This is damn near cut and paste what happened to me. I was the same dumbass as him that signed the birth certificate for a child that wasn’t mine. I got a lawyer and we went to court to remove my name from the birth certificate and all the child support that was garnished from my paychecks. I’m not sure if I had a good lawyer, or just caught it early enough (kid was less than a year old) that I was given all the money back by her by court order. I was lucky, and I hope she remembers my smug grin…

I learned Castilian Spanish because my teacher was from Madrid. Honestly I like the European home version if you will, as the Latin American version has a lot of words that mixed with local tribes from the colonial period. English is a stupid language.

I had the Rosetta Stone for Brazilian Portuguese but I’d like to learn Portugal. I like the accent. Almost sounds like Russian. I’m a big Ronaldo fan and his Madeira accent is fascinating to me.

I’m not exactly fluent in Spanish anymore, but I used to be at one point and starting learning Portuguese. I immediately noticed how similar they are(duh! Based on Latin), but Portuguese uses a lot of m where there is an n in Spanish, h for g in some things too. Jardín = Jardím Tengo = Tenho Etc. Language is cool.
