The future is destitute, marginalized swathes of young men lending their strength to extremist movements that will bring societal institutions down. Unless somehow this endless barrage of attacks comes to an end and true equal treatment is enacted.

Don't think Putin wouldn't like to expand Mother Russia once again. I don't think Putin has any interest in more territory. Putin's problem(or Russia's problem) is that it doesn't have the necessary things to defend its already massive territory. Which is why it's still trying to find ways to implement the old buffer state protection layer strategy. Russia's concern is with maintaining their territory, not gaining more territory. A lot of people miscalculate Russia because of their size and aggr…

Erin Prizzy is awesome. She's someone who has actually seen violence going every way. It's very sobering hearing her speak. Of course, feminists hate her. Here she is denouncing patriarchy as fraud

but some people here seriously fucking hate women. It does make it hard sometimes. Not wanting to get married or be attached, and recognizing the dangers for men in the current environment does not require hating women. Hating takes too much energy, and can be easily used to discredit the movement. Tough I prefer hateful comments to censorship, which is everywhere else on reddit.

My theory on modern art is the following: art has always been used by the wealthy to store and move wealth about, and much of classical art survived because of this. But as the states become nation-states, and governments began to hoard it, taking on the preservation role for itself, art collectors were met with a shortage of tradeable art. They could have gone for mediocre art, but that's immediately apparent as not very valuable. By feeding into the extreme, loopy creations of the fringes of t…

Clearly there are things that are objectively good for society and things that are objectively bad for society. Murder is always wrong. Living a life of helping people is always right. Outside the mantle of mankind, our morality has no meaning, but within the perspective of human societies(which is to us inescapable) there definitely exists morality in the most objective sense.

The real lesson of Rome is that the pax romana followed after Augustus took power and basically stabilized the borders into what was most natural, and in his will he basically told Romans that they should preserve those borders and strongly protect them. That is what allowed more than 200 years of peace and prosperity. The recognition that all of the world doesn't easily blend together.

Men have never been nor will ever be the weaker sex, and any society which allows groups of young men to be marginalized, is a society that will be thrown on its ass and replaced by something else. Let's get a grip here. This is an animal who is acting out the very strong instincts it has, and that are very necessary to ensure the continuation of the species. We, not only are not ruled by instinct, but the last thing we need is to worry about the continuation of the species. If anything, there's too many people around already.

If enough men avoid the traps, society will be forced to change in a very organic way. The only way it wouldn't have is if feminists are right and men aren't needed, which we know very well isn't true. The need for men is immense and ever greater the more they are shunned.
/r/MGTOW05/11/16 03:07 AM
3

Perhaps. I'm just not completely sure you can easily arrive at a political platform starting from a movement that mostly aims to avoid pitfalls rather than attempting to waste energy creating bridges over them.
/r/MGTOW05/11/16 02:50 AM
7

it will need to turn political at some time. How do you imagine that? MGTOW has no discernible philosophy other than avoiding entering certain life choices. How do you make a political platform from that? We are not trying to change things, merely avoid the things we believe are counter to our best interests.

Bond holders have to take haircuts (i.e. get paid less than what they were promised) from the US government. In this case, the United States would make a public statement and tell bond holders they can only pay a certain % of the maturity value of a bond. Instead of getting a $1,000 when the bond matures, they might get $850. I believe this happened in Greece when a bunch of hedge funds bought severely distressed Greek bonds. Isn't this equivalent to a default? Surely it's in the interest of the…

You can't have a single market without bureocracy, without legislators and court to uphold the regulations. The great achievement of the EU, which goes beyond simple trade deals is bringing down the regulatory divide. The UK wants a simple trading deal? Fine, but it will still not generate as much money as full membership in the market, because the UK will have different regulations, so companies will have to adjust products and services to match different markets, which has costs. Ultimately, t…

It isn't law yet. Sweden has many political parties, so many opinions can be found expressed in their parliament.

Just look at how catered to women are in environments like colleges and some workplaces. There are multiple services to help women but very few, if any at all, to help men so is it any wonder more women are graduating than men. Nevermind services. The entire learning process is skewed towards the mechanics that work better on women. In effect this unbalance of female/male success is completely manufactured by the way education systems have been set up.

almost as if raising a son who gets married is a sort of trophy that shows how good a mother she is That's not completely off the mark. If it wasn't for having had the mother I had, I'd probably like women a lot more than I do.

Exactly. This is good for men.

So, it'll be more expensive to hire women. I'd say this might be good for men.

I think the best compromise would be the man having to make the decision early on. Are you in or out? That way she can still make the decision over something happening in her body, and the man also has a say in it.

I don't understand women's obsession with height. Is it because they want the guy to be able to check for predators across the high grass? I'm 1.86 and honestly it gets in a way sometimes. All my life I've talked down to people. It's annoying.

Apparentely they don't understand it basically enforces the notion a woman can get a man in jail by just telling lies with impunity. If this was my daughter I'd never want to see her again.

The best and safest way to ensure a reduction in the quality of education is to introduce propaganda into the classroom. Good job, Sweden.

The only good thing is the crime rate is pretty low because guns are illegal. There are safer countries in Europe than the UK.

Women like this have a hard time accepting that the bell distribution of IQ in males is different than in women, and while there are less stupid women than man, there's also a lot less very intelligent women than there are men.

That is not the definition of a pseudoscience. The scientific method doesn't occur only on a lab.

Even worse if you can read Portuguese. They basically make a hero of the police and effectively dismiss his assistance as a mere 'attempt to help'.
/r/MGTOW07/09/15 04:53 PM

That I agree with. Social sciences are never perfectly exact, but it doesn't make them (entirely)useless.
/r/MGTOW07/09/15 03:43 PM

It's not a pseudoscience, it's a social science, which makes it more complex and ever changing, since it studies society itself.
/r/MGTOW07/09/15 12:02 PM

I have to go against the grain here. Yes, most women are pretty vacuous, mostly because their lives are easier than men's(society is more lenient). However, there are plenty of intelligent women around that are far better than the average man. Marrying and having close relationships with women can be dangerous and costly for men, but let's not fall into simple name calling and full on prejudice. Both women and man have a place. It's female entitlement in this day and age that is the problem, not…
/r/MGTOW31/08/15 03:46 PM

That's why I think any man who marries is insane. It's just a stupid mistake to make.
/r/MGTOW31/08/15 03:32 PM

I think it's supposed to be funny, not make an argument.

What amazes me is not the woman, is that a judge actually sided with this crazy person. Common law gives too much power to judges.

Why do you think women initiate the vast majority of divorces? Because it's financial advantageous to them to do so.
/r/MGTOW06/08/15 04:14 PM

Men are everything but expendable. If all there was to humanity, we'd still be in the stone age. A nice social experiment was the Survivor shows where they separated men from women. A society only of women would not work.

That is irrelevant when you have 7 billion people and more than half are women. Humans aren't anywhere close to extinction.
