I don't really want to ruin my wifes life. She did that on her own. I do want to ruin that guys life and I will once all of this is over and my wife/kids are long gone from that neighborhood. He's a little bitch. My purpose is the kids, the gateway to them is money and my career. Retaining my hard earned money to keep me stable for them, so I can buy them whatever they want and keep them happy and in a stable home. Hopefully my wife does the same on her end and doesn't want to take my cash to do…

She likes to think I'm that way. I think there's some weird oedipal concept at play - wanting me to become her dad who is a piece of shit. In many ways she brought out the worst in me, but I'll leave the insane murdering/snapping to the neighbor guy she sucked off. Not that I haven't wanted to put a round in his skull, but I get the consequences might suck.

At the time, admitting I'm human to level with her.. back when I was trying to reconcile. But in hindsight she didn't have to know at all. Just used it against me. Glad at this point she knows though. Maybe it will fuck with her 😂

I never cheated. I admitted to having a crush on a close friend, but that friend A) doesn't know and never really will, and B) lives 2k miles away. Plus I'm not a cheater. She just sucks. Yes our relationship had issues before this. But she really fucked herself at the end.

In time. Waiting for my wife to leave the neighborhood first, then, somehow, the wife will find out. I think the guy my wife fucked is not only disgusting, but also mentally insane. Couldn't live with myself if he went psycho and killed her or my kids. He's not a stable guy. My STBX knows how to pick em lol.

Because we're not contesting things. We're going to do this as a divorce contract/agreed upon set of rules. She has no money to afford a lawyer and sees the value in not making this hard. I'm letting her have the house for now and a bunch of other things - so it's a pretty fair trade. We also both have nukes on each other other, so rather than mutually assured destruction, it's better to work together in a business sense.

Not ready yet I guess... I need to see if I can get past this with time. There's a lot of history and still a lot of good in her. We have counselling soon, and it's a very data driven guy, not religious or woowoo

She has nothing, no job. So no need for a lawyer unless it's uncontested and we write up a divorce contract in this state. I don't want to pursue that yet until I speak with a counselor. The mother of my kids deserves 2nd chance and if it doesn't work she deserves to be, in their eyes, strong and uplifted. It's the only way the kids will survive this and not take it on the chin like it's them who are getting divorced from us.

Powerful advice. Thank you. I am not sure what makes me happy anymore. I've been cloudy for months. People say be stoic, that's not for me. They also say enjoy being single. I have plenty of money and will, even after budgeting a generous amount for child support (they are my kids after all) but I am no longer interested in the things I can buy, lately I've been interested in the relationships I can form and the meaningful interactions I've had. Even with my wife, it's all I want. She still ma…

Intimate and maybe inappropriate question. How did you move on with a new woman? Or just in general open up and be intimate? It's not what I want. Infact I'm on the stupid dating sites out of grief, frustration, and validation if anything. I just want the woman that WAS my wife years ago back even though she may be dead and gone and this new person inhabiting her body is here trapped inside. It sucks.

I disagree - he was behaving like an animal. I've had plenty of thoughts of fucking another woman. It's fantasy. Porn. etc. I would have never acted on it, and it's animalistic to FEEL those things, but it's human/societally right to not act on those things. I cant agree he was being a man. He was being a predatory animal.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
