This is really helpful, and I think that's something I'm still working on. In terms of self-esteem, like many high-achieving women, I have a really high sense of self-efficacy but not the same level of self-worth.

This is so real. My brother is the same age as me (late twenties) and he went through a couple girlfriends while we were in college. Once while we were drinking together, he said he was so afraid he wasn't going to find anyone because he knew he didn't really love any of the women he'd dated. At the time, I was horrified, but now I understand. Sure enough, a few years later while he's dating someone, he meets with woman of his dreams in grad school. He drops his current girlfriend like a hot pot…
