Yeah, I would think so. I'll find a way to get into a positive mindset. The only way I can think of is being with friends but they seem to never have time.

Can you direct me to his post? I don't know how I'm going to feel better. Yesterday, for example, I felt great and I was definitely feeling like I was on the road to recovery and it'd be quick, so I hit the gym (been hitting it for 5 years but I'm in a slump right now) and then right after the depression just came back. Woke up, had the shittiest day ever. Not sure what I can do besides wait.

Yeah, I tend to not stare down guys in general, unless I'm gonna say hi.

Yeah I got you. I guess tomorrow I'll just ask her if she's taking Chem, and then ask her to study with me so we can help each other out. YOU GOT ME?

Oh we have already talked before. I'm assuming attraction.

Don't do it, OP.

Makes a lot of sense. These are all great tips, now it's just getting over my approach anxiety so that I can apply them.

I'll work on it. Today I managed to have a 10 minute conversation with a girl that worked at my gym. Shows that I can at least hold a short casual conversation, now what I need to work on is approaching, stop being in my head and actually speaking my mind and being fun/flirty. I hope I can do that.

I've been hitting the gym harder, working on myself physically, trying to be more social with my family and friends, getting out more. I've done everything to improve myself except approach.

I'm not sure. I really, really want it but I'm just scared to do it alone. I guess I just want somebody to push me in real life, but then I feel like I'm leaning on them. Is it a good idea? Have somebody behind me telling me to do it?

Nicely said, I'll figure something out. I'll probably hit up a club with 1-2 friends soon and maybe take the first, huge step then.

Yeah man, but the problem is that I can't even walk up to them and say what I want to say. Maybe it's my mindset. I usually go out for a reason such as grocery shopping or clothes shopping, maybe I should try to go out with the main focus on approaching, but even so that'd be really hard. I need somebody to sit next to me and push me to do it.

I wasn't really intending to hit on her. I just wanted to talk and improve, but clearly I couldn't do that. I just thought it'd be a little tiny step in the next direction.

I'm not sure about that. In all aspects physical I'm very confident in myself, except height. I'm 6" tall, but I'm very self conscious about my height for some reason.

Not one bit. It's just that when I talk to them, I find it hard to get my point across and just be myself. As I said, vocal changes, slurred words, etc.

Approaching at the gym isn't something I do. I like to focus on my workout. If I were to approach I'd feel really awkward and out of place. It's distracting for me and the girl that I approach. (and that's just an excuse, I'm actually just a pussy) However, if I did find a female that lifts and is willing to lift with me, I'd like to put a ring on it haha.

Close. I'm 19, 20 in a few months but I live in Canada so I can still go to all clubs legally.

Actually the number of female friends is 0 now. I've only been close with 2 girls in my life, that's over now. Maybe I should just approach with the intention of being friends.

That's true. Whenever I hand out resumes, the first resume always goes terrible because I'm so quiet, but trying not to be and it just doesn't go over too well. I stumble my words, avert eye contact, etc. but by the last place I'm pretty good, deep, good eye contact, etc. I guess I need to learn how to keep that fresh voice from the beginning rather than building up to it.

Far from it. The only thing I pride myself on is what I look like. I'm the farthest thing from self obsessed.

True. I guess I'm going to have to somehow improve myself in the approach region. I'm going to have to hit up some clubs I guess.

I'm trying to kind of move away from the subject of my looks. To clarify, I have a nice jawline, nice cheek bones, a perfect amount of stubble after a shave, blue eyes, nice silky black hair, and all clothes look good on me. That's all there is to it, I'm not an idiot I can tell the difference between attractive and not attractive.

I wouldn't be going to clubs for a relationship, I'd just go for some pussy. I've definitely needed some pussy this past year.

Yeah, ladies love the stubble I hear. Maybe I should shave, my friends would be SO disappointed though.

Maybe it's my facial hair. I let my stubble turn into more of a thicker beard. I'd look more friendly if I shaved that.

That's how I imagine my approach. Calling a girl cute, saying I'd like to get to know her, etc. What kind of things could I do this summer to increase my approaching ability? I was thinking about going to clubs as often as I could just to get used to that fun environment and have some rub off on me, perhaps vacation, lots of band shows around here. Any other ideas to become more interesting and fun of a person? I can't imagine simply approaching is the only aspect of it, I want to have more to m…

I know exactly what you mean by skater dudes, and that's definitely not how I look. The slim jeans are great man, they're levi's, they look good, trust.

I don't really think so. I'm confident in myself, yeah but I've been told enough to know that I am attractive. My guy friends have female friends that tell them to bring me over if I'm around because they're into me, but my guy friends never do it because I make them insecure. I think the girls are just intimidated and I don't know how to change that.
/r/seduction04/05/15 05:35 PM

True, true. It's a nice, simple style. Button ups, slim jeans, shit like that mixed and matched and what not. Either way, I don't think girls will approach me so I'll just have to hit up clubs or something until I can approach girls out of the club environment more easily.

That's why I'm frustrated because it seems like finding a girl is impossible. I'm 19 years old and heading to college in September. I assume that's where you find the quality girls, or at least half of them should be?
/r/seduction04/05/15 03:24 PM

True. I'm a body builder, I have all that you mentioned. Also, like I said, I really find fashion important. I guess it might just be that I'm intimidating. I should smile more.

I've never gone to a club yet, none near me. Perhaps that's why?

I know that's not the case, since fashion is a big thing for me and I'm confident enough with myself to always have good posture, chest out, etc. I look confident but approaching has always been my weakness, yeah. I will approach them. Maybe they're intimidated by me, who knows.

I'd be happy with it. Nothing to lose, right? He likes you or he doesn't, he probably will though.

I did this recently. I ended a one year friendship with a girl who was really special to me, saw her daily and we had an amazing relationship but there wasn't going to ever be any moving forward, so I ended it. Feel awful, but a burden off my chest and I'll get over it in two weeks.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
