No, stocks are a gamble. I work in the (private) education sector. I basically sell the dream of "improving yourself" to people who believe anyone can learn anything. Suckers. Most don't even realize that people who get into Harvard/Oxford/MIT etc. are already good to begin with. They have the "right stuff". Ultimately you will have to compete with these people anyway. If you have fewer people to deal with, there will be less industrial waste and less of everything (that pollutes the planet). Avoid medical issues and legal trouble, wherever possible. They can drain your bank accounts faster than a wife and kids. Most people have absolutely no idea how much decent medical care and legal representation can cost. Until it hits them. And no, doctors and lawyers don't care if you were a good father, husband or son. Well, if she can get a judge to believe that, her claims on him would probably be phenomenally more.
