OK, he does some good stuff but he also does a lot of stuff that is really, really bad and it's not like we average this stuff out. Get rid of him and find someone who only gives you good, it's what you deserve. It's what anyone deserves.

I'm not going to say it's not harder for you, it is, but to use that as an excuse not to change something negative that you can change doesn't hurt others, it hurts you. Like, I was driving to work this morning and traffic was terrible and it was filled with terrible drivers and I just realised that getting mad at them isn't going to change anything except to raise my blood pressure. Sure, I got behind another car who was just sitting in the fast lane and I got angry at them again because it's n…

Those guys actively knock stuff off the table with their shitty attitudes. You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

The thing is there are a bunch of ugly guys who aren't billionaires who have very beautiful girlfriends/wives. You do need to bring something to the table though, generally it's being hilarious.

Jesus man, maybe meet some actual feminists and you'll learn their problem isn't with men but with patriarchy. And patriarchy harms everyone. It's definitely harmed you, you're thinking of telling women to avoid men (at least I hope that's what you mean by teaching women all men are bad and you aren't planning to do it by example) rather than telling men to be better to women when you can. It's a bit victim blamey, yeah? So be a better man, be an example for others, call out bad behaviour when y…

If the individuals involved want it, absolutely. I think what feminism has a problem with is with it being expected and men who do not share in the desire for this behaviour being shamed.

This is why feminists say patriarchy also harms men.

The first time that happened it was so men could fight the fire on board the ship. Ask yourself this, would disabled people be included in this? Of course, we help the least able first. And does a disabled person have more inherent worth than a non-disabled person? From a purely Darwinian point of view definitely not.

The US has one of the highest infant mortality rates among developed nations and a judge just gave a serial rapist probation so I don't feel like that's a point of view seriously shared by a lot of people.

Absolutely, trying to be something you're not leads to that uncanny valley feeling people get around you which makes them hesitant and less likely to interact genuinely with you which is just a negative feedback loop. Meanwhile not attempting any kind of self-improvement is accepting life as it is which obviously isn't that great if you were looking to fundamentally change your personality in the first place. Basically be the best version of you. Don't try to be like someone else, try to be like…

Read the rest of the comment for God's sake. You don't suddenly become charismatic, and even if you did you are dragging a large black cloud that would still keep you from being the life of the party. Learn to like who you are, restate what you think are negatives as positives. Every crew needs a person who talks sense, who stops them from getting crazy, be that guy. If you want to change start with accepting who you are and changing your outlook, it's both easier and more effective than what yo…

Generally, you don't. That's not to say you can't improve though, no-one likes a negative Nancy so maybe start seeing being a grounded person as a strength. Or go to Nepal for a year, one of my friends did it and came back completely changed.

I'm 43 and I think my lower bound would be 35, past that they're probably going to be missing too many cultural references. And you have to consider the speed you live at, if I went to a nightclub now I'd probably be asleep before it filled up. Honestly dating an 18 year old sounds like an absolute nightmare. Young people are idiots, we will have almost nothing in common, our activities will be very different and I'll have to have that conversation with every person we meet that no she's not my …

No, you should break up with her for her sake. Let's be honest, with it being a long distance relationship she doesn't need to go out to cheat, she could be fucking some dude at her place that you aren't at. What "hypergamous" attitude does she have? As I understand it that would be her fucking a ton of guys which we don't have evidence for from what you've said.

OK, so do you now realise how much bullshit the red pill contains? Here's the thing, forget PUA, it's old shit and no longer relevant. In fact if you read Neil Strauss' "The Truth" you'll see how it didn't bring him any kind of satisfaction and the shit was tapped out months after they got to a place. You need to first move and second try making some natural relationships. You seem to like cycling so join a cycling club. Just concentrate on getting to know people as people rather than approaches…

You are correct, projecting confidence and being prepared to lie to tell women what they want to hear will get you far enough for some men. It's not a great long-term strategy and it definitely has too many drawbacks to recommend but there's a reason it's a cliche.

Well yes, that would be the opposite of what women want in a man. The ability to be excited by something is very attractive, we all love to watch people's faces light up even if it's something we're not personally interested in.

Pretty much the only thing that stands out is no ambition. Like seriously? No ambition about anything at all? You don't have a dream? I'm seriously asking by the way because this is the only sticking point, I have seen ugly skinny guys who aren't exactly born comedians get incredible girlfriends but they were at least inspired to be good at something.

I think the fact we get mugged and women get raped is just another tick in the "easier for guys" column right there.

I'd say it's easier for men actually, I've never been worried by my date turning up in a van, never had to keep track of my drink, I've not thought I'm being followed home. Even when I or guys I've known have managed to hook up with a crazy one it's never been scary, more irritating/inconvenient.

Cool. The problem is you're saying this is the kind of stuff that got you into TRP when from a TRP perspective this is acceptable behaviour.
/r/ExRedPill23/08/21 02:39 PM

No doubt but this is more one of those things TRP is responsible for. From a pure red pill point of view the friend is doing the right thing having sex with an available female and this dude is just some chump. Put the blame where it lies my man.

They weren't on a date, she invited him to a party. And if the story was how he'd gone to this girl's party and met her hot friend who he really got on with and they hooked up you would have zero problem with that.
/r/ExRedPill23/08/21 01:52 PM

She wasn't his girlfriend, she's single. If he'd pulled her friend we'd be cheering him on. Double standard right there.
/r/ExRedPill23/08/21 01:41 PM
23

How is any of this on her? She got on better with his mate who totally decided to have sex with this girl right under his nose. If he should be mad at anyone it's at his friend although I guess TRP would big up the friend for being alpha?

Why is it freaking you out? At least the Milgram Experiment underlines the need for someone in a position of authority to instruct the experimentee. If you can get a person to realise the likes of Jordan Peterson are talking rubbish their authority goes poof.

Looks are good but not crucial. Money is basically irrelevant for any woman worth your time. Status is a vague word. I think the correct meaning of status is as a social signifier, not that you are upper class or anything but that you are a respected member of a group. Having a solid friend group is probably the most important thing, it shows women that you are socially capable and since personality plays such a critical role it's a great signifier of being socially competent. I'd say the ideal …

100%, you can have some success just being attractive but it's not going to be long-term. Alternatively not being attractive but having a good personality isn't going to get you much success in the short-term but you can cultivate enough relationships that one of them stands a good chance of becoming romantic.

Do you feel that the behaviour of women in your life might be influenced by your own in any way? Like, you feel the need to tell us how much you can lift even though that's not relevant, how you've never had more than a slight fracture. Is it possible you've either selected or raised women who will react like this?

I'd question the worth of a purple shirt. If I would prefer a blue shirt a thousand people giving me shit for not having a purple shirt wouldn't matter. Don't be around those people, they do not matter, find people who do.

Am I supposed to be judgemental because I hate judgemental people? Seems kind of dumb. But you define your success, ignore those who would put you down for not meeting their standards, cut them out of your life in favour of people who will support you, uplift you for who you are not what you've "achieved".

I'm sure a lot of it is. I don't know where you are but in NYC check out a book shop called Blue Stockings, I went in and asked what I should read to get up to speed and they were very helpful. Just like in inceldom there's a whole range from mild to wild.

Yes, the point I was making there was that if someone can become bitter as a reaction to feminism could the feminism they are reacting to also itself be a reaction to something else?
/r/ExRedPill13/11/20 12:36 PM
31

So if you're becoming bitter because feminism has a hard-on for women can feminism not be seen as women getting bitter because society has a hard-on for men? I mean the obvious answer is that "feminism" covers a lot of ground and you're picking a fairly extreme version (that book for instance was criticised by France's equality commission which is usually pretty pro-feminist) which is better called misandry. So your saying feminism is making you a prick is as dumb (because it's an incredibly swe…

"Incels think that hypergamy is biologically ingrained in women" And that is a patriachal view right there. So please don't say how you have remained above it all when you're down in the muck with the rest of us. It's the reason we see women as something that must be guarded, protected, it's an old, old view that really ignores a lot of evidence to the contrary. For instance, if women are the hypergamous ones why is it almost entirely men who rape? But this isn't the place for a debate as to why…

Main stream feminism is concerned with how patriarchal attitudes harm most people of both sexes. Take incels for instance. They're told that without women they're worthless. It's not women telling them this, it's other men. It's a patriarchal attitude. Many of them adopt those attitudes, reasoning that if women had less autonomy then it would be easier for them to gain worth in a patriarchal system. Spoiler alert: it won't, the game is rigged, they just got co-opted to work against their own bes…

Good for you mate, the sad fact is there's just enough surface truth to the red pill (people prefer attractive people, being rich and famous makes dating easier, etc.) to convince inexperienced young men that the rest is gospel.

OK, so just using the term feminazi is putting you on the border of incel territory so maybe take the term as a warning? Like, if you're honestly just having a discussion and someone says you sound like an incel use it as an opportunity to take a mental step back and look at what you just said. Maybe ask them if you could listen to their side and then concentrate on listening.

I'm going to need data for your claims. "Promiscuity and good looks are very highly correlated for men." Source please. Also if you can find me one for your claim that very few men are promiscuous because it in no way matches my experience. And yes, women mitigate risk but they kind of have to because the risks they face in dating are much higher than those we face as men.
/r/ExRedPill16/04/20 04:21 PM

Mitigated? Mate, women around the world are getting raped in public, that's not something you can mitigate against. And yes, some women are promiscuous, some men are promiscuous, that's not sufficient to say women live life on easy mode. Some do but it's the same for some men too.
/r/ExRedPill16/04/20 03:06 PM

Ok I've never had to worry because my date turned up driving a van. I've never had to watch my drink every second. I've never had to push a girl who wouldn't take no for an answer off me. If you think women have an easier time dating you just haven't spoken to enough of them.
/r/ExRedPill16/04/20 02:26 PM

Generally many of the facts incels state come from actual research but because they cherry-pick they ignore most of the data the research generates. I don't, so I'm never going to say something dumb like "good looking people generally don't have easier lives" because research shows that they do but at the same time I'm not going to say something dumb like "women live life on easy mode" because the research says they very much do not. If you want to find out if your beliefs have a basis in fact t…

Not why ladies nights exist. They were actually the night women were allowed to frequent bars, the idea of giving women free drinks to bring single men in on otherwise quiet nights is a recent mutation.
