If you were mugged there’s motivation for money Jumping is either motivated by the want to mug you afterwards, some kind of verbal or physical altercation beforehand, or potentially gang initiation for the person doing the beating. There are very few cases where men are verbally harassed, almost never sexually, and regardless I think you’re missing the point, it happens so much less to men than it does to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 04:34 PM
1

Well that makes more sense because there’s motivation at the very least.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 04:31 PM

No I don’t find it hard to believe that men experience violence, if you would have said “yeah homeboy stopped me, suckered me and took my wallet.” I’d be way more inclined to believe you. But rando just says “I’m gonna beat your face in” (words that no one fucking says) and then ?? Didn’t?? Weird.

You were literally saying I said words I didn’t say, I’m just saying “this is what I think he wants out of this”

Gotta tell ya bud, I might read this tomorrow but I’m done for the moment.

That’s not putting words in your mouth, that’s questioning your motives.

Where am I doing that?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 09:09 AM

Whatever dude you know what you’re doing. I’m not saying men don’t experience violence, you’re shoving words in my mouth. I just think you made that story up for your point. I’ve literally had men stop me and kiss me on the mouth. Sorry that’s not serious enough for you because I wasn’t axe murdered. Sorry you would rather deal with that then your own made up scenario.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 09:08 AM

It’s not a misunderstanding, he’s putting words in my mouth for his agenda, so he can say “yeah women think nothing violent ever happens to men”
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 09:01 AM
0

So quote it. Where did I say you’ve NEVER experienced PHYSICAL VIOLENCE.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 09:00 AM

Yeah I didn’t, he’s exaggerating. I said no person he had no prior interaction with randomly told him “I’m going to beat your face in” out of nowhere. “I was just walking down the street and a stranger stopped me and told me he was going to beat my face in, and the subsequently, did not beat my face in.” Didn’t happen to him.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 09:00 AM

So where did I say you’ve never experienced physical violence again? Go ahead and throw me a quote.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 08:58 AM

But are those crimes as frequent as women getting harassed? I no absolutely zero men in real life who would say “I can’t walk there it’s too dark out” but 90% of women I know would. Yeah there’s a chance for men and women to both be victims of violent crime, maybe it’s more common for men to be victims of violent crime, but women are way more likely to be victims of A CRIME.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 08:57 AM
2

Yeah I am mad? So? I don’t get to be mad when people are acting like I’m overreacting to harassment? You’re probably one of the cat callers that’s why you’re so adamant.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 08:54 AM
1

So almost every time you go out at night that happens to you? Because it’s been maybe twice that I haven’t had some dude say something to me if there was any kind of activity on the street. I hope you wake up with a pair of tits tomorrow you fucking liar
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 08:50 AM
3

I’m glad.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 08:48 AM
1

I’m not talking about the same kind of violent crime in the first place? You’re talking about getting beat up and getting mugged which is way less common than sexual harassment. And women aren’t more fearful for no fucking reason, we can’t go toe to toe with men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 08:48 AM
2

Yeah you’d rather hear nice tits until it’s every single time you go out alone and the car stops at a red light and you have to walk past it and they pretend to open the door because they think it’s funny that you’re scared. Fuck right off, you have no idea what it’s like and you never will. You have never had a stranger randomly tell you “I’m going to beat your face in” And please look at your username before you ask me to start sourcing in a causal conversation I don’t care. If you care so bad…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 08:46 AM
1

Women are literally told by their mothers and their mothers before them not to walk alone at night. You can’t statistic your way into making women feel safe doing so when we know from experience that is isn’t safe, but when my boyfriend does it he has never even once had an issue. Sorry you live in an area so fucking god awful that strangers jump you for absolutely no reason lmao, literally move.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 08:41 AM
1

And when have you been randomly jumped? Acting like women don’t get jumped or mugged. Lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 08:31 AM
-1

Do you think maybe men are more likely to be victims because women don’t walk alone at night? Insane thought. And men told tend to talk shit to other men randomly. And if they did, a man yelling out the window “you’re ugly” to a man is different than yelling at a woman “nice tits” but I’ve never heard of the former happening.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 08:31 AM
0

In what way are men harassed that women aren’t. And it’s 4 am I’m not looking through statistics to tell you that people target the weak. And idk where the hell you live but walking at night where I live is not THAT dangerous but you almost 100% will get gross comments from men as a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 08:16 AM
-1

? Men and women will both get robbed, but women are more likely to be causally sexually assaulted or harassed than anyone is to be robbed. No it’s not perfectly safe for anyone, but the casual nature of harassment of women is what’s the issue. And women are typically weaker physically and more likely to be targeted.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 08:06 AM
2

Well most women don’t report getting slapped on the ass or groped my friend, no offense. You just say fuck you and shake it off. I didn’t report when this dude forced himself on me because I wasn’t raped and I new the cops were gonna do anything about it, because here first time someone sexually assaulted me they did nothing about it.

You know I’m sure this isn’t what you want to hear because most men don’t. Sometimes people fall out of love. That doesn’t mean you did anything wrong, maybe you don’t need to thing of this in terms of pills. If you once loved someone it’s hard to let go because you feel like there’s a chance you’ll get that spark back, or at the very least you don’t want to hurt them, but it’s pointless to waste any more of your time or theirs. As someone who was a sex worker, no. It’s really a “no other option” job MOST of the time. I just hope that I can raise my children with enough income to take care of them in adulthood if they still need it and I want to make sure they know they can tell me if they need money and not be embarrassed or have to worry about it being held against them. I wouldn’t be ashamed of them and I would support them if they chose to do so, but it can be a very dangerous job. Sex workers often help those who a…

Just show me some attention. Like if I’m with 3 women and you’re polite to everyone, but you’re only flirting with me, it’s so nice. It just makes you feel special and pretty and funny and smart. Edit: to whom ever commented “so beating other women attracts you to men” and then immediately deleted it Beating them at what? Being liked? I mean yes. If someone is flirting with other girls in front of me I’m not going to let them fuck me 😂

Yeah I was giving my personal experience as evidence, but like the obvious evidence is that of differing hormones and their effects on libido. I mean even FTM trans men talk about becoming incredibly horny once they start taking T.

Well I didn’t say that you said women want sec more than men. I said I want to have sex less than men. No one said anything about women wanting to have sex more than men, so I don’t know why you brought it up.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/20 10:50 AM

Untrue, I want less sex than men. It doesn’t matter how attracted I am to them, they want to have sex way more than I do lmao.

But you don’t know that you can’t prove a negative? I shouldn’t even have to explain that. It’s common knowledge. Like google it? I don’t know what else to do for you baby.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/20 03:49 AM

Then you don’t understand very basic rules of science, and that isn’t my fault.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/20 03:16 AM

But that’s just NOT proving that there IS variation. You wouldn’t be proving that there isn’t variation beyond a reasonable scope. You could potentially say “well it’s still possible, even if this study didn’t prove it”, but if it was proven that there is variation, you could not honestly say “even though we replicated this experiment multiple times and there was variation, it is possible that there is zero variation in oxytocin release levels in repeated activities.”

You definitely don’t need a woman to be happy. Relying on a partner for happiness isn’t healthy anyway, but you also don’t have to resent women. If for nothing else but your mental health. It doesn’t hurt anyone but you to stay hurt.

I don’t know about that.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/20 11:44 AM

You have the right to do that, you don’t need my forgiveness lol. But I don’t think you really choose to love someone.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/20 11:35 AM
1

I don’t know, maybe men and women are fundamentally different and it can’t be helped, but I don’t think of love and sex as completely related, but I also don’t think of it as completely unrelated. I think love can exist without it, but it is a way of showing love and confirmation of love.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/20 11:13 AM
1

I don’t think love has to go both ways for it to be real. I loved my best friend for 10 years, but she turned out to be straight and then stopped being friends with me because her boyfriend didn’t like me (long story short, he was a Twitter liberal who called all of her friends bitches for not agreeing with him and it was annoying) but I think it was love. I never really thought about her sexually, but when we did vaguely sexual things like masturbate together or kiss, I was excited. I think it …

Knowing that it’s a chemical reaction doesn’t make it not valid though right? Taste is just a chemical reaction to make you want to eat so you don’t die. It still exists.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/20 10:20 AM

I think a lot of people don’t want to believe in love because it’s difficult to find and once you do, you get 70 years of it if you’re lucky. Then it’s just gone, and you have to just wait for it all to be over or find it in something else. But it won’t be the same. Which is scary and none of us know if it will be worth it or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/20 10:16 AM

I still believe in it. Even when I cannot see it.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/20 09:59 AM

I think this question really gets to what’s wrong with a lot of people in this sub. Men aren’t evil and women aren’t evil, inherently. But this is how we phrase this, in the negative. Maybe I’m a fag but y’all gotta learn how to love a little

Well I’ve slept with 1 person and I’m not close to stable as of right now. That’s not me being “uwu quirky mental illness” I’m just saying most of the women I know who are the most mentally ill dont have sex very much at all for obvious reasons. And most of them have paternal issues. Idk I’m getting off Reddit for the time being but I’ll try to return to this later.

I’m just causally using Reddit right now and I didn’t want to write a full essay but I didn’t want to ignore you since it’s a long post. I’ll try to get back to this later, but I didn’t include religion because I just think religion is bad and that’s a pretty polarizing argument we’re no one is going to find common ground if you disagree.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/20 07:55 PM

I just completely disagree. I’m not a high value woman. I don’t do any of these things because I think it’s what men like, it’s just me living day to day, as I think all people should. Living to make yourself more appealing to other people is so sad and difficult and boring. I agree that people are wage slaving but I have a feeling that you and I are going to disagree heavily on the why so I’m just going to avoid it to avoid changing the subject. Yeah I don’t think that’s super uncommon. Maybe most women don’t want to be stay at home moms, and you know what I’m going to level with you and say IF THATS WHAT YOU WANT, LIKE EVERY SINGLE OTHER PERSON, YOU HAVE TO FIND A PERSON WHO ALSO WANTS THAT, INSTEAD OF EXPECTING ALL WOMEN TO HAVE THE SAME LIFE GOAL AS YOU. You know I wonder that too, I did two years of a music major with a focus on vocal pedagogy and I didn’t learn anything about what body types have to do with voice types. I learned a little about face shapes and what that effects but that’s bones, not weight. A lot of people who are bigger seem to have that very full rooted sound. It might have something to do with your diaphragm muscles having to be stronger if you’re carrying around more weight, but that’s just a straight up guess.

But the question isn’t “are white women close to being treated like black slaves” (a sentiment I don’t agree with by the way) The question is “are white worried WORRIED about being treated like black slaves and is that why white feminism exists.” Whether or not it’s a valid concern is irrelevant.

Look I’m not gonna argue whether slavery was worse for one gender or another because that’s like comparing the holocaust to slavery like both are awful and you probably could compare them somehow but it serves no purpose but to invalidate one. Also it’s not what we’re talking about. We’re talking about whether or not white women are worried about being treated like black slaves. Obviously there were both male and female black slaves, so what is the point you’re trying to make?

Georgia, yeah always small towns. In a college town now. Men choose, when accept or reject for the most part. My friends and I are mostly bi or lesbians (just theatre major things) and only really started dating women when we got to college because parents. We’ve noticed that we take a lot longer to actually ask women on a date or ask her if she wants to kiss, fuck, etc. because we’ve all been so used to men making the first move our whole lives. Two women waiting for one to make a move is so ex…

I mean yes most people have sex with more than one person and there’s obviously overlap, I just mean that women don’t all like the same types of guys. I think the reason is probably just that it’s a social norm that the man instigate sexual encounters and that’s just harder to drum up the courage to do than saying sure I’ll do that sounds good.

Hey I want to make it clear that I don’t think there’s anything wrong with casual sex, i just can’t do it. I don’t think I’m “not like other girls” or better than other girls. I’ve followed incel subs for a long time because it’s really interesting to me so I know it’s a diverse crowd. Idk why so many men don’t have sex but I guarantee it’s not that women are a hive mind who only fuck the same 4 guys lol

I agree that white feminism is shit, but I don’t really see what you’re saying. I could maybe be convinced but I feel like this isn’t saying everything you mean. Like yes I think women don’t want to be treated like slaves, but women were once treated like slaves. Like they were literally property, at least in some places, I’m not sure about the history of women all over the world. But like slavery as a concept is bad, I’m not exactly sure that it hasn’t anything to do with black slavery in parti…

Well we don’t actually know how attractive the women in this study are. Maybe they’re much better looking than the men who messaged them after they were rejected. Sometimes people don’t just get rejected because they’re unattractive. Let’s look at some facts(? Kinda) for fun They’ve been rejected by someone they’re interested in. They’re (most likely) in a bad mood because rejection tends to do that. Someone new who they are uninterested in messages them, and they are (according to the study, me…

No I didn’t assume you’ve never been poor or that you look down on poor people. I also thought it was funny, and I don’t look down on people poorer than me. I also get the thing about it obviously being a personal issue. I live in Georgia and idk out of wedlock children for UMC’s isn’t really uncommon in my experience so I didn’t really see the truth in that, maybe it’s different elsewhere. I am not making a judgement on you of being classist, because idk I just don’t make judgements of people’s…

Poor people get abortions and drink vodka during the day too, but rich people don’t really ever live in trailers. Idk it was just a joke like I really regret this conversation. I think that there are two real root problems here. I’m from Georgia where this happened so maybe My experiences only relate to the south but maybe not. Cops are told that they should be absolutely ready to die every day and that their job is so important and scary and whatever. And like yeah it can be, but when it’s drove into your brain every day that you should absolutely be scared because someone is PROBABLY GONNA KILL YOU, you are gonna be more trigger happy, especially if you’re not traine…

Oh well that makes sense. If you’re rejected by someone you’re interested in and then someone you’re not interested in messages you, you’re gonna be heated thinking that’s all that’s available to you. One of my biggest fears is being disfigured. Like I’m fat now, but that could change. Even if it’s hard or expensive I could look like my best possible self potentially. I have a lot of problems rooted in my unhappiness with my body but I’m not deluded enough (yet) to think I don’t look at least normal because, in my opinion, my face is pretty and I can do makeup really well and look really nice. Having that taken away would be really hard. I don’t think that I could handle comments people would…

Just the idea that children might be scared of my appearance is enough to make me end it. Knowing that I’d never be able to feel good about my appearance again unless I was in complete delusion and the best I could hope for is “regular ugly” and even that was far fetched. Idk I hate saying that because I know she is a real person and I’d hate for her to see that but I doubt she’s on this of all subreddits.

Asking a partner to satisfy your kinks and them “abusing” you, isn’t capital A abusive to me. The word abusive, at least to me and I think most people, is a negative.
