Was in your situation. I switched to hospitality. I earned more money and was far less exhausting than labouring. It took me around the world too. Apply for a barback position to start. I've recently switched to retail and now this is the easiest money ive ever made. The work you are doing is not worth the money, because it is too energy draining. Get out.

Jeez, that's incredibly rude. A guy could never get away with saying that.

Interesting post. I am suffering from the exact same thing as you. I want to hear more from the posters who have said 'you are alpha male instead of a real person' or 'you are chad now'. I need more explanation on this.

How are you? Dread game seems to have worked well. I made myself naturally busy with other friends and other things in my life and they must've felt that and so their behaviour toward me has definitely changed back to the positive of the way it used to be. I haven't really called them to hang out and just let them call me. At what point do I return to calling them regularly? Or do I wait for them to say "Hey! what's up with you bro we never hear from you anymore" and then let them know how I fel…

Upvote for your answer. Agree entirely. It is hard to make friends in adulthood but it can be done.

Loved reading your story. Loved the line where you said you wanted to call your late father and tell him about your achievement. I'm sure he's 'watching'. :)

Thanks for your comments. I think I'll take your advice. Looking back last several months I think maybe I came off as a needy friend myself. And now I'll need to apply dread game to restore my value. This actually worked wonders with another friend now I think of it, and his respect for me went up by a mile. I just find it funny that I never put them down, joking or not, and the moment they feel free to do it they do it to me to make themselves feel good. But I do not compare myself to them in t…

So do you think this is the better route for now while I get back on top of things (such as a new career in law enforcement hopefully happening in a few months). Do you not suggest hit back with other embarrassing jokes at all (not really my thing however)?

I can't remove them, they are some of my best and closest friends. I think withdrawing myself a bit is not a bad idea however - I have been working on myself alot.

Been in the exact same situation at your age. You described it perfectly. Everyone calls it 'playing around' but after reading that they've definitely gotten under your skin and I consider it bullying too. I got lucky. One of the guys bullying me ended up killing himself. The other guy ended up going to south america for six months and by the time he got back I had quit. The third guy pushed me over the line, I was doing boxing at the time and was super confident, so I cornered him in a room one…

Glad I could help you out mate. No one really answered your question properly. Let me know how it goes. I know there's one here in Sydney that I'm yet to join but I almost did one when I lived in New York. Really regret not joining them for a night out now. Good luck.

Search for pick up groups in your area on Facebook. They're usually called 'RSD something something'

I do share trading on this side. Have been for the last eight years and am hoping to make it a primary income by the ten year mark. I'm a full time bartender on the face of it.

I have yes, but I get called handsome, hot, gorgeous, at least once a week by either random girls or girls i know. So it leaves me in a confused state. I know alot of these girls no guys bother to talk to or whatever - but I'm a nice guy and try to get to know everyone and treat everyone equally. My question is do even high value SMV guys have not-so-high SMV girls chasing them - or do they give up once you surpass a certain threshold. My reasoning was that because im tall and skinny, you'll get…

UWS - Bourbon Street bar - picked up a few chicks from there when I used to live in NYC. Non-pretentious bar. Can sit at the bar by yourself no judgements. Start chatting to those who come up to drink.

Same age. Get a job behind a cool bar. I always do that when I need a new circle. Pretty hard to make the kinda friends you're looking for through gym or martial arts.

"Hey, we should hang out, let me take your number." or if you've discovered an activity you both enjoy "Hey, would you like to go to (xyz event) next week, great, give me your number"

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
