I'm not sure, if you've got strong text game you can turn a potential flaker into a strong first date. If you get the impression she's v interested, then yes, I totally agree. Be direct. But someone you met in a bar is more likely to take more tentative steps before seeing you again. Definitely a good call on the "I'm not much of a texter" line though. Top work.

It's not hard, men are far easier to approach as a straight guy because approach anxiety isn't a problem.
