Highly disagree. Many women need something to feed their hamster so that they feel like they didn't just throw themselves at some stranger they don't know just because he is attractive. The idea is to phrase the original initiation with hamster approved food. You don't want to "counter attack" after she says no to convince her, you predict the excuse and set that shit up beforehand. If the hamster doesn't like your bait, move on.

No he's driving the point quite well. There was nothing wrong in his post, a guy who is better looking spitting anti game will still be considered a high value male if he is attractive enough. It was an example to differentiate looks/genes from alpha behaviors, attraction is about value, which comes from a mixture of looks and behavior. You are right that women are no where near rational. His example though still highlights that fact, they don't give a shit about the flowers because if a 4 tried…

No, shallow is an adjective used to describe a characteristic of a person. In and of itself it's just provides context for the subject. It also doesn't apply to just another individual, most people are shallow and delude themselves that they are not. If you use other people's shallow attitude as an excuse to bow out of the game, you have a problem. However, if you refuse to acknowledge the truth about the way some people are, you also have a problem. Don't be ignorant about what it is: shallow i…

Just because something is true and you admit it, doesn't change it's nature. If I ran someone over and admitted it, yes I'm being honest but I still killed someone. Honesty doesn't override the characteristics of what you're being honest about. No, it should come as no surprise that any human wants attractives mates for sexual activities. It's a "well duh!" statement in the extreme. I think the issue that makes men angry is that when men admit this, we are shallow "assholes" but when women admit…

Agreed. In a polygamous relationship there is no mutual understanding of exclusivity. You are not trusting or charging them with exclusivity, it's not part of the social contract that can be cheated. My problem is how people use feel good freedom rhetoric to justify sleeping around in a committed relationship, and then are confused when they don't have the moral high ground. You cannot make good on your contracts, and now you have to deal with the consequences. No one with a functioning brain wi…

This. I JUST read this chick's post on facebook about cheating. "Love is respect. Love is not possession. Love does not give you license to own someone's body." I laughed so hard I might have cracked a rib. This chick is going to use the word respect in the same post she justifies cheating? Like, no connecting of the dots there. Yeeeeeup. That's how it goes. Going in with "This girl is going to be an LTR!" attitude will make you subconsciously kiss her ass. Yes, be a decent guy there is nothing wrong with that. But you cannot treat a total stranger as important right off the bat. It encourages the "something for nothing" reaction from her, encourages jumping into random pools without checking the waters first for you, and is just a bad idea.
/r/askTRP27/05/14 09:33 PM

I have recently learned this. You CANNOT under ANY circumstances treat her as LTR until after she has proved she is LTR material. It will affect your game and it will affect your entry frame, which is absolutely vital.

I love that article and it is golden. The line that dominance needs to be covert is the single most valuable line in the entire article. Naturally my next question is one in the comments: Rollo: Do you have any specific pointers about how to covertly display dominance?

I read your story and you are the clone of me. Every single trait and aspect of the relationship you described is my exact situation. I pull girls easy but even thirsty as I am, I don't want to fuck some slut carousel rider. I'm wired for monogamy too and a chick who's worth it just doesn't seem to exist. I chose to live close to where she lived after graduating undergrad, way expensive and choosing not to be close to family. I wish I had the answers for you man. I'm still looking myself. At 23,…

Still a great line. I find friendly pronouns mixed in with sentences rather than direct commands or using their names can give interesting effects. Chief, boss, man, lad (humor if not typically used in US), etc. Spins things in a different direction. "Chief, hand me that wrench will you." is different from, "Hand me that wrench, lad." You can use it to disarm or display dominance over people as needed.

It's redpill, this is reality. There are ridiculous and stupid expectations. No one says you have to jump through hoops to meet them. The aloof attitude masks or confirmations a lot of the "expectations" which is why it works so well on a short term scale. In an LTR, more work is involved.

There's a fine line with that logic in a woman's mind. If she need to tell you to be dominant, and you do it, you are still doing what she says. And the entire effect goes away. It's the exact same reason some women hate redpill. If you need to be told how to be dominant, then they think lesser of you. Have you even heard a guy, or said yourself, complain about woman like this: I'm not a mind reader. Say what you want to say, tell me what you actually want, and get it over with. Women physically…

That phrase is gold. "The top 20% is fluid, and it's all about being the most high value guy in the room at any given time." When she sees you for the first time, her immediate comparison is going to be everyone else around each of you. At that moment in time, you need to be highest value in the room. First impressions are everything.

It's self validation and a convenient public cover up for their own actions. That girl is the definition of a slut, she's slept with 10 guys. I'm not a slut, I've only been with 6. It's externalizing the behavior and quantifying it, putting arbitrary thresholds to reinforce their choices.

Please speak more on this in other threads where it's applicable. Because of the nature of alpha behavior, we place priority/value on ourselves more than others. Which is a valid and effective way of thinking. However a common unintended side effect is dehumanization of females. Yes there are behavioral patterns in women that ideally should be changed. But undesirable behavior patterns exist in men also. Men and women are human. What immediately comes to my mind when I say the word human? Flawed…

This is exactly how I felt when I first went through it. For those struggling with post pill reconstruction: I used to be very idealistic, I was very successful and always had the moral high ground. This gave me confidence and perceived strength. Then you realize some harsh truths. It's true, part of you dies. Truly dead, gone. I get flashbacks, little wisps of the guy I used to be. But it's like memories of the life of someone else. When you swallow redpill, your core beliefs get shattered. You…

Her second husband is a wondeful guy! And she she likes him too. I don't know how much she loves him. But I know he is very good to her." I wouldn't want my daughter to do it. But I did! Definitely true. That tension is absolutely the thing women are left thinking about afterwards. I'm far from well practiced, but oddly I find that the tension builds quickest and hardest when you pull away. For me, when I'm being 100% natural and comfortable, it's like the tide. Interest, calculated response in quick bursts then disconnect. I don't know how to describe it. You can definitely build the tension sometimes by NOT saying anything, just using an expression and staying silent. Interest…

This thread is interesting to me. Typically I find that if you specifically label meeting up with a girl with as a formal "date", some girls can get apprehensive. But if you don't specifically call it a date intentions may not be clear. I find it best to be up front building attraction, and get IOI before casually asking if she's free to meet one on one. Another aspect is the choice for the date, if it's too casual (like a walk) she might not even consider it a date even if you call it one. Her …

This needs to be it's own post. This is exactly why one should avoid preaching red pill. Yes, RP ideology should spread. But it needs to be disseminated in the right way due to it's nature. Delivered at the wrong point in your swallow or to someone who isn't actively looking for answers themselves is asking to nuke your image to that person, along with all the consequences that comes with that. Seriously, make this a standalone post.

I have heard of that book and will get it as soon as I can. I do like that, and have noticed people like to talk about things they know a lot about or are passionate about. For me, it's difficult to balance sounding too overly eager about something I know they'd be interested it in and might come off as brown nosing instead of genuine interest.

This is really great technique. Usually I feel like I need to drive the conversation on myself, and get anxious when rapport breaks. Usually I feel like I need to have subject matter so that way if rapport breaks I have something to say. It's kind of like writers bloc of the tongue. I guess if you are a listener with reactionary insight, you can guide the conversation and let the other person do a lot of the talking but have them feel at ease. This seems like a good way to get someone else to re…

I'm not saying she will cheat, I'm saying that eventually she will likely decide she wants to fuck around and then break it off to go do it. Yes she could be prepared to deal with the consequences (you hard nexting her) but just nexting her doesn't get all that time and effort you spent on her. If a girl thirsts for the cock carousel, I'm not going to wait around for her to act on it. If I'm in an LTR, I'm choosing to lock myself down and not be with anyone else. If she has one foot in the door,…

That's the issue: That wanting to doesn't go away. If anything it's just just a perfect confirmation one day she is going to do it. Do you really want an LTR with someone with a floating expiration date over their heads? If I wanted a plate, I would spin them and not be doing all that extra shit that goes with LTRs.

I think you are asking if RP cares only about yourself as an individual or if it concerns itself with getting your genes out in as many offspring as possible. RP is a way of thinking, it's an ideology, it's a tool. how people use it or how much of it they buy into before adapting it and folding it into their way of thinking is completely dependent on the individual. Some people do care about producing as much offspring as possible with their genes. But I would don't think almost anybody would th…

I was just thinking about this topic a few days ago. I almost always go to the gym with headphones, music helps me focus. I have a pretty cool gym at my apartment complex, which has free Zumba, Yoga, etc classes every few days. Some girls go and work out before/after going to that room, and I'm usually there lifting. Very very great constructive advice, thank you so much for taking the time. I really do want to get over this. It's a stupid paradoxical feeling. I've gone through stages. Hit the nail on the head. To women, obsession is love, they cannot and will not separate the two. "I am always thinking about him, worry about him, therefore I must love him." Once something more interesting to obsess about comes along, she refocuses and the "love" is gone. This is how you get a situation where the woman is hurting the man and somehow feels like the heroine of the story. "I care so much about you, I had nightmares the other night that you weren't okay." "If you 'care' so much, w…

Do me a favor. Can you explain why buying a girl a drink is a common mistake? I can see that it would imply that the woman inherently deserves it, and having done nothing to earn it perpetuates her belief that she is entitled to that kind of attention. I know it's easier said than done, but what is needed here is a a restructuring of your state of mind. It is good to start with SMV, but you should always be improving. Be the prize. You have to believe it for it to be true. Don't think about your own value in flat amounts, think about it in increments of change. I can see where you're coming from, but still, no. If you want to do this to get laid, fine. But buying a hooker is not the same thing as spinning plates, you will not gain any confidence from it. I could next and consider it a lesson learned and good practice. Could/should I move for second date and try things differently? Worst case she just says no and I find somebody else.

You need to figure out what you're dealing with before you even consider an LTR. Very very wise. You're right. She has kept it private, I've known her for a while and had no idea. She has not told me herself, I know from two mutual friends that don't know each other and each implied it was very very bad. But I honestly don't know how it affects her behavior. /u/purecyse mentioned that she seems to be making every effort to bring the walls down, I think so too. I'm just not sure how to approach i…

Just for reference, if she had had told me herself, I would call bullshit. But I didn't hear it from her, I was told by two different mutual friends that don't know each other. It checks out. She does have baggage and I'm currently deciding whether or not to invest any more time.

After thinking about this, I agree. TIL.

Thanks for the response, great points. Yes, there definitely needed to be more kino during the date. That part is something I normally don't even have to think about, but in hindsight it wasn't nearly as much as I usually do. I'm realizing that part of the problem is my mentality for determining LTR worth and what it does to my approach. When at at the getgo I consider the woman possible plate and that's it, I have absolutely no problem getting them comfortable. I did pedestal her for no reason.…

This is a good point. I didn't give much context, but I've known her for a while. This one I didn't want to just add as a plate. Obviously as I get to know the real her if there are serious red flags, demotion to plate or nexting would be the response.

In my experience, no it doesn't increase the chances. A woman who hasn't experienced anything with anyone else will always have a piece of her "wondering" if she is "missing out". It's very very easy for her to hamster.

Oh, what a sweet delicious article. Really does a great job at refocusing your perspective. Definitely saving this for some light reading.

That's what I was thinking. I would have just ignored that statement too. I just can't think of a scenario where agree and amplify to absurdity would apply.

Makes sense. How about agree and amplify to absurdity? How does taking what she said and parroting it absurdly pass the test? Say she says, "I don't sleep with guys on the first second or third date." If you respond, "Well that works out, a woman has to get to ten dates to sleep with me." Doesn't that hurt your frame and make you look like you couldn't get a women to sleep with you before that length of time anyway? And obviously you wouldn't wait to 10 if it played out well. I can see how it co…

I think this is the best breakdown of shit tests I've ever read, well summarized. Can you give an example for a pressure flip? Or agree and amplify to absurdity? Haven't heard of to absurdity before. In my head I wouldn't see how that holds frame if it's overdone.

Some of them only half understand what they're doing. I know I care about you, but what if.... The "what if" mentality is so deep seated and planted so deep into their core, that it conflicts with their heart to the point it causes them stress. Eventually "what if" wins and they "set themselves free" from someone they care(d) about, justifying it with "there's a chance, so I shouldn't have to settle." Only when she's had a bit of everything at the bar and the doors are closed to her does she dec…

Carrotcake, not all of us want to do this. In my opinion, OP just posted a man version of "riding the cock carousel." I'd be much happier with a virgin sweet girl than having banged betty crocker or whatever nonsense. Source: I will be 25 in a few years and am not interested in picking up waves of women. We exist.

As a lurker who found this subreddit by sheer luck a few weeks ago. OPs post is the one that finally converts me to this line of thinking. I've slowly gone through the denial, anger, bargaining... depression was the last one. I have a new life now.
