Hey man sorry for the late response. It's been a little over 2 months since the breakup and it's definitely been a roller coaster. I was a lot more outgoing the first month because I was starting to develop friendships with some of my neighbors this semester - but a lot of it came from me looking for support in my breakup process. I found myself becoming more distant as I started to internalize my feelings about the breakup and redirecting my energy to what I need to do. In my case, I want to ac…

It's really weird how this kind of stuff plays out. I'm on the tail end of a similar situation... except my ex-GF of 2.5 years dumped me largely in part due to the fact she has social abundance and a lot more on her plate (in a sorority) while I over the years became someone who really has no friends or social life but did at some point (long story short, I was in a fraternity but had to drop). It was a ice cold blow while I was recovering academically and socially, but it was something I needed…

Although I don't have your specific condition, I'll chip in with my condition of having numerous skin issues. I'm dealing with icthyosis vulgaris (dry, itchy, scaly skin all around that doesn't respond to normal lotions), acne, dry eyes, dry face, and dry lips With no cure for any of my ailments, what I've learned over the years is the best way to deal with those issues is to conceal them as much as possible. Buy high quality lotions, creams, and oils that heavily moisturizer and help hide the a…

Most smart people, unless they are really stuck up assholes, are very humble about their intellectual achievements or capacity. Usually with a genuinely smart/intelligent person you can pick up subtle cues (from the way they speak, topics they're interested in, how they react to topics you bring up) that can give you a gauge of that. But it's easier to tell when someone is not smart. If they're bragging about some topic they just researched from a buzzfeed article, or seem to give off a vine of …

Thing is, it's impossible in my social situation to avoid her that way. For example, a girl is in my We The People unit (basically a team for an extracurricular club) so I have to socialize with her on a daily basis

Thanks man, but the one thing I'm confused about is the "chasing me" aspect. If I'm constantly texting the chick, talking to her, giving her attention, etc. wouldn't that be the opposite of her chasing me?

I have plenty of female friends, I don't wanna get friendzoned by girls I'm interested in I'm just very cautious of the concept that if I just keep showing a girl a lot of attention, interest, and keep things going as a friend like that that she will become comfortable of our relationship and wouldn't feel the need to go beyond it

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
