Is this an open call? I just got back from the doctors and I need to make some rather drastic changes or I am going to be in a very similar situation as UsernameIWontRegret.

As a suggestion, the movie Revolver tackles this issue. I found it to be a great primer on what the ego is, and how it moves us.

That would have to be dollars, because 800,000 yen floats around 8,000 bucks these days.

I would like for you to read this book and then we can talk more on the subject: http://www.amazon.com/How-We-Decide-Jonah-Lehrer/dp/0547247990 A good primer to read before this book follows: http://scitechdaily.com/role-of-the-frontal-lobes-in-reasoning-and-decision-making/

We actually have an entire lobe of our brain dedicated to making informed decisions outside of base instincts. Both are equally powerful. You need to understand that TRP is a lifestyle choice, not a be-all end-all way of living. It works for you. Great. Doesn't mean it works for everyone.

Just picked up this audiobook after reading your comment. Been looking for solid redpill reading to introduce myself to the core concepts. Thanks for mentioning this.

I know how to read, and I'm proficient at it. I suffer from a disability that limits the length of time I can read before the words begin to jumble up and I begin to lose the ability to retain what I read. Medication and practice helps, but only to a certain extent. Thanks for the input.

Owen was born with female genitalia Owen has never had surgery to add necessary male genitalia Owen has only had a breast reduction Owen identifies as a male I am unsure how I can be more clear than this.

When I said male, I meant sex male, not gender male. Do not mistake her gender choices and what I have referred to her by as anything short of her decisions and a respect for them. She was a female by sex. Born female, raised female. Later in life, she made an active choice to adopt a different gender. No matter how much you make the argument to a nigh club owner, if you walk up with a beard, a hoodie, and mustard stained pants and call yourself a 'woman by gender', then demand entrance to his c…

I am unsure what the technical terminology is for it, but Owen was born female, but identifies as a male. Owen insists we call her "him, he, himself" etc. Owen has not had any medical surgery save for a breast reduction, to make his physiology come more in line with what he identifies as. Anyways, I chose to post here because of how absurd most people would think it to be if a male did this. Could you imagine if I went around insisting to everyone I be called she, her, and herself, then when som…

Again, this person only identified as a male. Biologically and medically, save for a substantial breast reduction, Owen was in all ways female. In the end, I opted to stay home and play video games while the others went out to the club, and Owen left back home a few days afterwards. I was told Owen got free admission for being a lady.

If I am intoxicated, and she is intoxicated, does this mean she raped me too? I don't think your logic follows.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
