vibe in the conversation.

"no. why should i?" is usually my response.

I've been sheltered my entire life. I'm in college now, leading my own life. I'm also very, very introverted which contributes to me being very passive. I'm in first year, and last semester I found myself in the friend zone most of the time. I had that mentality I must get to know her well before I was obliged to ask her out. This lead to the friend zone mentality. But there are advantages to being in the freindzone. Winter semester came along, and I strived to get a date. I decided to ask a few…

Lift. Makes me feel better. Nothing like a good workout in the gym. And the Ladies appreciate a dude that takes care of himself. But I'm not big, I'm mostly toned. Some girls I know are intimidated by the huge powerlifters and bodybuilders in the gym.
