That’s about hypergamy. Doesn’t mean she actually has cheated, just that she’s gonna leave you for someone better

I out earn my fiancé and am more educated and I’m not making tons of money. That doesn’t mean he’s not ambitious. But he will probably always earn less than me. Words mean what they actually mean.

There are greedy/status obsessed people from both genders. But men also really freaking love money and status. Look at doctors, lawyers, people in finance. With status comes power and lots of people want power. This isn’t a gender issue but a people being greedy issue.

You explained it decently. And your point doesn’t really hold that much water.

This happens in the south eastern United States

Ya we are raised with the fear of god in us for sure. And he hates hoes

There are some that do that, but still a lot of girls down here who don’t. Usually they are at least a little religious

I live in the Bible Belt in umc. So many of the girls are saving themselves but still get a tattoo for a dead relative or some bible quote
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/20 08:24 PM

Tattoos can be a hint when in combination with other factors, but I don’t think a single tattoo is that much of a hint if there are no other signs or promiscuity. I know plenty of virgin women with a single meaningful tattoo.

Well I mean the woman grows the baby the man doesn’t. That’s what I meant by created.

Literally every person who ever lived was created by a woman...

They think they do great on here though. It doesn’t matter if you poke holes in their logic, your examples and experiences don’t matter to them because it doesn’t fit their narrative

As long as it isn’t crazy, I’m not that concerned. I don’t want someone who has been with triple digits, but that’s so far out of the norm that I’m not really worried. Also I’m getting married to a man who has been with around the same number of people I’ve been with.

Men really don’t get that catcalling isn’t a compliment and isn’t something we value.

Oh, I’m super cute. I don’t find it offensive, unless someone says it with a super weird sarcastic or demeaning tone. If someone just calls me cute I take it as a compliment and say thank you. I am short and have a very young looking face. I’m 26 and people sometimes think I’m 16, so I get where some people might have a sore spot. I stopped caring about how young I look. It will be great when I’m 40.

Hard requirement 5’3, I’m 5’1, however I have dated guys from my height to 6’4. The shorter guys were no better or worse than the tall guys. Sometimes things just don’t work out.

F: Now that I’m in a serious ltr and engaged, my relationship takes up a lot of my energy and is one of the more important things in my life. However I didn’t really care too much when dating/trying to find someone. But finding an ltr was important to me, but i figured it would happen when it was supposed to happen
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/20 07:22 PM

Definitely depends on how fat and how she carries it. Being slightly chubby usually doesn’t hurt a cute girl. But being fat will impact her dating life. Women who carry weight in their butt and boobs won’t be as negatively effected as women who carry weight in their midsection.

This doesn’t sit with reality from my experience. Tons of ugly guys I knew in college did fine at bars and parties cause everyone was drunk and hanging out, but had horrible luck on tinder. I have a friend from highschool who all the girls had crushes on who couldn’t get more than 2 matches on tinder. Tinder is just the worst and I don’t get why anyone thinks tinder is a good idea. It only works for a small amount of people.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/20 01:40 PM

A lot of men don’t try except for online. Guys have a much better chance in real life. In person people drink, they can feel chemistry, they can smell (a big part of attraction), etc. A picture (and most guys take awful pictures) only shows one part of physical attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/20 01:30 PM
5

I think tinder profiles are the worst ways for a guy to base his attractiveness off of. Just based off the numbers, most guys don’t stand a chance on tinder. People are also much more forgiving in person than online.

Go to some big southern state schools. The hot sorority girls get with fat frat boys all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/20 12:43 PM

I see this bigger guy with a hot girl all the time. Both men and women can play either role. It’s pretty common on both sides.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/20 12:25 PM

I just don’t believe that, unless the guy just gives up. He might only be attractive to one woman out there but I believe everyone has someone that finds them attractive. People just give up and stop trying.

Ya, I’m pretty sure most people here haven’t studied genetics or anatomy to really know what they are talking about. Heck I’m pretty sure most haven’t formally studied psychology outside of a 101 college course. The people here say some crazy things
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/20 05:06 PM
3

Nah. I don’t think it’s rational at all, when the goal is to have find someone to date. If she’s telling you she likes you it’s completely irrational to just not believe her. It’s completely defeatist and isn’t logical if you actually want to achieve the original goal
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/20 04:04 PM

Well then I think you are destined to be sad and alone. If you think of women like that I don’t think you can ever be happy. Good luck to you though. I hope your attitude and life get better

Why do you care? She’s into you now. Teenagers are fucking dumb. Who cares what an 18 year old girl thinks. If she’s into you now, she’s into you now. That’s all that should matter imo. You will never know, so why let it eat at you and impact your current life?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/20 03:38 PM

Yep. I like men to be toned, but I can’t stand very muscular men. They look so scary and off putting. A healthy fit man is awesome, I don’t want a man who looks like a large wild animal.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/20 03:36 PM

Nah I went from dating a guy who was 6’4 to dating a guy who was 5’5 and definitely preferred the 5’5 guy. It’s definitely not a hard and fast rule. Edit: I preferred the 5’5 guy because he was just a much cooler person

Tall handsome men do get made fun of...heard of the dumb jock stereotype? People make fun of frat bro’s, jocks, meatheads, etc. Every person you have ever known has been picked on about something. The tall handsome guy might have some women throwing themselves at him, but he also has a ton of women who think he’s the absolute worst. I don’t believe you treat people how they treat you. You treat people how you want to be treated and walk away from people who don’t treat you that way. There are me…

Majority of women aren’t using online dating. And I am willing to bet a majority of women don’t have height requirements in their bios, the ones that do are just more memorable.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/20 03:09 PM
2

I agree. Most women want a guy who is taller than them. It’s worth noting that people who post a lot on non anonymous social media are looking for attention. They say controversial things to get attention and it works. A lot of these women who claim to have these standards in online dating, don’t hold these standards in reality. It’s like the crazy tumblr feminists, most feminists think they are crazy but the tumblr feminists are extremely loud and controversial and create “clickable” news. Same…

Yes but you are not the norm. I see 5’5 guys with women all the time. I personally know several short guys who do extremely well with women. They are all extremely charming, which helps. I also know bald guys who did very well with women in their 20s. They usually just shaved their heads instead of holding onto the hair they still had. Bald guys who are confident about being bald can do decently well. Everyone has a trait that gets made fun of or pick on. Our reaction to this, helps define who w…

I mean he can, but I don’t want that man either. Who wants to be with a hypocrite? A man that has a high n count but demands virgin women as a trash person who I hope doesn’t find his virgin woman. I don’t assume women have complete control the selection process. But she has complete control to reject any man for any reason and has many more options than most men.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/20 02:59 PM
1

We are just not gonna agree. Unless a girl with a high n count just really has a thing for virgin men, then she’s not gonna care and will find the best long term partner for her based on her values. He might not be what you think is the best partner, but it’s best to her.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/20 02:52 PM

Do you know how rare it is for average women to actually stick to those standards when dating. Even in their 20s? Do you not look around and see average women dating average to below average men? Because this happens constantly. Even in college. You have bought into the incel nonsense way too much if you truly believe even most women act like this. The only thing I would agree with is hair, because most men don’t start balding until they are past their 20s anyway. It’s not a crazy thing to expec…

Ok. So i don’t like guns. I’m not gonna ever be with a gun nut, and don’t give any shits if the gun enthusiast wants to date me or not. Better?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/20 02:48 PM

I do not agree that it’s a reasonable assumption. To make that assumption, you have to agree that people act the same. But individuals are hard to predict.

I was talking about a guy who had no luck with women in his teens and 20s. How do you know the woman that wants to be with you now, wouldn’t have wanted to be with you before? Unless you are trying to pick up girls from your old highschool. It still makes no sense. It’s shooting yourself in the foot before you even get past the starting line
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/20 02:34 PM
62

So if you didn’t meet a woman until you were both in your 30s, she is attracted to you and enthusiastically wants to have sex with you, it doesn’t count? The idea that if you don’t find someone when you are 18 that all of the future women you meet will not find you attractive is just crazy.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/20 02:23 PM

I just don’t get this at all. If I just stopped doing my chores and only did them when I wanted, it would be extremely disrespectful to my partner. I care about his comfort. I expect him to care about my comfort and do his part as well. It’s not a Cold War. If he can’t do a chore for some reason I pick up the slack. If I can’t do a chore for some reason he picks up the slack. We communicate and respect each other and try to make each other’s lives as easy as possible.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/20 02:20 PM

Who cares if choices are limited a little bit? I’m a liberal and that limits my choices with nazi men, but I don’t give a fuck about that because I don’t want them either. I’m looking for one man. Not all of them.

I think this might be the dumbest thing I’ve read on here today.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/20 01:59 PM

Lots isn’t a majority. It’s just a large amount of women. If only 30% of women who are 40 can have healthy children without intervention, that’s still lots of women.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/20 01:53 PM
2

I love my chore chart! It makes it so everything in the house gets done and holds us both accountable. That’s part of being an adult. Being accountable to your partner. How is it a dictatorship? If the chores are agreed upon by both partners, it’s in no way a dictatorship, just basic responsibilities
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/20 01:51 PM
5

I don’t know why guys think most people are having tons of casual sex to begin with. Most men and women aren’t having casual sex. Casual sex isn’t a realistic goal for most men because a lot of women have zero desire to participate in anything other than ltrs.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/20 12:36 PM
1

Um if he’s not actually fulfilling his agreed upon duties then that’s still on him. It’s not hard to get a chore chart and act like a responsible human being. Also if she is getting mad at him for not dusting once, she’s crazy. If he consistently isn’t dusting and putting it off for her to do, then he’s a dick
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/20 12:34 PM
1

What’s wrong with wanting everything split, if it’s discussed ahead of time and everyone knows their household responsibilities. I cook and my fiancé does the dishes. I clean the bathrooms, he cleans the floors. It’s not hard to just talk about what chores we hate doing and what chores we don’t mind doing.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/20 11:48 AM

Yes they do. If they can’t find something about me that they are physically attracted to, they can leave.

Well he’s attractive, fit, and in the military. She’s attractive, fit, and her sons are all joining the military and she’s very involved. They fit extremely well together. He could definitely be with a younger woman if he wanted to.

My aunt just had a baby at 42 without medical intervention, other than typical gynecologist stuff you would do for any baby. It’s not gonna happen for every woman, and there are risks. However lots of women can have healthy children in their early forties

A 28 year old married my 42 year old single mother aunt. They had a kid together a year later. Some guys like older women.

She tells him from the beginning she doesn’t want a serious relationship with the guy. He persists and gives in and the feelings never develop. It has nothing to do with him opening up, she was never really feeling him to begin with.

Sure if it’s a one off thing, that’s not his league. But if it’s even somewhat consistent that he’s taking home the two am bar girl, then that’s his league, full stop. It doesn’t matter that his criteria change if he can’t get those hotter girls in the first place. He might get settled for eventually if he makes enough money.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/20 05:12 PM

I mean women do this as well. Nuns and virgin women have been a major part of religion throughout time.

100% yes. Why didn’t he close earlier with a girl in his league? The 2 am bar girl is his league

I can’t fathom hating all men. I’ve met and been friends with too man good men. That said I know down right horrible men who use and abuse every woman they get with. I think having a healthy skepticism is alright but I don’t think believing all men are toxic and horrible is a healthy frame of mind to ever live in.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/20 11:32 AM
4

I also don’t these high quality men are the majority and most of the ones who will commit, do and youngish, before 25. So there aren’t a lot of high quality men on the market most of the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/20 07:25 PM
3

No, I believe there are quality men from all walks of life with all different kinds of careers, hobbies, and interests
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/20 07:12 PM
1

A social circle generally isn’t all that many people, at least the people one is very close with. I don’t mean there are only two people worth committing to. And I was talking about romantic relationships anyway for a lifelong commitment.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/20 07:08 PM
7

Because they are looking in the wrong places. These guys are in church or at the library. I also grew up umc and was constantly around doctors kids and lawyers kids so that’s who I usually dated.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/20 06:50 PM
2

It matters to some girls a whole lot in highschool and college. Women love seeing decently attractive men with kids or playing with puppies. It adds to attractiveness for sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/20 06:16 PM
3

Yep. I mean if a guy is gonna treat me poorly either way, I’d rather be with the hot guy. But I’ve never been with a hot guy that treated me poorly. Heck my fiancé is the hottest guy I’ve dated and he treats me like a princess. There is a reason there is the fat and jolly stereotype, because if you are ugly/fat you need something else to pull people in for them to like you. Having a bad attitude only works for like 1% of the population.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/20 05:46 PM
0

Yep. Me either. The only guy that cheated was a low quality super short guy I was giving a chance. All the hot guys I’ve dated were super committed. Break ups have always been over distance, despite yo have children (not marriage, they all wanted that), or religion.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/20 05:31 PM
8

I’m gonna say most people aren’t worth committing to, to most people. You will only mesh with a small fraction of people and no one else is worth committing to.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/20 05:17 PM
3

Right? Some people have unreasonable expectations of relationships. One of the reasons people advocate for being yourself when finding a partner is because everyone ages and looks worse as they get older (50+). You want to be with someone you actually like being around and care about, not someone you just wanna fuck
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/20 05:14 PM
1

Right? One base pair change can impact so much of our genetic code. Just because we share a lot of common dna doesn’t mean there aren’t significant differences in phenotype
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/20 04:35 PM
5

The men who aren’t ready to commit aren’t the kind of men I want to be with. But I also have never had a hard time getting quality men (attractive with high earning capacity) to commit to me, so this seems rather foreign. There are plenty of guys who want relationships and don’t want to sleep with tons of women, and instead want to form a family.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/20 03:53 PM
2

I never said he would pair up with a hottie. He’d probably pair up with an average girl in real life, unless he was a doctor or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 03:53 PM
2

He’s really not that bad looking. He looks like any average guy you would see, maybe slightly above. He’s a good weight and has a decent pleasant looking face. He wouldn’t slay as a regular person but he definitely would do alright.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 02:51 PM
6

Tom Felton is pretty hot
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 02:43 PM
5

He’s definitely not ugly. He’s not hot but he isn’t ugly. He has a pretty symmetrical face.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 02:43 PM
1

I mean you really only need one woman out there to click with you. Sure having casual sex and all that is fun, but a loving ltr is better than nothing
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 01:49 PM
9

Yes, even the unattractive men in Hollywood are still above average to average for the most part. Same with ugly women in Hollywood. Heck the reason Ryan gosling got the part in the notebook was because the director thought he was ugly. Hollywood version of unattractiveness shouldn’t be trusted.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 01:37 PM
2

I guess I just haven’t seen the short guy hate, personally. The short men I knew who did poorly with women, were extremely shy/no confidence. A lot of the short guys I knew in college did great with women. One of them actually looked like a leprechaun and he got several short term relationships and had a threesome with a couple of my cute friends. I’m sure there are cruel women out there who are hateful about guys being short, but who wants to with someone who acts like that anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 01:33 PM
3

I mean there is an increase in men who just don’t want to be fathers. They want to have sex, but not be dads. Really there is an increase in young people in general who don’t want kids at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 01:27 PM
2

I’m also extremely short so I don’t mind if a guy is short. I date all over the height spectrum. My first boyfriend was super short and my biggest crush was on a slightly below average height guy. I will say short guys dont approach me nearly as often as tall and average height guys do. This has happened even more so as I’ve gotten older.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 01:19 PM

Just be a little flirty at a bar and you will be swarmed with male attention. It’s crazy. I don’t get this at all
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 01:16 PM

Not everyone who has childhood trauma was hit. There are tons of kids who had addict parents who were neglectful or extremely emotionally abusive. There are also kids who weren’t hit but were sexually abused. Abuse is not uncommon

Almost everyone I’ve talked to about incels don’t hate them because they are virgins. They hate incels because of the crazy shit they say. I don’t think anyone has a problem with virgins who don’t act like “incels”

I am a girl and was only taught to cook. I was never taught how to clean or how often. Not all parents are created equal. Some people are just bad parents who don’t teach their kids anything. They get them through highschool and then send them off into the world.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 01:04 PM
1

I mean I can’t stand the mess. It drives me insane. So if he doesn’t pick it up, I live in an environment that drives me crazy. Luckily I’m with someone who does his fair share of chores and doesn’t need to be told to. In fact he has to tell me to do more...
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 12:55 PM

I have dated two shorter men. And I thought I was gonna marry one of them, but he dumped me because I got into college and was moving away. The other tried to get way too serious way too fast, introduced me to his parents and told me he loved me after knowing me for 3 weeks. There might be tons of reasons someone doesn’t continue dating you that have nothing to do with height.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 12:26 PM

These guys see a minority of women who act like this and assume it’s all of us. There are so many chads that get rejected every day because of the way they act. A lot of women do want their man to be nice. They just don’t want him to be a doormat with no opinions of his own who won’t ever stand up for themselves, except in extreme anger (NiceGuy tm).
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 12:23 PM

Exactly. My fiancé is outwardly kind of an asshole, I guess. He has a dark sense of humor and is sarcastic, but so am I. He’s also one of the sweetest men I’ve ever met. He actively cares for others and wants to be a positive impact on those around him. He was a CNA taking care of the elderly during highschool. The list goes on and on about how nice he is, but it’s not his only characteristic. I wouldn’t have known how nice he was if there hadn’t been an intense chemistry there to begin with.

Right? Also most people never took the tumblr feminists seriously. Just like people don’t take the “people on Twitter say blank blank blank is extremely offensive” most of us know that when you read the article they find 3 tweets with no retweets or likes that fit a divisive narrative. I’ve never actually met a feminist who hated men overall. Sure they hate some of the underlying structures of society that favor men, but not men overall. They might hate men who do certain things but not all men.

I have tons of friends of both genders. Only a few I’d say are still super close friends who I talk to everyday or see weekly. But I have tons of friends who I still trust and talk to on a very regular basis. I’ve always been good at making friends. Not all my friends have similar beliefs. I have extreme conservative friends to extreme liberal friends.

I think this all depends on the situation. Was no porn an agreed upon thing. Is she not putting out for legitimate reasons (recent death in the family, just gave birth, recent trauma) and how long is the dry spell lasting? If it’s preagreed upon that porn is a no no and he does it anyway while she’s recovering from a medical thing, ya she has every right to be mad. It’s because gay men often come out as bi first. At least where I’m from in the Bible Belt. I think in a few years this won’t be as much of a problem. Less people use bi as a transitional stage nowadays. It’s hard to unlearn watching families break up over this kind of thing.

I don’t think it’s a game to win money...I think it’s about love. That’s what most people are trying to find. If the guy is gay, he doesn’t really love her (in a romantic way) does he? It’s also a natural reaction to being lied to or being around women who were lied to for decades about their partner’s orientation. I wanted to make sure he actually liked me, and he did. We split all the bills, but I pay slightly more, and I’m gonna support him next year while he finishes a second degree. People who tend to stay in abusive relationships also grew up in abusive relationships. Living/staying in an environment where you produce a large amount of adrenaline. It definitely can be a hinderance because a lot of women will have a hard time relating to you. But it doesn’t mean there isn’t a chance of meeting someone who you connect with. Casual relationships might be a bit harder but a ltr isn’t some unachievable goal.

Are you talking about women who didn’t know you when you were young and are now trying to date you when you are older? I can understand if the actual girl who rejected you and was mean wanted to date you, I can’t understand if it isn’t a specific girl who already rejected you in the past

I mean my fiancé and I know all the passwords but we also don’t snoop through each other’s stuff. We use the computers for streaming cable or movies we already own. But other than that we don’t really have a reason to go through each other’s stuff

Right? I am not a snooper at all. I don’t ever think to snoop through my SOs things. It’s not female nature it’s just some women being shitty and convincing people it’s normal when it definitely isn’t.

The asexual persona in my opinion is just someone who I am not repulsed by but also have no desire to engage physically with. They aren’t bad guys but a lot of them are extremely shy/self conscious, have horrible closed off postures instead of open inviting postures, can’t carry a banter conversation, and still dress like they are 14. A sexual persona is gonna be confident, approachable, witty/charismatic, and stylish. Even attractive guys can be asexual if they don’t exude sexual traits. And av…

2) yes you were still free to pick it even if it didn’t occur to you. You still knew it was a city and could have picked it. 3) people make decisions based on all kinds of reasons. Saying no one knows why they make a decision is dumb. Just because someone doesn’t exercise their ability to have free will doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. If it weren’t people would never do miraculous things that people thought were impossible. Everyone has the ability to think about their decisions and make choices …

What do you mean? We all have the ability to make decisions and think about all the possible consequences of our actions. People think independently all the time and make decisions based on that independent thinking. Nothing is predetermined. Every choice you make is free will. You always have the ability to choose another option.

I genuinely don’t get how people think there is no free will at all. And it kind of invalidated this post imo. People have so many variables in their life they can control. The only one stopping someone from being happy is themselves. Got depression? Get on antidepressants and see a therapist. Ugly? Workout a lot and develop a good sense of style and humor. Shy? Practice talking to people and come out of the shell. Sure there are things we can control but there are so many things within our cont…

It’s definitely possible, they just aren’t willing to do it. They could but they won’t. Most people end up with someone around equivalent to their own looks. Sure there are physical things you can’t change, but you can definitely over come them by playing to you strengths and having a confident demeanor.

That’s different for different women. I like to be with a long term partner I trust personally. I also like lots of foreplay like making out and oral first. Definitely helps me to relax into it. Some women don’t need that and just need to like you to let go. Some women need a massage and extreme pampering to let go.

Well sure having a disorder is going to make changing a lot harder. There are therapist who specialize in deal with patients with certain disorders and are a great resource. I mean this is gonna depend only the girl. I wouldn’t want any of those things, maybe cuddles afterwards sometimes but not normally. You can definitely change your mindset about things you dislike and learn to like them. Your likes and dislikes can very much change with an improved thought process. I think most women assume attractive is just implied. Like it’s common sense. Women don’t do direct communication, when my friends said what they were looking for I always knew attractive was implied. It took incels for me to realize that some people really have to be told things like that

The actual problem is that women, especially when young, don’t really know what they want. Puberty is confusing. They are told what to want from parents, the smart nice guy, and think that’s what they do want. And they do want that, they just also want that guy to be hot and confident.

I just don’t see this in reality. The only times I see this are when the man only shows emotion through extreme outbursts instead of in a mature way. Bad sex is the standard that most women receive. Especially with ons and short term relationships. Many women rarely orgasm and some women will never ever experience one. Washing too much can make your hair more greasy. You are stripping your hair of natural oils when you wash it and your glands start over producing oils to compensate. I would go see a good stylist and ask them how to maintain your specific hair type. Most salons have people that can help find good products for this. You can also go to ultra beauty and ask the hair stylists there for advice. They have helped me with hair troubles many times!

To add to this, there are male hiring incentives for female dominated fields. Are you a guy who wants to train marine mammals? Guess what? It’s much easier to get an internship and get your foot in the door because there is such an extreme shortage of men. You just don’t hear about it as much

It’s not most men. But the men that harass, grab, blow up from rejection, etc do it often. So women encounter it often. Just like the vast majority of men don’t rape, but most rapists are serial rapists and impact a bunch of women. So no most men aren’t that evil. There are evil people of both genders though
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 10:08 PM

I don’t think most guys are gonna become the mythical chad. But I think average guys obsessed with casual sex will be doomed to struggle. If average guys learn charisma somewhat early they can live a happy normal life and settle down with someone the hopefully care about. Most people aren’t so hideous they can’t find someone. But looking on tinder or old is probably not the best option. Fomo and comparing your life to others will only lead to depression and disaster.

Sure some women are hypergamous. But plenty of women “date down” at least looks wise. Plenty of ugly men date women hotter than them. Women tend to go for the best man they can according to their values. To some that’s physical attractiveness. To others it’s personality. To some it’s money. So if hypergamy is always trying to be with the best. The best can look extremely different to different women.

I just don’t see any woman actually fulfilled by that role. Even my grandmothers were not fulfilled by the role. /r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 03:06 PM

I call my father, dad though and that’s close enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 03:02 PM

I mean that sounds incredibly weak to me, even women in my sorority who wanted to be sahm wanted to be an equal and not submissive, except during sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 02:56 PM

I think it’s more about where you live. I’m from a small city in the south. Most people here are somewhat conservative. Almost none of my female friends ever talk about sex. Most of us were terrified of sex until college. I could potentially see where girls from bigger cities don’t have these reservations about sex and dating
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 02:53 PM
1

I can understand submissiveness during sex. But that’s about it. I was raised to be self sufficient and never rely on men (my father taught me that). I don’t get why people need to be submissive to their partners. Have some confidence in yourself and your decisions. I can’t imagine on relying on someone else to make decisions for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 02:41 PM

An authority figure isn’t necessarily a father figure. There are authority figures in my life who I don’t view in a paternalistic way. The term “daddy” implies way more than an authority figure. But also I don’t see why anyone would want to be with someone who has “authority” over them. I don’t like to be controlled at all.

A lot of the men here value casual sex, so they see making a man wait as manipulation. I like you have generally met men in real life that value relationships and are looking for love. This sub and manosphere subs tend to be filled with unsuccessful men (especially once the incel subs were banned) who project all their insecurities on everyone else as well. This ends up putting people at odds. It’s not all men, heck I don’t think it’s most men. Relationships tend to be two halves of a whole. You…

It’s extremely cringey. Who would ever wanna fuck a father figure in their life? It’s just gross. Screams incest, daddy issues, and controls issues. I can’t imagine why anyone finds it hot. It’s revolting to me. Edit: also I’m from Alabama and there is such a stereotype about incest here that I probably over correct to a certain extent.

And yes you are a complete psycho. I don’t care if it’s not civil. The fact you think this way, shows an extreme lack of empathy for your fellow people. Men can’t exist without women and women can’t exist without men. We are two equal parts of a whole.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 01:46 PM
2

You definitely sound like a psycho. I don’t bother with hypotheticals like these. We don’t live in that world. We are not inferior. We are life givers. That’s not an inferior spot. We are made to be somewhat worshipped (historically women are wonderful effect and women always being protected except if their society lost in war or the woman was a slave). Not an inferior spot. Different doesn’t mean one is more inferior than the other. I’m smarter, make more money, and am more socially aware than …

I didn’t say it advocated for actual commitment. It has advocated for lying to women saying you want commitment to get laid then just ghosting. I’ve seen many posts and many comments advocate for this strategy.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 01:26 PM
7

RO advocates for lying all the time. I’ve seen posts where the advocate for telling women you want to commit to them and then just ghost after getting laid. That’s 100% awful and lying. Self improvement and developing skills aren’t lying.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 01:21 PM

Also I don’t believe in submitting to men. I am my partners equal. Heck he thinks I’m better than him (he’s wrong but he still thinks I am). I lead in certain decisions and he leads in others. There is mutual respect there. Women are not made to be submissive to men. Also I’ve never read fds a day in my life
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 01:07 PM

I mean I’m 26 and happily engaged. I don’t force a man to do anything. I’m just not putting out till I am comfortable (usually about a month or so) and if he isn’t ok with this, then we aren’t compatible and there is nothing wrong with that. I don’t think it’s a game, I just don’t like having sex with people I don’t care somewhat deeply about. It grosses me out. I want a man who has the same values as I do. And I have had no trouble finding attractive men with my values. I’m sure I’ve scared som…

I mean if we are going on dates and spending time together I expect some level of exclusivity if he ever wants to have sex with me. Maybe not in the first few dates but after a few if he is still hanging out with other girls he can gtfo. There are plenty of fish in the sea who are respectful. Why settle for someone like that?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 12:30 PM
4

Well lots of guys are actually decent and won’t sleep with other girls while dating you before sex happens. Only low value men pull the kind of moves you are talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 12:20 PM
0

Sure, some of the stuff is a little bit relatable. Like don’t settle is relatable. Waiting for sex is something relatable that most women already do (I don’t believe in the 3 month rule or dating other people) I don’t think most of the sub is accurate though, its toxic and narcissistic a lot of the time. But also there are tons of women who have never even heard of reddit let alone fds
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 11:49 AM
1

Fds is a small community on reddit. Not the average woman
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 11:40 AM
2

I don’t think that’s most women’s thought process. It’s waiting for sex because she wants to get to know him and wants to make sure he really likes her. If she’s upfront I don’t see how that’s manipulative.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 11:29 AM
0

What are women doing that’s manipulative? Waiting for sex till they are comfortable?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 11:13 AM
3

It’s important to look out for red flags. Not all relationships are sunshine and rainbows. If a guy is holding out and making me work super hard for commitment, even though he likes me and we get along, then he’s being manipulative and I don’t wanna be with him.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 11:06 AM
6

I don’t care if he tries a little bit while we are making out, but he better back off the second I say no. I don’t put up with persistent pestering for sex. When I’m ready I will let you know.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 11:04 AM

Creepy is more about presence and behavior. The idea that being ugly automatically makes someone creepy is just not reality. The way someone dresses, styles their hair, smells, posture, confidence all play a role in whether or not the guy comes across as creepy. The idea that attractive people aren’t creepy is also not reality. Plenty of hot men are absolute creeps.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 10:53 AM
8

I care more about whether or not he will embarrass me around friends or family. I’m a very social person and I need someone who has some social acumen.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 02:59 AM

Not at all
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 12:19 AM

Not single anymore haha. I can empathize with men and getting rejected. But I don’t empathize with men who get all pissy when I don’t want to have sex right away. If we have been texting awhile and I decide I’m not feeling it, I get why he would be disappointed, but that is not what normally happens

I have had several men harass me because I didn’t wanna go to their place 20 minutes after matching with them. I told them maybe after we message for a few days and go on a date. They blew the hell up accusing me of being horrible things. All because they expected sex right away. So yes. Men on the internet and dating apps are way too sexual. Hell I can post on anonymous apps just implying I’m a woman and I’ll get tons of dms from all over, even when I haven’t posted any pictures.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/20 08:28 PM
10

No? I’m a girl. But the idea of calling a lover “daddy” is just absolutely gross. I can’t even begin to imagine why anyone is turned on by that.

The vacation thing doesn’t sound like wanting to be treated like a child, that sounds like you prioritize different things. Are there no things she takes the lead on? Also everyone likes being treated to stuff every once in awhile. Does she never surprise you with anything? I surprise my fiancé with his favorite snacks or little gifts all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/20 08:12 PM

I’m sure some do, but I sure as hell don’t. I can’t stand guys who try to tell me what to do and dictate my life. My fiancé and I are equals. There are things I lead on, our social life for one. There are things he leads on, he’s in accounting so he is in charge of finances. I take the lead when it comes to our home and cooking. He takes the lead in gardening and most of the outdoors stuff. We still help each other with all of these tasks though. If he needs help in the garden I am always there …

Most women don’t say looks don’t matter at all, they assume when you ask what women want in a guy good looks is already assumed. Who doesn’t want an attractive partner. I would never have thought I need to clarify that because it’s innately obvious.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/20 05:53 PM
9

They refused to believe what they see with their own eyes. They also would ask “what do women want” and women reply with relationship requirements, not with what gets them horny. But ya I have no clue how a person can grow up around women and have no clue they like attractive men. It’s literally in our faces everywhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/20 05:52 PM
1

I think you are more spot on with the home wrecker/std analysis. Most women I know don’t really care one way or the other if a girl is a slut, but care a whole lot if the girl is knowingly sleeping with married or taken men. I think other women hate sluts because it brings the value of sex down and some women have a very traditional moral view of sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/20 04:17 PM

I am going into a male dominated field, because the career path is stable and the average age of someone in my field is 55 so a lot of people will be retiring soon. It is also a field I’m passionate about and is very fulfilling to me. I don’t care if the field is male dominated. I also have way more female friends currently than I do male friends, even though I’m around men a lot. I think most women in these fields just really like the field regardless of the amount of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/20 03:34 PM

My friend group had a good mix. My main group of girlfriends don’t talk about sex at all. We were all raised in the bible belt and sex is just not something we talk about. I know one of my best friends isn’t a virgin anymore because she’s married. But my other dear friend would rather walk on coals than talk about her sex life. I have a couple friends who won’t ever shut up about sex. It seems like there is no happy medium
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/20 06:29 AM
4

I like sex and don’t really try and “get something else out of it”. I will say that bad sex is just the worst and for me personally sex with someone I care about and have a deep connection is just better. I enjoy sex with my partner for the sake of sex because we have a great sexual relationship and it’s fun.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/20 05:53 PM

I don’t think happiness comes from another person no matter how perfect. If I’m not happy with myself no partner is gonna end up making me happy

To add a bit up your comment about high class women. They will date drug dealers, however it’s usually the frat boy drug dealer or the dealer who basically only deals enough to cover his and her habit and sells among friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/20 03:00 PM

Sure people already have roombas. But that’s a cleaning robot, not a sex robot. Sex robots will still have tons of social stigma.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/20 12:38 PM

I don’t think they are gonna do as well as people on ppd claim. If they ever do get hyper realistic in our lifetimes the average guy probably can’t afford it. There will be a lot of social stigma against spending tons of money on a sex doll. It will look extremely desperate and anyone who wants to potentially date a real woman in the future probably won’t get one. Just like sex dolls now.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/20 12:00 PM

This sounds about exactly right! Learned I could do the latter around 18 as well and it made life so much easier
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/20 11:13 AM

Exactly. Most people spend way less time with friends when they get in an ltr. Now it’s not ok to completely stop talking to friends but there is going to be a noticeable difference in amount of time with random friends

Spent most of the day having sex. Then went to some parades because it’s mardis gras! I ended up catching wii games. We got ribs and watched adventure time and I made dessert. Was all in all a good day! I got him a posture corrector he’s been wanting and he got me flowers and a really nice candle I’ve been wanting. He knew not to get me chocolates because chocolate is gross

My guy has been complaining about back pain and saying he wants a posture corrector so I got him one and I’m making a fancy dinner with chocolate covered strawberries. /r/PurplePillDebate14/02/20 02:55 PM

If they ask you about it and you lie that’s not good. Building a relationship based on lies isn’t a good thing. But if they never ask I don’t see a reason to just tell someone if you don’t want to. I tell boys about my history because I don’t want to lose them later on if it ever comes up but that’s just me.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/20 02:44 AM

Also great idea

Gymbros are annoying. The guys yelling super loud and throwing their weights at the gym are obnoxious. The guys who are so obsessed with the gym and their muscles and only talk about gains and their diet are obnoxious. I don’t care if you lift but don’t be obnoxious about it.

I mean that sounds like a crazy woman. Who doesn’t like sex? If you just cut him off then ya he’s justified in leaving. If you don’t trust your spouse to act in good faith why are you with them?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 07:15 PM

The in sickness part is key. Not just withholding. Then ya that’s completely unfair. But if I physically can’t due to a medical issue he better be willing to stay with me
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 06:51 PM
1

If he isn’t committed to me “in sickness and in health” then he’s not worth the time of day. If a man vows to that, that’s what he should do. If he can’t handle that then don’t make that vow
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 06:39 PM
1

I mean that’s the decision process. If I’m gonna be the person potentially having sex with the guy he better be high value to me. Otherwise some other girl can have him.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 05:37 PM
0

I mean again, it doesn’t matter to me if other people see him as high value. He’s not high value to me. All that matters to me is if I see him as high value as I’m the one who will be having sex with the guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 05:32 PM

That’s fine, stick to believing all men are the same. I have a different life experience than you, that’s all.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 05:16 PM

I mean I’ve only ever gotten high value men aka attractive men who have high paying jobs who many women want. They have all waited. Idk why you think they don’t wait if they want you. They definitely do.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 05:15 PM
0

Well I think he’s low value because he’s a cheater.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 05:14 PM
1

I mean that’s why love is supposed to be about more than just sex. I’d stay with my partner if his dick stopped working due to a medical issue (if there was nothing wrong and he just stopped being attracted maybe not). It can still be very much a relationship. It doesn’t mean there aren’t affectionate and intimate moments that would make it a relationship. Yes sex is important but it shouldn’t be the defining part of a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 05:14 PM
3

Eh that’s not long if there is an actual reason. Like death in the family, medication issue that is still getting worked out, tearing from pregnancy. It’s way too long for just “I don’t feel like it”
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 05:09 PM

What happens if the wife gets in an accident? Is he just going to abandon her? If men are that weak they deserve all the disdain they get

If they weren’t willing to wait, we don’t share the same values and is inherently not better.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 04:58 PM

There are many forms of intimacy and affection. As long as sex isn’t completely off the table and we are still intimate in other ways, feeling unloved by a short dry spell is ridiculous. All couples go through lulls for all kinds of reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 04:27 PM

Ya it will improve. You might not get extreme results with women but it will improve slightly. Probably not gonna get “Stacy” but a slightly chubby “Becky”.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 04:22 PM

Sure for some women, I’ve never experienced an orgasm without the love aspect. I know lots of women who don’t as well.

Then again, not high value.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 04:18 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 02:56 PM

When you love and trust you can let go and get out of your head. A lot of women’s orgasms are mental.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 02:49 PM

You are just wrong and projecting your own lack of drive onto other women.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 02:45 PM
6

Right? I went into my field so that I wouldn’t ever have to depend on a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 02:43 PM
1

Oh ya no I wouldn’t actually sleep with him. He’s not my type. I can appreciate it from afar but men I’ve meet in real life that looks even remotely like him just does nothing for me. And what family did he tear apart?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 02:24 PM
4

I think whether a man is high value or not is in the eye of the beholder. A man not willing to wait is not high value to me. I don’t have a hard and fast rule but I want to feel secure in the man before I sleep with him. If he doesn’t like that then next. Plenty of wonderful men are willing to wait.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 02:19 PM
2

I mean sex is somewhat important and completely cutting a man off just because isn’t ok (there are legitimate reasons like you mentioned) but I agree someone requiring sex within 3 dates is just ridiculous to me. My fiancé and I waited around 4.5 weeks.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 02:10 PM
8

Exactly! All the videos of him being an amazing father and husband. Just sploosh. It’s way more than just his appearance.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 01:28 PM
2

Oh well ya, I mean it’s not a conscious thing, but gender comes from sperm. So “fault” but not something anyone can actually control.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 01:08 PM
1

Nope both of those things are extremely toxic and wouldn’t be tolerated at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 12:20 PM
2

I’ve studied genetics...men have XY and women have XX. Women can only provide X chromosomes, while men can provide either. So the sperm is the deciding factor over gender. If the speed contains an X chromosome the baby will be female, if the sperm provides a Y chromosome the baby will be male.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 12:19 PM
1

Sure if you let the anger out productively like with a punching bag. Punching walls or yelling at people out of anger is absolutely worse than crying
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 12:17 PM
2

I mean I know men that will have anger outbursts and hit a wall or slam their fists real hard on their desks or yell at their wives and berate them over small shit. Most of the men that I know who do this also have severe mental health issues like ptsd or childhood abuse
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 11:42 AM
2

Sometimes it’s not about fixing the problem. Crying is a good way to get the feeling out. While breakdowns in public aren’t a good thing, crying in and of itself can be a great way to actually move on from the stress. I know i always feel 1000% percent better after a good long cry when I’m upset. Just like when I’m nauseous I feel much better after I throw up than before.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 11:40 AM
5

Right? I’ve never been repulsed by a man crying. I don’t get wet from seeing it, it’s not a turn on in the moment. But the intimacy and being their for the men I care about is important to me. Then a few hours after we have cheer him up sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 11:35 AM
3

I mean ya there are some psycho women out there. Don’t stick your dick in crazy
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 11:32 AM

Even more ironic that sperm determines the gender of the baby. So it was his own damn fault he wasn’t having sons
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 11:28 AM

Cuckoldry is unknowingly raising another man’s children. Adoption has always been seen as a noble thing. Many people who adopt for non fertility related reasons also have biological children of their own as well. Also some people don’t have such cynical views of the world.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 11:26 AM

Depends how promiscuous he is but no to the rest. A few fwb, ons, str and an ltr I have no problem with. A guy who has 20+ partners maybe not

One of the best ways for guys to improve is to figure out what his type is and what kind of girls he attracts and accept that. Game within that group of girls. Some guys who are exceptionally ugly will have a hard time but most average guys will at least get an ltr by playing into their type

I agree. It’s nonsense.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 10:01 PM

I still don’t want to be in a relationship with someone who’s preferences are gonna change into not me, into literally the opposite gender of me. For nsa I don’t really care. But I know too many people who have gotten hurt over exactly that situation
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 08:15 PM

What? I said there are definitely bi men and women out there. That doesn’t change the fact that a lot of gay men use being bi as a stepping stone to coming out as gay.

I mean he supports me working. He told me from the beginning he wouldn’t be with a woman who doesn’t have career and life goals outside of having kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 06:13 PM

I mean I could but I also love what I do and want to work. My career path is something I am very much fulfilled by. Why would I give that up if I don’t have to?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 06:01 PM

I was in day care at that age while my mom finished her degree. I don’t see anything wrong with children being in daycare. If it’s a good daycare it helps children learn socialization skills very early. Really good daycares start teaching children how to say their abcs and count that early.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 05:57 PM

I know for me, every openly gay man I know first came out as bi. I know there are people who are legitimately bi, but in my experience it’s the first step to admitting you are gay. Maybe it’s because I grew up in a very conservative southern state and men are scared to come out. But heck even my best friend first came out to me as bi and dated a girl for almost a year before he came out as gay. There is just an irrational fear that you are beard and that he doesn’t really love you romantically.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 05:34 PM

I mean it depends on the girl. I personally don’t like bullies but a tough man who is seen as a “bad boy” doesn’t bug me.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 05:30 PM

Right? It’s 2-4 years. Yes it might put me a little behind but it’s not gonna tank a career
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 04:58 PM

I mean we have discussed him being the primary caregiver. It all just depends on who is making more money when we decide to have a kid. I also am going into a field where I don’t have to worry very much about job security. We will always need sanitation and drinking water
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 04:55 PM
7

Well my fiancé wants me to work. Maybe go part time when they are too young for daycare but a lot of men don’t want a stay at home wife. They want a two income household. Also my job is something I enjoy and I get to be a contributing part of society. I make sure communities have clean water.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 04:05 PM
3

None of them expect that
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 04:01 PM

I mean I don’t want an Mrs degree. The point wasn’t to get a man. But I tend to date in my socioeconomic class. I value my own intelligence more than I value having a man in my life. And it’s worked for me my entire life. I’ve never had trouble attracting high earners like me.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 03:51 PM

I mean I tend to date doctors, lawyers, engineers, and finance professionals who value my career. But you believe what you want to believe.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 03:48 PM

I mean I didn’t go into my career to land a man, I went into my high status career so I wouldn’t have to rely on a man one day. So we would be equals

Pair bonding was coined by abstinence only extremely religious educators to scare women into not having sex. There is no science to back it up though and I have never seen this happen in real life. Couples who get together super young are more likely to divorce, why would that be if their pair bonding was so much stronger than everyone else’s?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 02:27 PM
1

I’m extremely introspective. Most of my issues stem from childhood trauma not from past sexual partners. I don’t believe in the pair bonding thing at all. I think it’s complete and utter bs.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 02:10 PM

It’s either low effort trolling or an insane incel
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 01:54 PM

I mean this happens with very young girls. When playing with dolls/barbies and such. I had entire soap opera level dramas when I was like 7-8 not really knowing anything about how much men wanted sex explicitly.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 08:01 AM

That sounds absolutely gross. I have no desire to see that. At all. Literally nothing about that sounds appealing
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 04:12 AM

I am more into romance. Porn is literally just sex. No emotion. It grosses me out. I’d rather watch a rom com than porn any day. Porn is just nasty
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 03:59 AM

I mean I hate porn. I accept most men watch it, but I don’t want to know about it. Porn is absolutely repulsive to me. I have tried to watch it and it does the exact opposite of turn me on. I feel absolute disgust watching it.

I mean I see nothing wrong with grandparents and aunts and uncles all helping out with child rearing. Hell my moms best friends would all hangout together all day and raise us together. We were disciplined by our friends parents because they were so close. It takes a village

Some of us do. It feels great tbh

Eh it was always going up. The next ltr was always better than the one before. Smarter, stronger, more attractive, and better lover. And I’ve never lied about my ncount to a partner. Most people think it’s a normal number. It’s not to this sub but I’ve never met anyone irl that thought it was high. I am considered a prude by some of my friends
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 12:40 AM
2

No I had dick in between. I had a couple strs and one ons but the guys weren’t that hot or that good. The ons was an extreme drunken issue, I had an alcoholic family member and didn’t realize that she wasn’t drunk 10 minutes after her first drink, that she had been drinking since noon. Live and learn. My n count is 12. And I still in no way had to settle for my committed partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 12:30 AM
4

I was the opposite as a girl. I was always in serial relationships with guys I was settling with because “I’ll give him a chance” and had one fwb with an eh guy who I was actually friends with and we had an itch to scratch. But my fiancé is the most attractive and best lover I’ve ever been with. I feel like I didn’t settle and any comparison is usually “damn, why was I settling for such mediocre sex before?”
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/20 11:57 PM

Most people in general are ok. A decent mix of good and bad and usually the good outweighs the bad. If this sub is to be believed everyone is always 100% a selfish asshole
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/20 10:12 PM

I honestly don’t know. Probably some unicorn situation. I logically don’t have a problem with it, but it’s a gut reaction that grosses me out. One of my good friends used to frequent a brothel and even dated one of the girls there and man the things I’ve heard just gross me out a lot.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/20 05:55 PM

I don’t have a problem with it and would be friends with men who do, however idk if I would ever date a man who did.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/20 05:48 PM

Pretty, smart, well educated, can cook, good with kids, good body, social, upper class. These might not be high value to the men here but in my social circle of mostly doctors, lawyers, and scientist it’s pretty important.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/20 05:38 PM

Eh even then it makes me feel grimy. I usually only let a guy pay for one date then we go Dutch. I don’t accept free drinks often. It feels gross

Yes but it’s much less likely. And when 5’1 women do abuse, if they aren’t using a weapon it’s probably not gonna cause serious physical damage. They still shouldn’t do it, no abuse is ever ok. But the difference in fear is there between a 6’2 man and a 5’1 woman. That isn’t saying women should be afraid of all men. Most men don’t rape, but the men who do rape often. There are no signs on men’s head saying they are a rapist so it’s better to exercise a reasonable amount of caution. I’ve been sta…

I mean if you want a connection with someone to have sex you will have fewer options. You just gotta accept that. There is nothing wrong with needing a connection but it’s hard to get for casual sex. Most guys who need a connection get into ltrs

I learned about the black pill first after reading an article about incels. I had never really seen that much hatred for women before. I definitely wish I hadn’t found it. It’s so depressing but also so addicting. I was doing fine before and I’m doing fine now. But my view of men has been slightly tainted. I have enough examples of amazing men in my actual life though so I know not all men.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/20 01:23 PM

Yep. I can barely make it through a porn video without feeling gross and disgusted but love romantic books. They are such a turn on. Also imagination is the best way to get off imo. I will never understand the appeal of porn

What do you men by rough? Lots of women are fine with some spanking and light hair pulling but no bdsm type shit
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/20 02:56 AM

Are you me? Because this was my upbringing. Did cotillion and debutante. Manners classes. Private school. I’ve had men say the same exact things. It weirds me out sometimes
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/20 02:17 AM
6

Because people have different kinks. There are women that don’t want anything other than missionary and the idea of anything even hair pulling is horrifying. There are women that are cool with whips and chains. Different Men are into a wide range of sexual acts, why is it hard to believe women are the same?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/20 11:11 PM

I mean sure. It doesn’t mean people don’t feel them and that it doesn’t influence their decisions
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/20 09:37 PM

Yep. There is a difference between a down to earth guy who has money and someone who goes out of their way to kind of hide it. It sounds like he’s the latter but I don’t really know. He might just be giving off the wrong vibe
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/20 09:26 PM

This was my thought. He is probably attracting women who are hippies/don’t value money. Very much would be weirded out if he acted poor only to end up being wealthy
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/20 09:11 PM

Nah. Even married women do this. They are always in competition with each other.

There is a huge hair regrowth industry. Men dye their hair as it ages just like women do, heck men even dye their beards. A lot of young men today have skin care routines for anti-aging. No one likes aging.

Women who are fat find men to spend their life with. It’s different kinds of hardship. We are more mentally ill, sedentary (which leads to obesity and depression), and don’t have a sense of purpose or direction. This will all lead to weight gain. Sure most people don’t have to work in a mine but that doesn’t mean life isn’t hard for most people.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/20 04:12 PM

The obesity for both genders is alarming. And yes we have a lot of luxury but most of us are working longer hours than sharecroppers were. We also almost all work at job that requires us to be sedentary. There are only so many hours in the day and you have to prioritize what’s important. With how convenient food is most people don’t prioritize cooking for themselves. We are constantly bombarded with food that is engineered to be addictive and taste better than what most people can cook on their …

Most of the time abusers don’t start out abusive. Usually they start off being better partners than the average/non-abuser. Shower their partner with attention, love, gifts, etc. once the victim is then hooked things start to slowly change. He will have a yelling outburst: “he was just stressed he doesn’t yell often it’s not a big deal” It becomes a frog in a boiling pot. Most women wouldn’t stay with a man if on the first date he yelled and hit her. By the time this happens a lot of women are t…

There is a chemical reason for this. When you are in an abusive situation for long periods of time your body stops reacting the epinephrine. Your body loses the flight or fight response. This makes it hard to get out of the victim/abuser cycle. It becomes their normal. It’s incredibly sad but there is a biochemical reason for it. Doesn’t excuse exposing children to abusive partners. Nothing excuses that.

Male thirst has become a huge problem. I can post on an anonymous site and imply that I’m a woman and get tons of messages from men. They don’t see what I look like and I don’t even explicitly say I’m a woman but still they message. Male attention is virtually worthless imo

Because life is hard and the advise is easier said than done. Both men and women are fatter than ever. Heck even foods that are advertised as healthy (jamba juice) will make you fat. America needs a large societal change in regards to our relationship with food.

Damaged men who have overcome what damaged them tend of somewhat attractive. But I also come from a damaged background and have pulled myself up and out. For me at least it’s something we have in common and can share. A man who is damaged and refuses to work on himself before we got together? Nah that’s unattractive.

For me personally the few times I’ve tried ons were awful. The sex was just bad sex. There was almost no effort on the mans part to get me off, no connection, and it just wasn’t fun. I love having sex for the sake of sex in my ltr though. There is a connection there, he knows what I like and consistently gets me off, and it’s just all around more fun. I think having good sex from the woman’s perspective usually comes with practice with the same woman. It might start out good the first night but …

There are many kinds of assholes and some are better than others. The guy that is constantly joking/asshole sense of humor? I’m a ok with that because I have the same sense of humor. As long as he knows when it’s ok to joke and how to read a room. The guy who is genuinely an asshole to everyone or tries to have an asshole sense of humor but has no sense of comedic timing is a no go. There’s a huge spectrum of assholes and some aren’t bad while some are awful.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/20 03:17 PM

Idk why they don’t either. However studies show that without incentive employers chose the resume with the male name over female name even if it’s the exact same resume. So there is some underlying sexism in hiring and that’s why hiring incentives started

Eh there aren’t that many ceos and there is a growing child free woman movement. I think there will be enough women who don’t juggle family in the next few generations that it will still even out
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/20 02:20 PM

Well women tend to want to see abs and the vline, not just dick. Almost no one likes seeing dick but men love seeing totally naked women

If you consider that fat you have a very warped view of reality. Most women store hormones in a small amount of fat around their stomach that won’t go away unless you dedicate almost your whole life to working out. Almost all my female personal trainers have had this pouch. If that’s what guys here views as a 6 instead of a 9 they will never date anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/20 02:02 PM

I think seeing the amount of male va female ceos in the next 50 years will be more helpful. We are still in transition. I’m 26 and when I was going through school I was still encouraged not to be extremely ambitious and to prioritize family. This is changing. Women are becoming more and more competitive when it comes to business and with the next few generations I wouldn’t be surprised if the numbers start to even out.

I agree somewhat. My parents were super involved and it took a lot of time and effort. My dad coached my little league teams and my brothers. My mom cooked, cleaned, and was very involved with us. Making sure we were always socializing, reading, or learning skills. It definitely wasn’t easy. We weren’t allowed to watch tv and could have TVs or computers in our rooms. My mom taught us how to garden, how to cook, how to sew. There’s so much to being a good parent and raising well rounded kids.

I want his goal to be around $60k but he’s starting his career and I don’t expect this right away. I except this after years of working. I’m starting out at $50k with potential to end up making well over 100k in 10 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 08:21 PM

I mean being a good involved parent is a lot of work. Sure if you just put them in front of a tv or give them an iPad it’s not that hard, but that’s definitely not good for the child.

I do most of these things daily (not the oven) and I cook almost every meal during the day. It does take time if it’s done well. I don’t wanna live in filth. Some of it is harder than others. Dishes and laundry are super easy, cleaning baseboards and scrubbing the floors every other week can be grueling and hurt your back and shit. It all depends on how clean you need your environment to be I guess. What you described doesn’t even come close to what I would expect the bare minimum to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 08:19 PM

I make and have more earning potential than my fiancé. I also am more educated. He does have his bachelors though which is really enough for me. As long as he works and contributes I don’t really care what he makes. I just don’t want a man who sits around all day

I mean not all women leave their men for better men. Women who do this (especially the cheating) are villains. She’s also a tv star so going for just a regular attractive man wouldn’t actually be hypergamy

He was never a dope. He had an extremely successful career in the movie/music business. He wasn’t as successful as her but he was still very successful. Just goofy which isn’t a negative thing at all. I mean look at sex in the city then. Half the women are slutty or hypergamous but they aren’t shown as the bad guy. Like I’ve said it’s been awhile for the ID channel. I used to watch it with my mom, not on my own so maybe what I watched was cherry picked by her idk.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 07:00 PM

Investigation discovery has tons of murder minidocs. At least 5 years ago when I watched it. Forgetting Sarah marshal shows a decently successful guy get left by his hot girlfriend for a rockstar. How is that not showing hypergamy?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 06:52 PM

Any reality tv show will show you this. Forgetting Sarah Marshall shows this. Get him to the Greek shows this. Tons of movies show this. Maybe you just don’t watch that media. Look at the ID channel, it’s almost all “killing her husband to be with another man”

We were in the same friend group so we were around each other a lot and I treated him like I did all the other guys in the group. I got plenty of attention outside of him. Didn’t really need it. I also was actively pursuing other men and was not shy about it.

Eh they weren’t bad dudes. And I value their friendship if I’m honest. I treated them just like all my other friends and they treated me like a friend. It wasn’t that bad. It was just awkward when I had to re-reject them every 6 months or so
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 03:36 PM

I straight up told them. “I don’t want to date you, I don’t want to date anyone from our friend group. It’s not ever going to happen”
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 03:34 PM
4

Well we were all in a similar friend group and hung out as a big group with men and women all the time. There were like 16-20 of us. About 4-5 guys kept trying after I said no. Most of the guys took the hint. One didn’t give up for 5 years. I cared about most of these men. They were my friends. But I just had no attraction to them at all
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 03:33 PM

Not only that I made firm rule I told them about, not dating anyone from our friend group. I told them all several times explicitly.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 03:28 PM

I mean women control most of the spending power. So I also don’t see that happening. Also most guys don’t wanna get rid of women, just a small subset on the internet. Most men would be repulsed by the idea of getting rid of women.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 02:54 PM

Well if you still own the child produced at the end they will make more money with less cost. If it’s cheaper to produce a child with artificial sperm than the alternative, and they can still charge the same for the service then the lower cost will generate more revenue.

I mean I’ve had guys who would be considered beta orbiters here but we established from day 1 we would never be more than friends. Some of these guys were genuine friends though and got girlfriends after I told them I didn’t want to date them. Hell one of them is engaged to my best female friend and they are an extremely wonderful couple. But tons of guys “orbit” when they are explicitly told it’s not …
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 02:32 PM

Oh ya, there is an over correction ugly men do. They feel like they need to be jerks to get you but that really only works for super attractive guys and girls with super low self esteem. I find that decently attractive men tend to be the best on average.

I still see the cost of making sperm much cheaper. Having to produce both eggs, the womb, everything needed to sustain life in the womb is much more expensive than using artificial sperm and using a surrogate

I’ve read that complaint several times on this sub

Not all attractive men are douches. There are good family men who are very attractive, might not be the mythical chad but still attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 02:11 PM

I see about 60% of men as neutral, not unattractive but does nothing for me. I see about 25% attractive. And about 15% down right repulsive and hard to look at.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 02:08 PM

It would be way easier to invent artificial Soren than develop eggs and artificial wombs.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 02:04 PM

Or there is no other perceived choice offered. Plenty of people kill themselves due to depression who are young and in reality have plenty of choices out there and plenty of life to live.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 08:37 AM

Again extreme troll comment. Most women want father to be involved. And ya abortion laws kind of suck for men but that doesn’t mean the child isn’t still his. It will always be his biological child forever and always. Sperm is half of the ingredients to make a child, not the final screw. It is an extremely essential component. Also He doesn’t have to be an active dad but the child will always be his. That’s just reality. You are trying to twist reality to fit your crazy world view.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 08:06 AM

That’s just untrue. I’m a girl and I’ve called tons of attractive men creepy
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 08:04 AM

Ummmmm...this is the dumbest logic I ever heard. He helped create the child, it’s his child. That’s how it works dude. That’s the reality of life. It has his dna forever. It’s his.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 07:27 AM

That has to do more with the fact that people don’t want to raise taxes. And society doesn’t want more homeless kids. It sucks but unless we want to live in an extreme welfare state (way expanded past what we have today), child support will continue. Also there are women who pay child support too FYI
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 07:26 AM

My father is a wonderful man, several of my teachers were/are wonderful men, my mentor is a wonderful man, many of my male friends from college were good men, and the list goes on. I don’t think all men are wonderful and I don’t trust stranger men before I get to know them, but most people don’t hate men outright for being men. We all know there are good men out there. The number does seem to be shrinking in this general toon though. I personally would rather have loved and lost than to never ha…

Im a girl and all my friends do this. We cuddle constantly. At least my close friends. Hell one of my friends once gave me a peck and acted like it was nothing. She was drunk but still happened. Some people are just touchy feely and all my female friends are. The only female friend I have that hates being touched is my autistic sister. And it’s for obvious reasons
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 06:23 AM

This is absolutely not true. There are objectively attractive men that I have zero attraction to. Attraction is definitely subjective. People have types.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 02:04 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 01:19 AM

Eh, he was tall and objectively decently attractive. He wasn’t crazy hot or anything. But there just weren’t feelings there. Weirdly enough on paper he was exactly my type but even from the first conversation I just wasn’t feeling it.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/20 12:44 AM
6

Exactly. That’s why I don’t really regret it. He was obsessed with me for a few years and we were in the same friend group so even though I made it extremely clear, we were always around each other. It got awkward towards the end and I feel bad about that.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/20 11:28 PM
20

There is one guy I feel bad about but I wasn’t attracted to him at all. I didn’t think he was ugly, he wasn’t. But I felt nothing for him. He was a great guy and I wanted to like him more than I did, but just didn’t. I know it would have ended poorly because of that. So I don’t really regret it but I sometimes wish I could have found him attractive. But I also have an amazing fiancé who I care about deeply and am extremely attracted to so really no regrets there.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/20 11:03 PM

But if someone is intentionally treating you poorly and it is hurting you emotionally it’s still abuse. Just because it hasn’t been acknowledged doesn’t mean it isn’t emotional abuse

I had no idea what I was attracted to when I was a teenager. I knew I liked men but the variation in men I had crushes on was huge. I was also terrified of sex like most of my friends. We weren’t going to wait for marriage but all of us were waiting till we found someone we loved. I dated a guy for years before we finally slept together and after we broke up abstained for a few years until I found someone else. Hell I abstained while in a relationship with someone who wanted to wait for marriage…

I mean he’s the most handsome man I’ve ever dated while also having all the qualities I want in a man. We love each other very much. He thinks I’m the hottest woman he’s ever been with too. Idk why you think my standards are too high. I’ve only ever dated guys that meet these standards(had zero problem finding these men there are tons of high quality dating partners out there). I also don’t think my standards are too much because I reach all of my own standards. I also cook and clean. Finding so…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/20 10:36 PM

I think is generational change though, not malicious lying. Also young girls don’t always know what they are attracted to. So asking them doesn’t really help. They will also almost always list traits they want in a boyfriend not just for sex, a lot of girls don’t give a shit about sex outside of a loving relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/20 10:31 PM

Women are taught the same thing about teasing just FYI.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/20 10:23 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/20 09:48 PM

This is dumb. I’ve gone on dates with plenty of very hot guys that I have nothing in common with and nothing came of it. There is much more to dating than just physical attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/20 09:30 PM

Exactly this. Sperm counts are crazy low and only getting lower.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/20 09:10 PM

Was your wife still the primary caregiver when you were together? Because that’s usually the deciding factor, who works less. Who has more free time to actually raise the kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/20 05:15 PM
2

Eh. I’ve never experienced this. Most of the places I worked a few people would flirt or be friendly but no one actually hooked up together from work. Except like 2 crazy people. There were a couple of guys who would grab women but they got fired really quick and life went back to being productive.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/20 04:30 PM

Nope.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/20 03:30 PM

How does a women’s sexual liberty impact her work? Just because we are free to have sex we want to have doesn’t mean we don’t put restrictions on ourselves when appropriate. Most women I know have a no-coworker rule. Sure some women will be the office slut but most wont.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/20 03:29 PM

I was taught the opposite. That women are the root of sin and that we have to try to be angels to make up for it. I was told women are inherently evil
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/20 03:12 PM
2

What planet are you from? Almost all the women here say it’s a combination of personality and looks that attracted them to their partners. Come on. Don’t be that dude. Also our culture for sure doesn’t say that.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/20 12:06 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/20 12:04 AM
1

Idk I’ve never been like that. It’s hard for me to get why people are proud of their ignorance instead of just learning new things as long as the info is from reputable sources. All my friends were inquisitive, but most of my friends were in private school and the kids of doctors, they had to be inquisitive. And ya there is still a lot of shame about our bodies, I really don’t know why though.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/20 06:40 PM
2

Well ya sure. Stupid people say stupid shit. There are people that believe the earth is flat. There are people that still don’t know how babies are actually made other than sex. I am in a stem masters program and most of my peers have a biology background so I guess you are right I wouldn’t ever hear this. However I’m still astounded by how much people don’t know about their own bodies.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/20 06:24 PM

Never heard anyone say this. I have heard people say that the vagina will snap back after sex unless she is trying to stretch it out by using very large toys for several hours a day. The vagina is made to snap back after sex. Just like dicks aren’t always hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/20 06:16 PM

I’m honestly only ok with it during bachelor parties or other special occasions. I don’t like the idea of him giving money to other women in a sexual way. I couldn’t be with someone who frequents them. Again I’m fine for the big events but it still viscerally makes me cringe at the idea.

She had two more kids on accident. They are still together but not all good. She did eventually wanna go back to work but after she got pregnant with my sister (8 years younger than me and with autism) their relationship went way downhill. That some of us can go long periods of time without sex and be perfectly fine. I started dating a religious guy who wanted to wait even though I wasn’t a virgin and we waited over a year (broke up due to other issues having to do with religion) but I was willing to wait until we got married for him. When I’m single I don’t even think about having sex with an actual man
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/20 06:19 PM

I think that’s probably definitely it. I grew up in a small city in the mountains, so a lot of us were always in the woods. It’s not something exciting but I do think being out in nature is special. I currently live in a city with barely any walking trails or large wooded parks and it’s just awful. I don’t know how people live like this long term. There’s just concrete everywhere and it drives me mad.

It’s still fun, I rarely don’t have fun when I go spend time outside. And it can still be exciting. I get excited when I see certain animals or plants. I get excited when I hike to a waterfall. But those are my interests and I don’t think they would be exciting to the average person. I think it’s crazy exciting when I see animals hunting one another. All kinds of stuff. It’s just different strokes for different folks. But it’s not a life or death exciting like people seem to try and make it out …
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/20 04:20 PM
4

Idk, I don’t know anyone who proclaims all hiking is crazy exciting. But it’s fun to them even if it’s not crazy exciting. It gets the endorphins going and makes you feel good. Every once in awhile I will go do something crazy but for the most part it’s hiking or going to a local swimming hole. Most people I know think of nature as relaxing not crazy exciting.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/20 04:14 PM

Eh if you live somewhere with mountains it’s easy to do a small hike almost everyday. Not everyday in the woods has to be an adventure. Sometimes it’s just peaceful to be out in nature for a little bit.

I mean a lot of women don’t ruin the lives of someone they used to love unless he did something. Sure crazy women exist and do this. Most women just want to make sure they are taken care of and that their kids are taken care of after a divorce. Especially if they were a stay at home mom with no skills who is still trying to also raise the kids.

Drug dealer or ex con? Probably not. Someone who has smoked pot and would drink underage back in the day vs nice guy? Maybe depending on the individuals. Is it a boring nice guy who doesn’t do anything interesting or a nice guy who goes rock climbing, kayaking, or hiking all the time? Because an interesting nice guy is much better than a boring pothead. And much much better than a drug dealer

/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/20 02:45 PM

I mean sure, but literally everyone has baggage and life experience is a good thing. Who wants to date someone who has been perfect their entire lives? That sounds boring as hell. I think when you discuss just the transactional nature you lose a large part of what’s happening in relationships. It’s not magic, but people fall in love for all kinds of reasons outside of the socio-economic factors. Relationships aren’t supposed to be transactional. Not in the context of that comment. Sure it can be sexy, but saying that it’s his even if we get divorced is just gross.

Even women who have degrees before being stay at home have a very hard time getting back into work without tons of connections. Also when people have kids they are usually at their poorest. Childcare can be extremely expensive and cost more than what her income is bringing in. Also no one goes into marriage planning on divorce. If you plan for divorce when you go in, you will definitely be one of the couples who gets divorced. Have a simple prenup and then act like it’s not going to happen.

If you both make the decision that she should stay at home and not pursue a career and that you should provide then ya, the money part is your responsibility. Its also not just for her benefit but for the benefit of your children. Do you really want the mother of your children to live in squalor and your kids to live in that squalor? But also its almost impossible to jump start a career after being a stay at home mom. You basically have to go back to school and start back at square one unless yo…

I mean I think most women want both. Weddings can be a ton of fun and a wonderful thing for couples. Some women make the wedding all about themselves though and that’s not a good thing. But most people don’t get married just for the wedding, they want to be married to their partner. I see nothing wrong with wanting a celebration of love if it doesn’t turn into a bridezilla thing
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/20 12:23 PM

Most states give primary custody to the parent who has more time to actually raise the children. That just usually is the woman in the relationship. I agree men should have equal access and I’ve advocated for male custody rights my entire life. But in relationships where the mom works more and the dad stays at home, he usually gets full custody (unless you are from a very traditional state, but even those states are starting to change)
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/20 12:19 PM

You make the choice as a couple. It’s not just one person making these decisions. You are a unit when married and you do what’s best for the unit. Most people who get married want children, including men. It’s not just a woman’s choice to have a child in a marriage. Also accident babies happen in marriages too. You are responsible for the choices the unit makes. Also no wonder a woman wants to divorce you “that pussy is mine” Jesus how awful can you be?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/20 12:08 PM
2

Why do you just completely throw out one of the biggest factors for why people get together. Love is a very important part of romantic relationships. Sure it can’t be quantified but it’s still there for healthy relationships. Do you really want a relationship that is a trade deal and not based in love and mutual respect?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/20 12:02 PM
6

Yep. Almost every man I know in this situation only wanted partial custody. They still wanted to be independent and have alone time. The only man I know who wanted full custody was my dad but that’s because my mom is downright awful and he didn’t trust her to be alone with us. She was basically trailer trash, I don’t know why he ever married her
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/20 11:51 AM
11

Nope. Never. I’d rather be single. But this is definitely a false equivalency to alimony. I want to keep working so I would never need it, but if your wife quit her career to raise your children then ya you should pay child support and alimony at least until she can get back into a career. If you want her to stay at home then deal with the consequences of that if divorce happens

Eh I just think it means they were young and dumb. We learn as we get older. A lot of people start dating way before they should. Way before they are emotionally ready. I don’t think it makes them bad people and most people ime grow out of this. Tall, skinny (lanky body type), brown hair, blue eyes, glasses. God I just swoon! But I’ve dated way outside of this several times without any attraction problems. Dated a guy who was 5’4 once and I’ve also dated somewhat bigger men

I think it’s a mix of comfort but also extreme stress due to children. If you have a baby who is colic, sleep will be a real issue. Women’s hormones can also change a whole lot after pregnancy. She might just no longer have that libido anymore. Sex might be the furthest thing on her mind while she’s trying to take care of the baby. I think comfort can be a factor especially if both partners start to let themselves go but I don’t think it’s comfort alone. It’s almost always a multitude of factors
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/20 11:17 PM

Exactly! Most of my male friends were saving and investing all their money at 18. I wouldn’t care about other women getting the benefits of money but I wouldn’t trust his financial literacy skills and couldn’t seriously be with him anymore
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/20 10:06 PM

I wouldn’t care that I didn’t get the benefit but I would be concerned with his money management skills. If he blew all his money instead of investing and preparing for his future I’d be concerned. I don’t want yachts or designer bags but I also want a financially mature man. 18 and not very far off from 26 and idk if I would trust him with money after that.

Because that’s what it used to be in the past? Women had no choice in who they would marry/sleep with and this has been something several incels have called for. I’m all for prostitution being legal and think it’s the best option to help men who can’t get laid. But I understand why women would be hesitant to admit it’s a need
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/20 04:04 PM

Exercise does a lot of things for you. It increases endorphins which make you feel better. It makes you look better so it increases your confidence. It helps with cognitive function. The list goes on. This doesn’t mean you need to spend hours and hours at the gym everyday. But living an active lifestyle and working out 4 times a week will help with lots of things in life.

Women do feel the drive, when they are ovulating they are much much more horny. This makes tons of sense because that’s when she’s fertile. I chose not to have sex when I’m ovulating because I don’t actually want a baby right now even though that’s when I’m most horny. But I’m not about to risk my whole life for a baby. I’m just not ready.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/20 02:32 PM

I think because for men to have sex they have to use a woman’s body it becomes a defensive thing for women. Women do not want to have with men they don’t want to have sex with full stop. Admitting it’s a need admits they have to have sex with men they don’t want to. I personally don’t think it’s a need but an extreme want. I wish prostitution was legal for these men though.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/20 09:31 PM

This seems so wrong on every level. The point of a relationship is to only have sex with each other while also being in love. I don’t think waiting months is normal but nothing wrong with waiting a few weeks. Once that emotional bond is there him having sex would completely destroy that bond and I know personally I would never be able to sleep with him again and I would probably kick him the hell out. The emotional bond gets intrinsically tied to the sex once sex starts happening

This says nothing about dna also that’s not a great source. As we age our facial structures change. You can definitely feel a penis while making out and fooling around before actually having sex. Also making out and seeing if you have chemistry beforehand is a good indicator of how he will be in bed. But also as long as its not a micro penis it will be fine. Size queens are not the norm. As long as guys are open to instruction and willing to adapt a slightly below average penis isn’t a big deal

You said the incel who didn’t shower and all that was a myth. And it’s not. Maybe don’t say shit that’s not true
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/20 09:12 AM
2

I also agree. I personally don’t want to add any size but that’s because I’m already well endowed to the point where it hurts my back. Getting anymore would be stupid. I wish everyone could be happy in the bodies they are born with but that’s just not reality. I don’t have anything against people that enhance themselves. I will say there is a point when you are making yourself look worse, like the living ken doll guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/20 12:17 AM
1

Eh I like lanky men. Tall and skinny. Super buff was never my thing. It’s nice to look at on some celebrities but I don’t want to actually be with men like that. They could snap me in half. Freaks me out
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 11:55 PM

Yep. Everyone woman in my family with kids has done this except my mom and hers are crazy saggy. But she doesn’t care. She hates men.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 11:51 PM

Well sure they will push you toward some high value trait. I personally push men toward the successful business man traits. But the argument was that women want their men to be extremely muscular. That’s not true
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 11:50 PM

There are plenty of dudes that have girlfriends that also play magic the gathering. But they have girlfriends despite playing, not because
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 11:39 PM
2

I knew people in college who actually didn’t shower and were complete grease balls. Sure some guys put in effort but others actually don’t. I had a friend who refused to start using an acne face wash and start a skin care routine. I have absolutely no idea why he thought he didn’t need it, he had crazy bad acne but wondered why he didn’t do well with women. It’s definitely not just a myth.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 11:36 PM

Soft spoken is definitely something he can change btw. It’s difficult but he can. Women usually don’t notice soft spoken men because so many guys are basically preforming for their attention.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 11:33 PM
1

Both men and women have problems with this though. Women just can still get laid or find a husband while being incredibly fat
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 11:25 PM
5

Almost all the extremely successful relationships in my family have been the woman being slightly older. I know it’s anecdotal but I think the older men thing isn’t as prevalent as it used to be
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 11:23 PM
2

My friends and I don’t like the extreme muscle look. We like the skinny fit look. Basically just like the edit picture. Some slight abs and a vline. You don’t have to look like a Greek god for most women
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 11:18 PM
2

This is absolutely not true. A 10/10 can look like a 5 in pictures if time isn’t taken. A 5 can look like a 7-8 with the right lighting and angles.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 11:14 PM

I mean I’ve had several men, even gay men come up to me and say exactly that thinking I would be super flattered. That’s why I used it. And sure some people are shitty. Some people never learned how to be polite. That’s the risk of playing the game. Some men women think are charming end up being the biggest dicks. It’s part of dating. Hell I know girls who have been told by men that they aren’t good enough and to get lost. It’s a learning curve. Don’t approach women with resting bitch face who o…

I’d get my boobs put back in place after having kids so that they are perky but I wouldn’t add anything to them. I don’t want saggy boobs
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 10:55 PM

I don’t plan on getting implants but after kids I wanna get everything put back where it belongs. I don’t want saggy tits. Also I’m glad you have such a great relationship! Congrats!
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 10:53 PM
2

This is just nonsense. Everyone has different priorities in what they want in a man. Sure no ugly man is gonna be high value. I personally think player or high n count men are extremely low value, no matter how hot they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 10:51 PM
2

I’ve met creepy women and creepy men all over the attractive spectrum. The main thing that influences whether someone is creepy to me is their body language. I can’t tell you the amount of times some guy would follow my friend group around a bar, not talking to us. Just following us and looking at us. It’s creepy as hell! It’s just really uncomfortable
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 10:45 PM
4

High value man is subjective to the woman who sees him. There is no objective high value man.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 10:33 PM
2

I usually wait a couple of dates maybe a couple of weeks. No guy has ever complained about it before. I also don’t post in fds
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 10:29 PM
1

No it’s not unless you are excessively pushy. But just going up and talking to a girl is not harassment. If she turns you down or is obviously uncomfortable and you keep pestering her or try to escalate to touching then ya it might be considered harassment. If you go up to her and say something like “nice tits” then ya that might be considered harassment too. But just going up and being polite isn’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 08:22 PM

I mean yes but not for most guys. To expect this is definitely a bit delusional
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 07:01 PM
4

Yep. Almost all my stem nerd friends from college are in ltrs and doing really well. The only ones who aren’t getting laid regularly have extremely high standards and don’t want to settle
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 06:25 PM
6

Right? Unless you are in a relationship why is anyone expecting to have lots of sex throughout the year?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 06:24 PM
1

If he committed to her then yes there is definitely a moral and honor obligation to stay as long as she doesn’t become abusive or completely let herself go (like obesity not post baby weight). Yes but to some people powerful assholes are high value while some people think they are scum. Some people view scientists as high value while other people think it’s stupid. What people view as high value definitely is subjective and falls on a scale.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 06:19 PM
1

Again there is a difference between putting on 20-30 lbs and becoming extremely overweight/obese. Especially if they are ultra skinny to begin with.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 06:17 PM
1

Why can’t he want both? What’s wrong with you people? Several things can be important to someone. I keep saying sex is an important part of a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 05:57 PM
1

High value is definitely subjective. What might be high value to you might not be high value to someone else. I personally think strong moral character is high value. Honor is high value. Not everyone agrees with that, and that’s ok. There are many men who don’t cheat as well. For me cheaters are automatically low value.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 05:56 PM
1

I don’t know why he wouldn’t be a catch still if gains a little bit of weight but still works on himself. But maybe we will just have to agree to disagree.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 05:52 PM
1

High value is subjective. I didn’t say men shouldn’t enjoy sex. I said earlier that sex is important. I shame men who cheat because they took a vow of commitment to one person. If you want to sleep with multiple people that’s fine just don’t get married or have an open marriage. I just said some men want women for more than just sex. They want someone who is there for them, who they can laugh and cry with, who brings things to the table other than just having a vagina
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 05:43 PM
1

I meant the physical appearance. My bad. As long as they are still decently active and haven’t completely let themselves go
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 05:34 PM
1

I mean I don’t want someone to just balloon up, but putting on 20-30 lbs isn’t something that would make me walk away. That’s completely normal as we age. I mean as long as we can still go on hikes together and can play with the kids, the physical stuff doesn’t matter as much with age. We all eventually get ugly.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 05:24 PM
1

I would argue those aren’t high value men. High value men are loyal to their women just like high value women are loyal to their men. You can be very wealthy and still be a degenerate and low value. And no it doesn’t mean he would actually go a sleep with teenagers. It’s a fantasy. Some men would and they are allowed to do that. But not all men would. You act like men are all the same and they definitely aren’t. Why do you have such a horrible view of men?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 05:22 PM
1

Well of course age impacts this. I don’t expect someone to stay super skinny as they get older. I also do all the cooking and I cook pretty healthy food most of the time 80/20
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 05:14 PM
1

Well I don’t invade his privacy like that. He also doesn’t watch a lot of porn anymore. But I don’t believe porn and what you actually want are the same. Do guys who like tentacle porn really want to fuck a girl with tentacles? No. It’s a fantasy and doesn’t always translate in to desires you would want in real life.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 05:09 PM
1

I mean I usually go for naturally skinny guys. They have never had to do more than 30 minutes of at home workouts. But I like my men lanky. I’ve dated men that didn’t workout at all that looked like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 05:04 PM
2

You really have drunk the koolaid. Yes he would probably leave me if I lied about my degree. One of the reasons he likes me is because I am accomplished academically. Also lying is a big thing with him. Just because the guys you hang around don’t have standards doesn’t mean other guys don’t. He also wasn’t looking for casual sex. It’s not what he wanted. He wanted to be with someone who had a lot going for them and that he clicked with.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 05:01 PM
2

How does this mean he only cares about sex? I never said sex wasn’t important. Sex is important to me as well. But he has standards beyond “will put out”. We also didn’t have sex for the first month and a half of our relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 04:44 PM

This just isn’t true. They care a lot about sex but high quality men care about much more. I’m engaged to such a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 04:33 PM

You can be a little assertive without being a huge douche canoe. It’s learning how to balance being assertive with also making someone comfortable/feel respected. Men who master this do very well.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 04:26 PM
2

Agreed. As soon as a guy acts like a douche bag he’s not considered anymore. I can handle a dark sense of humor but actually being mean and insulting to others is a huge red flag.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 04:24 PM

I 100% mind being a sex trophy. It sounds awful. I’ve spent my whole life making sure I was a well rounded person, would hate to be reduced to a sex trophy. What a shitty life that would be

I mostly pay for my fiancé. I make a little more than he does. I pay for most of the groceries and we usually go Dutch when we go out to eat. He is about to earn a little more than I am and has told me he will spoil me for a change now that he has a job and I’m finishing grad school. Even when we first started dating we mostly went Dutch. He got the first 2-3 dates but after that we went Dutch in almost everything.

Thirst in no way equals forced. Alcoholics aren’t forced to drink. Many are able to abstain and remain sober for years. You have control over what you do

I prefer skinny guys myself. I don’t like the body builder look. A few muscles are fine and appreciated but I don’t want to feel like he could snap me in half. Decent arms, a shapely butt, and a vline get me going. I don’t like giant arm cannons or massive pecks. It’s ugly.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 10:44 AM

Absolutely nothing currently. I’m engaged to a wonderful man. He has been a little moody after graduation and looking for a job but I have faith in him and no he will land on his feet relatively soon!

Who says it’s wrong to make friendly small talk with a random girl? Most people are ok with it, as long as you are receptive and can tell if the other person isn’t feeling like talking after a couple minutes. Most of the negative things they say about cold approaching is centered on making it about dates or sex or pick up lines right away. Most people will just be mildly annoyed if you just have a friendly and/or interesting conversation with a stranger
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 09:46 AM

Most women want you to be let into what you are thinking but also don’t want to see you cry (a lot, a few tears or really sad moments like the death of a loved one are usually accepted) they don’t want to see you explode in anger. Basically we want you to be totally in control of your emotions while still letting us in. It’s a little crazy but I’ve never had a guy really mess this up and my fiancé tells me what he’s feeling all the time and it’s not a turn off.

I don’t think there is an objective answer to what “asshole” behavior is. It’s very subjective. Some people are much more sensitive than others and can’t take jokes and label people assholes. Some people have a high tolerance for that kind of thing and think the label is ridiculous.

I didn’t say no one at all didn’t side against him. I said most people. And again people can be accused of anything. Men and women suffer from this for all kinds of social faux pas. Slut shaming is still very rampant, being accused of drug use, being accused of being crazy. All of these things will lead to consequences even if unfounded. That’s just living in a society. There are inherent risks

The blue pill doesn’t say wallow and never self improve. I’ve also never heard anyone say looks don’t matter at all. I’ve heard people put it somewhat low on the priority list or just not mention it because they assume everyone already knows looks matter. Being yourself is decent advice for those looking for ltrs. My comment still applies to this. Maybe they have different religious values, maybe the timing is off. There are tons of reasons why people can be in the same league but not want to date each other. Casual sex can still be had between these people

If someone saw my husband on tinder I would want them to tell me, even if they weren’t my best friend. The ex wife could have easily cleared up the situation but didn’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/20 12:47 PM

Exactly. Also the ex wife could have easily cleared everything up but just hung up.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/20 12:46 PM

Well I’d never be with someone who was with a prostitute so I guess we will never know. I think sex is inherently different than other services. And she’s faking the connection. Sure he might feel it but she’s just faking it. I have several friends who used to go to the bunny ranch and it definitely grosses me out based on what they have said
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/20 12:10 PM
2

Probably the transactional view of sex prostitution requires. Having a couple ons, a few fwb, and some serial monogamy doesn’t bug me. We aren’t perfect, but the paying for sex out right bugs me. There can be a connection still with ons and fwb. With prostitution it’s purely transactional and that is kind of gross to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/20 11:28 AM
1

I said it’s a visceral thing. It’s not a logical thing. It’s just an instant turn off for some reason. And no I don’t think it would be different if it happened a long time ago. I want someone with less than 20 partners. Nope still wouldn’t go for it. And the why is it’s just a visceral reaction. Maybe one day my reaction to it will change but i doubt it.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/20 11:15 AM
2

I think it’s more of a spectrum. I wouldn’t call them out and think they should have every right to go see one. But I’m not gonna sleep with a guy who does. I might be their friend but I just have zero desire to be with a man who’s seen a prostitute. But I don’t believe it makes him a bad person.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/20 10:32 AM

I mean I’m not gonna shame someone but I’m also not gonna sleep with someone who uses them

Using a prostitute is gross for different reasons. On a logical level I don’t have a problem with it but on a visceral level it grosses me out

Yep I bring the same
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 11:45 PM

The way chad has been described is way more than a couple fwb and an occasional ons. I think the average looking man can get a fwb or an occasional ons if they are charming enough. I don’t think many men are gonna get to a place where there are just tons of women throwing themselves at him like they would “chad”. That is extremely rare and usually reserved for the ultra wealthy and celebrities.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 11:12 PM
2

I mean it all depends on the fantasy. If he wants me to be a bit in charge and be on top the whole time, that’s fine. Maybe spank him a little bit is cool too. I don’t really wanna peg him or anything. Hell I’d even be down for blind folding or tying him up. But some things are still off limits.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 10:49 PM

I wouldn’t ever want to date a celebrity. For that exact reason. I don’t deal with man whores. Someone with an n-count of less than 20 is ideal
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 10:41 PM

I mean I could say the same about men’s rights activists. The crazy ones are absolutely horrifying but they don’t represent the group. I could say the same thing about any religion as well. Doesn’t mean all religion is bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 06:53 PM
4

It doesn’t matter if you think it’s ridiculous that’s just how it is. Women tend to feel a need to protect children regardless of if they are theirs or not. But if he abandoned that child why wouldn’t he abandon one he had with you? It shows extremely low value
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 06:51 PM
1

Men who provide high levels of resources (millionaires and above) can find women with absolutely zero social skills. It’s all a sliding scale and what different women prioritize. But the op is right that a good provider and socialite is more alpha than some loser who works at Taco Bell but can get laid.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 06:50 PM
4

Most people want to eventually settle down. He might not want it now but eventually most everyone wants something more meaningful than nsa sex. And if he doesn’t actually be a good dad to his kid he will never be able to get anything more except from trashy women.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 06:38 PM
2

I mean if you only read what crazy tumbler feminists believe then ya they probably will backstab you. But feminists actually doing more than sitting behind a keyboard usually support lots of men’s rights things as well. Like custody, paternal leave, having changing rooms in men’s bathrooms, having it be socially acceptable for men to act more feminine if they want. The extremists of any group make the group seem backstabby and crazy, those aren’t the people you should give any credence to.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 06:37 PM
1

Doctors do fine right out of school and lawyers do fine right out of school. Plenty of socially adept stem dudes do fine with women. You need the alpha the op describes excels at both being able to provide and be social enough for women’s tastes as well
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 06:35 PM
2

Of course I’m not qualified these are my opinions on the matter. I have watched several documentaries and ted talks on the matter and these are what a lot of sex workers say they want. I think sex workers should be required to have either citizenship or work visas and brothels be randomly inspected to help curb that problem. It won’t solve it completely but it will definitely help. Underground sex work will always be shady and full of trafficking.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 06:23 PM
2

I personally think brothels are the way to go. Require credit cards and ids instead of cash. You can easily see who is in charge of a brothel. Make it a legitimate business where the sex goes on in house. Require regular std testing and condoms always. Sure some stuff will still be shady but that’s any industry.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 06:15 PM
1

Concede power to the idea. Not the group.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 06:11 PM
2

With laws...that are enforced by police. How we ban most things. Also setting up brothels is a way to do this and requiring sex workers themselves or former sex workers manage them.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 06:08 PM
2

Regulate it and actually ban it. Have women higher bouncers instead of having pimps. Pimps take all the profits from sex work and dole it out how they see fit. Women should keep their money and instead pay someone to be protection. Pimps tend to abuse women as well. They need to be banned.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 06:05 PM
15

Because abandoning children is beyond awful to most women. Showing women you stepped up and became a good father will be much more attractive to most high value woman. Also you don’t get to have a new life without hurting the child, which is very important to women. It shows he is of low character.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 06:02 PM
10

I mean he can but as soon as he wants to settle down any woman with any self respect will dump his ass as soon as they find out he did this and tried to abandon the child.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 05:52 PM
9

There are feminists who think all sex work is bad. It’s not a monolith group. I’m pro-sex work and think the porn industry needs to be cleaned up but I’m not against porn. Most of the women I know feel the same way. But we are not a monolith
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 05:51 PM
9

Ya and if a woman finds out later he did this she’s gonna drop him and tell everyone in his new circle and he will have to do this all over again.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 05:43 PM
13

Ya but you did. You need to focus on your child. Your social circle and sex life are not even close to as important as your child. If you want to have any chance of dating a high value woman you need to actually take care of the child and show you can step up and take responsibility
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 05:40 PM
9

Sorry but you will never be high value to high value women. Our actions have consequences
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 05:37 PM
7

Tons of drugs are pushed on women in porn. Also women are basically pimped out by men for porn in most of the industry. The man finds her work and has a place for her to live and takes most of the profits from her being in the video. Remove the extreme drug pushing and ban male pimping and more people would be ok with the industry imo
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 05:31 PM
27

A large portion of feminists want to legalize prostitution. A lot of feminists that are anti porn are against the treatment of women in porn not the porn itself. If the industry was cleaned up and women in porn treated with some dignity a lot more people would be on board with it, but currently a lot of the girls are fed drugs and degraded while basically being pimped out.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/20 05:22 PM

I think it all depends. Is he leading women on? Is he being an asshole? Or does he just have a lot of no strings attach sex? If he’s being a dick and leading women on then yes the begone fuckboi is appropriate. If he’s just having a lot of nsa sex but it’s mutual between all partners then I don’t think it’s appropriate. Just like with women.

If you are in a healthy weight I don’t demand it. If you aren’t out of shape and can go hiking with me on the weekends I don’t demand it. I’ve been with slightly overweight guys but they could keep up when doing physical activities so it didn’t really matter. I just don’t want someone who gets winded after a 30 minutes walk
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/20 03:27 PM

I don’t judge introverted guys but if one guy is actively engaging me and the other won’t speak up I’m gonna hangout with the guy who actually talks to me. I don’t have anything against the quiet guy but he’s not really on my radar

Yes but romance takes many forms for different women. But romance is required to keep a relationship going. Flirting also is required, grabbing her butt randomly (if she’s into that) or telling her how good she looks when she isn’t trying are great ways to help keep the spark alive. Women just wanna feel special

Basement dwelling greaseball. Honestly most guys are unattractive. Most guys just need to up their style, invest in better grooming products and they would be perfectly fine. Most of my “unattractive” college friends did just this and now look great.

In my college friend group it happened quite a bit with a few of the people but overall we weren’t sleeping with each other. Most might drunkenly make out with several people in the groups

I tend to like highly educated people, not because I don’t respect trades or think educated people are better, but I tend to have more in common with people who have gone to college. I’m getting my masters and they tend to relate more to what I’m going through. I have tried dating some blue collar workers before and we didn’t have anything in common really. I have plenty of friends who are truck drivers or plumbers and their wives but I don’t know if I would be able to date them

If he is doing something wrong she can’t force him to fix it. If he is unwilling to fix it what is she supposed to do? If he is drinking too much only he can fix it. If he doesn’t pull his fair share in helping with kids, only he can fix it. There are things both should be doing to work on relationships but sometimes one partner stops putting in that effort.

I will argue that they aren’t leaving because of that but that it’s just the straw that broke the camels back. This happens in lots of relationships I see. A woman starts to have some problem in the relationship and talks to her SO about fixing it but he never ends up putting in the effort she was excepting and after months and months and months she snaps and leaves. (I’ve seen guys do the same thing with female sos too)

There are lots of women into chubby men or the dad bod. I don’t think a lot of women are into obese men but having a little extra fat isn’t gonna cut you out of the dating pool completely. I will say that the chubbier or dad bod men who do well tend to have A+ charisma and charm though

My partner and I spend a ton of time together and it hasn’t gotten old so far. I feel like we fall in love a little more everyday. I don’t enjoy the absence. If it’s for longer than a few days I just don’t like it, I can put up with it for work if he has a business trip. I would rather see him everyday though.

I think it’s wealthier people have the means to learn how to be “better” by societies standards. I was put into manners classes as were all my UMC peers. My private school had an extremely strict honor system. But plenty of UMC/UC people are horrible. And I don’t think these people are truly better than other classes. It’s all very fake

Then you both are kind of assholes. One person being an asshole to you doesn’t negate you being an asshole back. Is it justified to be an asshole then? Maybe. But it still makes you both assholes

People break up for all kinds of reasons. Some people aren’t fit for monogamy and cheat, some just grow apart with time, some date for a few months and realize it wouldn’t be good for a forever type of relationship and call it off, some people leave abusive people. In all of these scenarios there are different victims if any at all for some of them.

Keep my legs shut. My grandmother was much more helpful. “You’re the prize and don’t forget it” and she would tell me all about sex and having a stable loving relationship. She also taught me how to cook and act like a lady over wine nights.

I mean there is a middle ground. Some guys take the obsession with their women’s orgasms to extremes where it becomes more difficult for the girl to cum. Extremes are bad. Sometimes a girl just isn’t gonna cum no matter how hard you try.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/20 07:56 PM

Some men a very selfish in bed while others are not. I’ve dated (shortly) a guy who didn’t give two shits if I enjoyed it. My fiancé loves getting me off at least twice almost every time we have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/20 07:48 PM

Yes of course. Now I have boundaries with this. Like if it’s obvious she is flirting with him and he is being oblivious I might say something. If she is just showing up to his place unannounced and acting like a second girlfriend I would say something. But someone who they meet up with in public once a week or every other week or even a friend they see everyday at work I don’t really care.

I mean I’m not arguing women don’t fantasize about taming the bad boy. That’s always been a thing in female fantasy. Were these just online books or did they use data from places like books a million too? Also there are women that don’t read erotica at all and just get turned on by romance books?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/20 05:20 PM

I mean sure if anal is something you have to have in your life vs something you think might be fun to try but could live without it. I was more referencing the second guy who would get jealous he’s being denied it. There are different scenarios for being denied it and those matter

A lot of people are saying women love to be objectified and I have some thoughts on this. Yes we like being “objectified” in the bedroom. But a lot of us like emotion being there too. Feeling like a sex doll isn’t fun but feeling like the woman a man can’t get enough of does feel like a lot of fun. I want to feel like my partner loves me during sex. But also as soon as sex is over I don’t want to be objectified anymore. Which is why I like relationships more than casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/20 05:05 PM

I think it also depends on what she did in her youth. Did she do anal consistently and then decide to completely stop for new men or did she try it once and hated it never to do it again. One seems unfair and the other is just knowing what you like
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/20 04:45 PM

I think there is a selection bias because the majority of women don’t watch porn at all. Most women get more turned on by erotic books or sex scenes in movies than by porn. I know maybe 2 women that watch porn. I can count on my fingers how many times I’ve tried and had zero interest in it each time. It doesn’t do anything for me.

I don’t think it’s inherently disrespectful. I know plenty of women who just like to dance with their girlfriends and get dressed up. It’s a trust thing, is your partner trustworthy? Do they do anything to make you think they would betray you? Well then sure I could see where clubbing could be a problem. This doesn’t apply to all women though. I think the type of club also matters. A bad where people dance or an actual coked up night club.

You act like staying at home and taking care of children/the home isn’t contributing. Also in a marriage you are a partnership. Splitting everything 50/50 is what you sign up for if there is a divorce (unless you have a prenup)

No I don’t think it’s in DNA. In certain places women are more conservative due to society. I’m from Alabama and it’s still a big source of social shame to have sex before marriage (at least it was at my school and among my peers) there was no shame for being interested in dating someone but even when dating sex was taboo. We still have a long way to go in certain areas
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/19 05:57 PM
9

Because for a very long time showing any sexual interest as a woman was a huge source of social shame. A lot of women still feel this social shame. That doesn’t mean you should give into stupid games. If a girl says no, leave. That’s not a girl you should associate with

I expect to be treated equally all the time. The only time I really like dominance is in the bedroom, but if there is any disrespect in the bedroom then it’s all over. But there are things my fiancé is better at and things I’m better at. Im better at building relationships than he is and have basically built our social life (even with his friends by becoming friends with their SOs and making plans) he’s better at finances and has put us on a reasonable budget. /r/PurplePillDebate30/12/19 04:26 PM

Sure because we aren’t a monolith group. Individuals have preferences. Some women don’t give a shit about personality while some really care and arent aroused without it

And this is why we can’t have nice things. If a woman says no and all the men she says no to walk away because of it she will learn to be more direct. It’s guys who keep sticking their dicks in crazy that lead more women to be crazy and playing hard to get. I will never understand why men subject themselves to being with women who play crazy games.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/19 03:55 PM
2

Same. I’m in a very happy relationship and stumbled across an incel sub and was pulled into a rabbit hole. It was a little like watching a train wreck. I then found this sub. It still astounds me how people make generalizations about both genders based off of one or two bad experiences. There’s billions of people out there and some of those people are gonna be bad people
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/19 03:36 PM
2

I’ve said no, and meant no in that moment. But usually if I still want to potentially sleep with the guy later I say not this time. Don’t sleep with girls who play these games. They continue to play games because guys allow it. Grow a backbone and learn to walk away from crazy girls who play games. Yes sure some exist (especially younger women) but don’t stick your dick in them. It’s begging for trouble.

It’s the constant airbrushing, photoshop etc that women get mad at. Even most models don’t look as good as their pictures. A lot of adults know this and it’s industry standard but young women and girls often don’t know this. Also in movies the rail thin girl eats cheeseburgers all day and is still rail thin while in reality the actress only eats salad and works out 3 hours a day. This massively depends on context. Why is he refusing sex with me? If it’s just because he doesn’t find me sexually appealing anymore then he’d be gone ASAP. If he went through some kind of extreme trauma I’d suggest couples counseling and individual counseling and see if we can salvage the relationship. If he is sick or majorly injured I would stay with him and invest in some vibrators.

Nothing. Hands down. If I have feelings and he doesn’t, the sex isn’t worth it

Beer and music. But we have both gotten into each other’s hobbies. My fiancé takes me fishing and we have so much fun and I take my fiancé to art shows and galleries and we have a ton of fun. He has found so many art styles he enjoys now. As long as you are growing together and take a genuine interest in them the relationship will be fine

I have a bullmastiff, not a pit bull. I was living by myself when I got him and wanted an eventual guard dog. He’s a total sweetheart but I can take him on walks in the dark and no one messes with us because he is 135 lbs. He’s a big gentle giant who loves kittens and babies but he’s got a loud bark and won’t let anything near our apartment. I’m a 5’1 woman and definitely don’t look masculine btw

It’s insecure guys who do this and a lot of unattractive men are insecure. I’ve had unattractive men I was giving a chance do this. Unattractive guys who are secure are usually really great just like secure attractive men

My fiancé is skinnier than me, I’m not overweight but he is a super lanky man. I don’t resent him really. Sometimes I get jealous that he can basically eat whatever he wants and not gain any weight, but I mean he eats mostly what I eat because I cook

I hate the commercial because it’s annoying. Who videos themselves on a bike everyday and acts like it’s the most important thing in the world? It’s not rooted in fact, it’s rooted in feelings. The only reason it was taboo was because of pregnancy. One of our closest evolutionary species has sex for almost any reason and they do it constantly.

People view god and his teachings (where the sacred view of sex comes from) as a made up being.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/19 04:53 PM
3

I don’t believe all the things I was taught as a kid. I was taught to believe in Santa and the Easter bunny. I also am not religious at all anymore. My views on if you are a good or bad person comes from if you are actively trying to harm others vs trying to make the world a better place for others. And people having consensual sex outside of marriage aren’t harming anyone so I don’t think they are bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/19 04:41 PM
2

I mean if you are practicing safe sex techniques then there isn’t a lot of risk. A lot of people have always held love in a high regard. But this all depends on the individual. Some people don’t feel those love feelings until after sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/19 04:36 PM
2

This is assuming sex makes you a bad person, I personally don’t believe it makes you a bad person because it’s not harming anyone as long as it’s consensual. And no if someone told you to kill them then it would be consensual(assisted suicide is a thing in progressive cultures), but your example is not consensual it’s revenge. Again people have different views on things. That’s ok. We are adults with freedom of thought.

Sex and killing people are totally different things. One is actively harming another person and sex is not unless it’s not consensual. Usually it’s teenagers that rebel when hormones are flying. If one woman rebels and realizes sex isn’t as sacred she’s going to tell her friends and it spreads. Why do men rebel and push for sex before marriage? You are acting like this is some crazy thing but it’s completely normal. The only reason teenagers weren’t have premarital sex was pregnancy and being sc…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/19 04:10 PM
3

Women rebel because other women have rebelled. Women have been having casual sex for decades now and the women who have been having casual sex tell other women it’s not a big deal. Also there are primal urges in both men and women to have sex. Men are encouraged to have sex early all the time by peers and the media, just like women are.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/19 03:59 PM
2

Why do you think everyone thinks sex is intimate? Some people think it’s just an itch to scratch. Some people view love as super intimate while sex is meaningless. I don’t think it’s hypocritical, just different than your opinion. People are allowed to have differing views. The people who view sex as special usually aren’t the same people turned off by an “I love you” unless it’s super early because if you barely know the person how do you know you love them.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/19 03:57 PM
3

If the man was pushing for sex before a ltr he already doesn’t view it as special. He grows up hearing wait till marriage too. He’s also rebelling
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/19 03:37 PM
3

I literally said. Some people don’t care what they were taught growing up. If you tell them to X they will do Y. This isn’t a gendered thing both men and women do this.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/19 03:29 PM
3

Some women are. Some women don’t view sex as special just like some guys. Some people are rebels and don’t give two shits what they grew up believing.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/19 03:26 PM
3

The argument was all men think sex is special though. And they don’t all think it’s special. Sure you are allowed to believe it’s special. I personally think sex is special too. Different people want different things and that’s ok. It’s none of my damn business if my man whore friends wanna sleep with anyone same as it’s none of my business that I have male friends who are waiting till marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/19 03:25 PM

Women who don’t value sex had the same revelation...we all grew up learning sex was special. There are men who value sex a lot. Of course. That doesn’t mean all do.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/19 03:17 PM

That’s not true. Guys who get laid easy enjoy sex but they don’t see it as this special thing. At least not the guys I know who pull tons of chicks. It’s just something they enjoy doing.

I can’t stand porn. I like there to be love and romance and I’ve never found a video that does that for me. I do enjoy some sexy stories where I can use my imagination. I’ve tried porn a couple times and it didn’t do anything for me at all, I was honestly disgusted

Sex is important to some people and it’s not to other people. There are tons of women into poly who don’t care about it but that’s not the majority. I personally think sex is important and a very emotional/bonding experience. I put a high value on it, but that doesn’t mean everyone does.

For me there is definitely a difference between noticing a guy who is objectively attractive and actually wanting to be with him in any way shape or form. Just like I can objectively know when another woman is hot but don’t want to physically be with them either. I’ve never had a guy get upset when I wanted to wait that was actually high value. The second they throw a fit over having to wait I don’t view them as high value any more. Also if a guy wants to sleep with someone else while I’m making him wait a few dates then, bye. There are plenty more fish in the sea. I’ve never had trouble dating or finding high value men btw. If the guy likes you enough he will wait

My fiancé watches porn and I have no problem with casual viewing sometimes. I do think porn addiction is a bad thing. I also am viscerally turned off by almost all porn I’ve seen. I’m 26 and can count on my fingers the amount of times I’ve watched porn. It doesn’t do anything for me. I find romance much more sexy and can just use my imagination. My fiancé uses porn but he’s been using it a lot less since we got together, he even cancelled his subscription (without me asking). Some men definitely rely on porn too much but I don’t see anything wrong with watching porn occasionally if it’s what you are into.

I don’t think this fits with reality. By not wanting marriage and kids you are going against the grain. Most people assume that’s what others want because it is what most people want. Usually the odd one out says if they want something against the grain. I’ve never had this problem, I bring up the future and eventual kids after a few months because I don’t want to waste my time, but I know a lot of women who don’t and haven’t had issues

I still don’t get why it disqualifies something as a hobby if it’s useful...I crochet and that can be considered useful because I’m created something but it is still a hobby. Men do woodworking as a hobby but that’s also a useful hobby.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/19 02:51 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/19 05:17 AM

That doesn’t fix that most people who want to adopt want to adopt new born babies not children. There are a bunch of single moms who aren’t single till their kids are toddlers.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/19 07:18 PM
7

Adoption isn’t very common...and the foster care system is worse than single moms a lot of the time (there are great foster care families but also a lot of abusive foster care families as well) it’s much easier logistically to keep families together when possible.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/19 05:10 PM

The policies that are in place are to help children not the adult women. We don’t want a bunch of homeless children and more often than not, fathers don’t want to be primary care givers (of course there are outlier amazing fathers who would kill to be the primary caregiver). Single women (and me ) without children don’t receive very much help if at all.
