I once dated a guy who asked me “where do your emotions go?” Because I maintained my composure and didn’t scream profanities at him when something upset me (which is how he handled things)

His math is so stupid. Why is he measuring it by 208 weeks to determine and not just around 200 guys as she previously claimed? And just simply multiplying the 200 by the number of thrusts to get a more accurate number. The rounding 7.3 to 7 is so unnecessary and makes his final result much less precise. It makes no sense to calculate how many guys she is sleeping with per week when she gives an estimate on the total number. Additionally if he thinks even half of those 20 year old dudes were las…

Gotcha. I definitely saw some protests where women were wearing similar tape over their mouths recently so that’s what I thought it was referring to. That’s a very messed up message to send your daughters.

I think it’s actually a statement against domestic violence but I could be wrong.

I mean I completely do the strut once I’ve met the dude, and we are on a date or whatever. Just when I’m by myself and I know I could be meeting someone new like a singles bar then I try not to.

Oh I know, it grinds my gears. I’m not going to be a watered down version of myself for anyone. But consider the fact that you have to get that first date before you can show them what you’re really made of. Otherwise you could just be any old pickmeisha in a bar.

I just try to keep my face and posture relaxed. I don’t do the “strut” of confidence when I am walking. In bars I simply don’t dress to my “full potential” (instead of a body con I wear something low key like jeans and fashionable blouse, regular makeup instead of full glam). I save the sexy clothes and dresses for when they actually ask me on a date rather than when they first meet me. Be easy to find, but hard to keep.

I agree with this. The hardest part about being a really confident woman is that most men can’t match it, and the ones that can are 9 times out of 10 some self describe alpha (aka sociopath) who think they’re god and that all women should bow to them. You probably emit a strong vibe of confidence just in how you carry yourself and others can sense it before you even speak (which is awesome). My best advice would be to try to tone this down just a teeny tiny bit, at least until you have met someo…

Totally agree with this. I need to be able to check of the basics: education, employment, non smoker, no kids, etc

I’m gonna go off on a limb and say they are doing it to boost their own egos

This is the most true thing ever. I am definitely...conventionally attractive? And when I have dated guys who are not attractive they are SO MUCH WORSE than hot guys. Way more jealous and controlling, way more victimizing, way more verbally abusive, picking fights for no reason, being terrible and selfish in general. It’s ridiculous! Like y’all know you CANNOT be affording to act like this on top of being ugly?? And to add the cherry on top they usually have terrible hygiene.

I once dated a very attractive and successful guy who ended up cheating on me so I lowered my standards to a much uglier (and poorer) guy and he ended up treating me a hundred times worse than the first guy.

My ex totally used to do this shit. He would behave atrociously, start an argument, and then say “sorry, but I’m just an asshole and you knew that.” I don’t know if this type of manipulation has a name but it’s disgusting.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
