The responses in this thread are top tier. As a man unfortunately you do have to have it all, and it sounds like he has the financial/looks and not the social. I'm in a similar boat as the guy, my social skills aren't great and I don't go out much due to running a business. But when I do go out, more often than not I do end up meeting women that are reciprocal.

Yeah I've never cried in the face of adversity - I can take pretty much anything life throws at me in the moment surprisingly well. So I make a lot of money for my age (mid 6 figs and I'm 24) and run two businesses. I bust my ass to build a better future. I do help my current gf out and do tend to pay for things we do. But whats annoying is my current gf works part time, stresses out about that, then watches netflix and smokes weed a majority of the time. Try it, buy him some book, conduct a grace period, if it still doesn't change and its a serious concern to you, dump him and find a man who can fuck. As a guy whose in a relationship with a girl who did hookup in the past, yeah it can be hard for a guy to deal with. Its mostly ego though, I may have hooked up with more women if I wasn't with my ex so long (3 years). It sucks, but you can find a guy whose ego isn't out of control or understands the past is the past - but in you're instance its not like you even hooked up with anyone so that shouldnt be a problem at all.

Yeah but what do you even do to meet these women? I work a full time job and run a business. If I was single, idk where I'd meet women besides the bar or dating apps. My main hobby is martial arts and guitar. Aside from just chilling in coffee shops, hanging around college campuses, dance classes or yoga classes, I have no clue how to meet women.

This is actually a great self improvement post in general.. when I started self improvement I started because I wanted to change the perception of what others thought about me.. now I do it for myself. The days when I work on my business and make the average persons weekly pay in a day, the hard nights at kick boxing or jiu jitsu, the lonely nights reading and playing guitar, or going out by myself.. those are the most character shaping moments of my life

I've realized that the less texting you do the better. 50% of the texting I do with girls I'm pursuing is logistics. Literally 50%. The other is small talk about interesting stuff we've both been doing. Texting can kill attraction quick and I have grown to prefer being a bit more distant and working on myself when we're not hanging out irl

Selfies dont work. You need a very good phone or a stand alone camera. I get a decent amount of matches but I have pictures of me being adventurous and seperate pics of me going out to exciting places with a group of friends, with great views. Being shredded is a good substitute.

I'm slowly moving off dating apps into the real world.. I get a lot of matches and have some decent pictures, it's just, really nothing has been coming out of it. It's also a game where you have to spend a lot of time on finding good places to take pictures (i usually take 80-90 and use the best 1 or 2), and overall deal with a lot of flakiness and rejection even after getting matches. At least if a girl doesn't like you in person she can say she has a boyfriend, or just flat out reject you.

Can't believe this hasn't been said a single time but.. If you're struggling financially buy a flat weight bench ($45 on amazon) a dip stand ($55 on amazon) and some adjustable dumbells ($100ish on amazon) and just run a bodybuilding routine. You don't need to be benching 315 or deadlifting 500+ to get a good physique. Better then quitting altogether and you have no monthly/yearly payment. For every barbell exercise you can substitute it with the dumbell variation.
