That's purely subjective. I could be offended that some man is interrupting me during class or while viewing art.

This is not necessarily true. There is conflicting evidence based on the methodology (forced choice vs continuous) used in the questionnaires. The interesting results come from what happens with homosexual respondents. Meta Analysis here

Don't be too hard on yourself. Men and women make friends differently. I find that guys can be friends pretty easily. They can just hang out and do nothing together. Female friendships require a lot more work. Ironically, it seems that women vet their friends harder than they vet their men. Ever notice how women will have a female friend who done ONE thing wrong or have a single misunderstanding and it's over? But her boyfriend can treat her like total trash and she will stick with that chode th…

MEN DESTROY FURNITURE. They just do. I have no idea why. If you have nice stuff you have to watch men like a hawk. It's insane. C*mstains on comforters, broken sofas, water rings on wood, scratches on bookshelves when they volunteer to "move" furniture by sliding a wood bookshelf across a wood floor. No logical system for doing laundry to make clothes last. Don't even get me started on mildew. Inviting a man in your home is a practice in damage control. They mess up so much stuff. I am kicking m…

I know!!! I used to plan his outfits for him and line them up in the closet. I would also cook for him and pack his lunches. I was such a pickmeisha back then. So embarrassing.

I think in any terminal degree grad program, the women will be much more HV than the men. Like another commenter said here, I come from a medical family (father-doctor, mother-nurse) and all of my dad's partners are divorced. EVERY.SINGLE.ONE. Most of them turned out to be pigs. I have dated a handful of doctors/med students and hung around all their dude friends. A lot of these guys are (oddly) cheap. And most use their education to excuse acting like a weirdo. They think because they went to s…

I feel the same way. But my family is so thirsty for me to have an SO that they automatically extend an invite to whomever I'm dating. They have even bought plane tickets and hotels for two of my ex boyfriends to fly with me back home. Only for me to be broken up with before the flight even happens!! When will they learn? I have never had the family of an ex treat me as well in return. I think my family pickmeishas...

This is going to be a really unpopular opinion..but... I kind of like that these subs exist. It makes it easier to weed out the scrotes. I'm all for letting them wave their scrote flag high in the air.

I really hope OP reads all these success stories. There is NO reason she shouldn't go for it. It's a long hard road, but so rewarding! And we have NOTHING to lose. We should absolutely value our time we put into academics, our careers, and our skills. I've also found that as I've progressed in my knowledge and expertise I have been able to determine "high achieving LVMs" from "high achieving HVMs" with better accuracy. I used to think if a man is dedicated to his career and making money, then su…

Yep. He was getting me to move to Erie PA while he was in DO school (no proposal). This was after he failed a year and he was swapping nudes on tinder. I said fuck that and was accepted into 7 PhD programs. So I got to choose to live in the city of my dreams instead of following some cheating loser (who was barely hanging on in medical school) across the country. He's reached out to me crying when he had issues with his competency during rotations as well. Screw that. I realized I'm a much more …

I had a guy invite me over for a dinner. When I pressed for more details he said "you'll see." He then proceeded to reheat thawed stew his mother froze for him. I watched him eat and and told him I was taking myself out for sushi.

Thanks for sharing! As you progress while reading the comic you can see how easily women the "household manager" gets pigeonholed into the "total nag" trope. It's a no-win situation :(

Ughh I've had to deal with this, but in a much less sexualized (almost anti-sexual?) way as a Jewish woman are portrayed. I always have to think about the way I convey health concerns "like maybe we should be wearing a helmet?" or realllyyyy careful about overtipping to not fit into a stereotype. :( One time one of my exboyfriends (psychiatrist)- mid make out sesh- asked me to impersonate one of his super anxious Jewish patients...while I was topless! It was so degrading.
