This is side bar material man. Read it. Based on the way you've phrased the post, I can tell you lack: outcome independence, abundance mentality, to drop some terminology on you, and also you need to lose the "pity, poor me, I'm bad with girls bullshit". Grow the fuck up, hit the gym, and remember 2 little dictums: ABC: Always Be Closing If you want to catch a fish, ask a fisherman. Don't ask a fish.

What's always worked to me is to shift the paradigm of the thought from one of self-absorption (what do they think of me) to one of self-deprecation. Although this sounds odd, it is effective for me. Ask yourself, why are you so important? Why would any of these other people give a fuck about you? When you realize your own insignificance (and consequently, by extension, the insignificance of everyone else), life becomes simple a theatre to express yourself. There's no bottom to hit, per se, so j…

As a former Seddit lurker (and I think poster once or twice), I agree. This subreddit's mantra has become "Be yourself even if you suck!! Smile!! Tell jokes!! Confidence!!!" Please. This is canned and generic. Much of this is make yourself feel good nonsense, it's not actually strategic, tactical or even original. Other subreddits cover sexual strategies much better.

Okay, first off, you should limit your exposure. You talk about call, text, email (?). Virtual communication is only used to facilitate real encounters, not to make small talk. I think you're placing entirely too much emphasis on the virtual, artificial aspects. Next, what is this first 10 dates? If you're still going on dates with a woman with no results after 10 occasions, here's a tip: find a new woman. She's using you as a time ho. You'll know within 2 to 3 dates if you have chance for any t…

Too bad you don't understand the situation hahahah all these comments that think they're being so moral and sanctimonious don't even know what the fuck they're talking about. My roommate knows about this, encouraged it, etc

You're missing the entire point of the post. And also, you don't know the context of our interaction, but there never was sexual interest. Regardless, the lessons learned and the attraction felt (regardless of whether I could act on it or not due to institutional constraints, blah blah) are didactic and worth sharing. I'm too lazy to explain further

You don't understand the situation and have totally misread it. Unfortunately, everything you have said is irrelevant. This is why I prefaced such above. My roommate knows the entirety of the situation. My goal was never to seduce this girl, but I learned a valuable lesson regardless which I shared with the community.

Honesty. Be honest in the face of confrontation. Be honest in the face of haters. Be honest around women (that should be obvious). Nothing attracts women more than confidence, and by being real and honest all the time, even in the face of detractors, haters, criticism, etc, you demonstrate confidence. I cannot tell you how many times that I've taken the 'path lest walked' and it paid dividends later on in the night. Firstly, you get the aura of authority and respect by always voicing your true o…

I would say you more than likely weren't presenting yourself in the proper fashion. If every girl you are around gets the vibe you're wrapped up in school, a real braniac, whatever, that makes you seem distant and unavailable. It's totally fine to be into your school, job, hobbies (I myself am incredibly busy, I have class, two jobs, a very busy social life, etc), but you're issue probably was presentation. Either that, or you were going for the wrong type of girls. You, as I assume a nerdy type…

I'm not about to write out an explanation, sorry. I read the posting rules, but you're not my 5th grade teacher.

You don't know me, don't make assumptions. Just because I don't get off on making women cry doesn't make me a blue pill pussy. There's a fine balance, you just come off like a callous asshole when you put it like you did.

This type of dickhead attitude is exactly what he doesn't need. Take this misogynistic bullshit somewhere else, and take a Xanax to kill the power trip. Hope your happy and "manly" that you make your girlfriend cry and feel like shit. That's a real man, everyone.

I was watching an Inside the Actor's Studio with Dave Chappelle, and he said a worthwhile line: "I failed beyond my wildest expectations. And it was the best thing that ever happened to me." Essentially, what he's talking about is how we all need to experience failure, so then we learn how to deal with it. Failure is a natural, normal and essential part of seduction. I myself (since I started reading Seddit) am 6/6 on # - closes, so I still need to experience this myself.

I can see that. If you were obsessive over sex then you could mentally get tunnel vision. I typically don't have that problem, but I also don't struggle from AA so I tend to take it all in stride and not get worked up like some do.

Certainly. I think OP is trying to say he values feeling attractive more than getting laid. While that's certainly a valid view to have, in the case of seduction, sex is the goal. Attraction is how you get it. However, if sex isn't your goal, then why bother being attractive? Seriously, answer that.

Get the fuck outta here. And it's not better with someone you love. Good sex is good sex, period. I've had better sex with random girls because simply because they're better at sex. You can love your girlfriend, but she can still suck balls (literally) at sex.

I'm sorry but I couldn't disagree more. If attraction was the goal, why isn't the subreddit called r/attraction? We are trying to seduce i.e fuck women. If you're not trying to fuck anyone, why does it matter if they're attracted to you? It is entirely pointless to try to be attractive if you don't want to get laid. Why even bother? If you don't care if anyone finds you attractive, then quit bathing and shaving. You're just one of those guys that gets just as much of a thrill knowing women want …

Flawless. This is why you go for outcome independence and open sets with anyone. In this situation, it was literally that easy, she knew before she even got into town she was going to have sex with someone. Well played.

That's why I consciously don't allow myself to take it any further. I'm big on self-awareness.

Already did. Texted her the day after we talked and set it up, I teased her about coming and she seems like she plans on going. I'll see her again tonight at work and go from there, more updates coming soon.

Oh completely. Luckily, I'm going for that one and done on this. Literal open and close set. I read the exact same things, but this isn't r/psychology.

It's like a male shit test to women. She's either going to give you her real number or not, act confident about it. Remember, outcome independence (or at least the appearance of it).

Hmmm. You're making a lot of sense. It's hard to be so self critical, but it's the only way to get good at this. At least learning this shit is more fun. Worst comes to worst, first experience was # closing a 10. Will post updates as they become available. Thanks for the advice sir.

I'm on the cusp of friend zone after 3 text messages and talking to her twice in three days? Do explain that assertion.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
