I was 185cm and weighed 65kg because of a debilitating thyroid illness. Took me 4 years of lifting and martial arts and now I have a very aesthetic physique. I would invite you to stop being so paranoid. No one gives a f**k about you or your dancing. Own it. Own the space. If you need confidence then learn to dance by yourself first. It might take a few months. You’ll feel silly but you’ll be so glad you did it. I’ve got laid multiple times because of being able to dance.

I have massively improved my dancing over the past few years just by trying to dance on my own whenever I’m listening to music when I’m cooking or ironing shirts or whatever. If (like me) you like metal or rock, listen to some Cuban/Spanish (Buena Vista Social Club etc.) or jazz music. You can find Spotify curated playlists really easily. You’ll find that quite pleasant and the beat is very pronounced to almost all ears. Fundamentally, dancing is about being on beat. Think of it like Guitar Hero…

Been kickboxing hard for 3 years and it has strengthened my knees. I can weight lift now. You are fake news. Try more vitamin D, B and calcium.
