Most Brazilians are ignoring masking and social distancing, and carrying on as if nothing has happened -- various reasons including very mixed messages from government. This is why Rio just had its highest daily case number (and it's only going to get worse in next week due to all the Carnaval parties). Also BR has extremely limited vaccine supplies, and the most available is one of the worst in terms of efficacy (Coronavac from China). So if you want to go out as if it is pre-covid, BR is your …

I couldn't follow it. and I'm a fan of his. I've been living outside the US for 10+ years (still paying those Federal taxes though, since I won't give up my citizenship) and honestly it's not a cakewalk. Brazil is really a shitshow at times and the last year has been a wall of isolation suckiness.

Dude, who the fuck cares? Stop treating youself like the heroine of some romance novel. You are the sum total of the choices you make. Own it, don't moan it. Beating yourself up over some bullshit Hallmark holiday is the most bluepill thing ever.

I've gotten to <10% body fat (at 50+ y.o.) over the last year by pretty consistently counting calories and eating a fairly Keto diet: grilled chicken, lean beef round, squash, aspargus, spinach, mushrooms, cheese, eggs, smoked turkey breast. Protein powder and protein bars / protein "cookies." Carbs with nuts (almonds, walnuts, Brazil nuts) and frankly a shit ton of beer (thanks, Pandemic!). I probably drink 2 beers/day (I'm talking 5%-7% stuff, craft beer stuff), sometimes more. I have a cheat …

Finally some frakkin common sense. Upvote for you! Also think about income inequality. I live in city where literally some of the girls I meet up (from Tinder or other) maybe make $500/mo or less. I invite them to a nice bar for drinks that to me cost nothing but to them would be like a week's salary. I'm usually hungry so I say "hey, how about we get some [insert cool appetizer here]." Not paying is just silly. I like the places, I invite them to the places, I pay for the places. I don't pay fo…

You "took her out to eat" but then you ask to split the bill? WTF? Just pay the fucking bill bro. Who cares? You invite, you pay. Simple rules. Ask her to make it up to you with a backrub or buying you a beer at the next place, but seriously WTF.

I recently hit 50 and I grapple with this question. I do look younger, I have ~10% body fat after changes to diet and working out. So on my online dating profiles, I register as younger so I show up in search ranges. Never quite sure what to say if the direct question comes up. Can be mysterious "How old do you think I am?" but I don't want to get into a situation where I'm forced to lie. How do older gents here deal with this?

I've hit it hard since I first moved to Brasil several years ago. Recently, since this Covid madness started, I've only banged it out twice (in like 7 months). I think it's just suffering through this period. Focus on diet, lifting, improving personal life, and figure you'll lose a year.

I've literally set foot outside my apartment building 1 time since March 15. Raging COVID-19 in Rio and Brasil. The rest of the population has given up and is merrily mingling and contracting, hence cases remain high. But i'm holding out. I expect another 3-4 months minimum with basically zero contact and no dating. Eat clean, workout at home, focus on work, watch a lot of Amazon Prime and Netflix, take some online courses. That's my day.

This, exactly. In Brasil, where I am, basically every girl is DTF. They just want an excuse so they don't seem like sluts (esp. when they tell their friends/family what went down). I can be the "watch a movie" thing or even something simpler like "You have to see the night sky from my roof deck" or "let's get a nightcap, I just got this great whiskey."

You're going to stop worrying so much about slaying puss when you hit 50 and realize, holy fuck, how much to I have to have saved so I don't have to worry about working for the man for (x) more years before I kick it. You will have an 8% chance of getting to 92. $6k/mo pretax says you might make it. Unless your savings give you that, pussy is the least of your worries.

I thought she would stick with me when I was living 18hrs (plane) away and when I stopped paying her bills. She shacked up with a chubby low-life, squirted out a kid (her 2nd), and stopped talking to me. I literally make 30X more/mo. than her or her chubby low-life. It was her turn with me, and she blew it.

$3.4 MM at 50 is not enough to live out the rest of your years (until 92, 8% chance) using $6K-$7k pretax per month. How is daddy's MC going to cover that? You can't tell me that the household wealth of Long Island, on average, is in this range? The only way you can live comfortably on $6K (pretax) per month is to move to a very LCO / low tax area.

FWIW my monthly rent for a 3 bedroom, 4 story penthouse in Rio De Janeiro was $1089 last month -- granted with massive devaluation of local currency. My living expenses overall probably came in at <$4K. Sure, you give up a lot to get it -- just look at the mess Brazil is in currently -- but you could probably find the same in the Phillipines, Thailand, or even 1-2 "second world" places in Europe (where you have the advantage of being 1-2hr cheap flights from *everywhere* in Europe).

High level TLDR would be (if I'm not mistaken): 1) Eat fewer calories than you burn, ideally 500 fewer if you're trying to lose weight at a reasonable pace. 2) Drink water (a lot) to fill your belly so you don't feel hungry. 3) Eat/snack on high-water veggies to help you not feel hungry. I eat a ton of celery. Doing the above, and also moving towards a Keto diet, I lost 20 kg in a year - but honestly about 15kg of that happened in 6 months. That's what, 30+ pounds? While building muscle. All doi…

Another caveat to consider could be income inequality. If you make $200K/year and she makes $30K/year, it's probably not realistic to ask her to pay "her share" for a lot of nights out, travel, shows, bars, etc. depending on where you want to go. Invite her if you want to go do those things, but realize you'll be paying probably. She can do other things in her hit zone like cook dinner, pick up a tab every once in a while, etc.. My take fwiw is that 4-5 messages per day if they're not sappy and long can be reasonable in an LTR. A lot depends on your/her culture, too. Here in Brazil the girls need to get some affection by text or they think you are cold (happens a lot to me as an American) and disinterested. Generally I find the best texts are declarative: "Man, I just had the *best* ice cream" (*include pic*), not stuff like "How is your day?"

Nailed it. Don't hate the player. There's that old story about the frog and scorpion: it's nature. "A scorpion asks a frog to carry him over a river. The frog is afraid of being stung, but the scorpion argues that if it did so, both would sink and the scorpion would drown. The frog then agrees, but midway across the river the scorpion does indeed sting the frog, dooming them both. When asked why, the scorpion says 'Sorry, it's my nature.'" --Fable of the Scorpion and the Frog

Transitioned into giving her "just a taste" with a shoulder massage -- that was enough to totally take her into headspace/subspce. Pulled back (push-bull) a bit, stood a bit farther away. Moved up to talking about her hair (ma…

Or right at the beginning where his wife is going on and on and on complaining, and he just reaches in, grabs her hair, kisses her, and then says "Can you do me a favor?" While pushing her head down lol. I'm with you, I couldn't believe half the stuff in the movie. When the stripper opens his office door with glitter all over her naked chest, and then Jackson shows up with glitter all over his mouth/beard and *nothing is said*, I was laughing out loud.

sounds like you got out pretty clean and easy, all things considered. no common-law marriage? no threats of alimony because you were common-law married. no procreated kids between you to fight over. if you can walk away with only your emotions hurt, hit the gym until they don't any more and go smash some new chicks to get over it.

There's a *ton* in the new Shaft remake on Netflix, right until the somwhat BP end. It was surprisingly fun to see though. In one part Shaft stalks his baby mama on a date and basically negs her and her date from the restaurant bar while surrounded by hoties half his age (or less). Wifey storms out in the bathroom where her hamster goes from overdrive hate to overdrive "he wants me back, i'll go seduce him." You see it happen in real time.

The cited chart doesn't seem quite in sync with how at least i look at middle class. My middle class life has Assets like Stocks, Bonds, Notes spead across mid and large cap total market funds including REITs to cover the real estate piece. Those provide dividend and interest income directly . Many of those firms held by the funds have IP, and I'm sure I could start to create my own IP blog content if I gave a shit. Also I'm confused by the Rich not havng car loans or school loans? Is it beign s…

My hardest part - and granted I'm doing this in Brazil and not on Tinder (which is full of straight-up whores, for real) -- is not even getting responses or getting them to contact me on whatsapp right away (vs the site). It's dealing with the vapid conversations and trying to get them to say anything at all interesting. It's soul-breaking. Hot chicks, terrible convos. I get that the 20-26yos all just want to talk about music and drinking, but god that's boring. In the last 20 convos or so I've …

You know, the roboadvisors may not be a bad place to start... Betterment, Wealthfront and the like. There are all kinds of discussions about picking individual stocks yourself VS investing in (basically) index funds, and the roboadvisors are the latter on rails to make it easy for the average person.

It's a good way to think about it, but all the accountants are shaking their heads ;). For example, every time I see Deferred Revenue as a Liability my brain explodes a little... (Yeh, it's bc you still have to provide the service to "earn" it, but dammit most of the customers paid up front and I already got the cash!)

What bothers me most is it appears there was only 1 picture of her in the video? At least only 1 I saw during a fast review dragging the YouTube bar. I really wanted more pics and graphic "crazy sex" descriptions to satisfy my prurient interest.

Click-bait title. "Making dinner" is a totally useless indicator of success or value. Sure, if you are a wanna-be Gordon Ramsey it's one more weapon in your arsenal of why you represent value. But if you are high-value in other areas, you may well find making dinner a waste of your time (which is your most precious resource). I don't clean my own apartment -- I outsource it to my cleaning lady. She does a much better job for much cheaper (time=resource) than if I were to do it myself. Same for "…

<<Personally, what works best for me is a 40 hr/week job without any travel, that pays me well enough to afford a sweet bachelor pad and to be able to toss enough money into my 401k while still having some cash savings and spending cash on the side.>> To get what you describe above, for me is roughly a $30K/month income (gross), and I haven't been able to figure out how to attain that only working 40hrs/week. And yes I have my own company. And I work longer and harder than I did when I was worki…

<<Finally, I wanted to also note that, as you can imagine, every blue pill guy and SJW in existence will insist we were "never REALLY married".>> With all due respect - and not to denigrate what you did accomplish - you're celebrating not being divorce-raped, which you cleverly avoided by not living in a common law marriage state and not actually having a legal marriage (as far as I can tell by quickly reading). It seems you did more of a non-legal ceremony in Vegas. That's awesome but it's not …

I was on your side until you said "fix me a plate" ... really? What are you, a sherrif in the Old West using "fix" as a verb like that. Ugh. EDIT: "fix" in the sense of prepare, annoying US colloquialism, probably from the south or midwest. Nails on the blackboard.

Not sure why you have to own your own house with no mortgage. Outside of John Goodman's advice in The Gambler, fair enough. But (a) it's been shown that home ownership isn't necessarily a great investment compared to investing that money in other assets with potentially higher returns, even REITs, and (b) if you own a home with a mortgage, but the market value on the home is above your mortgage and/or you rent the home to offset the majority of your mortgage payment then I don't really see the n…

What do you do about the opposite situation. Case in point: banging a 19y.o. university student on the 2nd date, she sleeps in my bed, I take her to breakfast/lunch when she finally wakes up at noon the next day ... and she hardly talks at all. So there's that horrible silence of sitting across from her in a small cafe with her saying nothing. I hate to be making conversation just to make it, but the silence is horrifying and reminds me of all those old couples that never ever talk during meals …

You also made the mistake of not defining what she will or won't do in the room, before you got there. This eliminates the bad performers, as you can tell even when they say they will do things, what their attitude is!

Anyone have a link to a good starting routine for a 45 year old guy who hasn't been to the gym in 3 years? I'm worried more about not overtly hurting myself badly in the first weeks of return. Thx.

I actually thought that Prostitution is legal in England but pimping or profiting from someone else's selling sex is not. Perhaps I am wrong. But it happens a ton in London and other cities without being well hidden -- there was even a major hit BBC series with Billie Piper about it. So I don't think they're not having sex because "it would make them prostitutes" -- they may just not be admitting to it on national TV.

Giving gifts to sluts like this without getting an equal amount of sex in return (CPF) is lower than Beta, IMHO.

This documentary is the most retarded thing I've seen in a while. First of all there's no way that sex isn't involved ... hell they show 1-2 of the chicks with kids. Second of all, is there a category lower than Beta ... because if you're providing "gifts" to one of these girls with no sex in exchange, that's just about the worst thing I've ever heard. At least own it and pay for it.
