could actually see the old corny techniques making a comeback given how few men have the balls to approach at all these days

As long as it’s a throwaway job and won’t affect future career prospects go right on ahead. It’ll be a great story and you’ll learn a lot about yourself. Don’t listen to the small souls in this thread too timid to truly live.

You are still very young. Perfect time to hit the gym hard and you can be a beast in 2-3 years. Pick out one other desirable hobby (martial arts, dance, mixology…), make memories whenever possible (travel, spontaneous socializing, etc), go out and talk to women with a spirit of experimentation and curiosity, and think about how to advance your career. Your life can be a grand adventure if you want it to be, but not if you choose the path of self-pity and pessimism. I was a virgin till 25 and hav…

Bill Ackman’s advice actually isn’t bad: walk up to a woman, ask her “may I meet you”, and go from there. If you’re new to meeting women and visibly nervous feel free to mention that, they might actually be charmed by the honesty. IMO just getting some conversations under your belt and learning that women generally won’t bite your head off will go a lot further at this point than trying to juggle a bunch of “theory” in your head and confusing yourself. Go into it with an attitude of play and exp…

Do you aspire to be the kind of man who requires such tricks to get attention from women? That’s really the only truly important question here. And FWIW I’ve been forthright with women when I don’t plan to date them seriously. We stay on good terms and they come smash in between their other men moving forward.

Be a good person to sleep soundly at night, not because it’ll get you women. And paradoxically the strong and non-needy mentality this instills will end up helping with women, too. This might require some introspection and work to figure out. Psychadelics can help.

if a woman does it in a classy way and you think they’re a cool person, nothing wrong with thanking them for the candor and keeping things positive. There are many other women and your self-worth shouldn’t depend on them, so no need to get butthurt about it

go on the apps and tell girls exactly this, I bet one of them will be into it just for the novelty. Some women take pride in being someone’s first

Hooking up with one is feasible, locking one down will be harder since they have options. Not to be blunt but it’s the way of the jungle

“why would anyone learn a lifelong skill that you can do nearly anywhere in the world at any age, that forces you to interact with (and lead) beautiful women, that builds physical coordination and confidence, and that many women find sexually attractive” 🤣 Also not a Mexican dance brother. The history is from Cuba, Puerto Rico, and New York, and it remains the most popular partner dance in the world.

Your life is just beginning. Hit the gym seriously, take salsa dancing lessons, be smart with money, and you can be a stud by 21.

Good chance to get physical, start playful (throw her in the pool) and go from there. Maybe it’ll turn into skinny dipping and you’ll make some memories. Let us know how it goes

Do salsa dancing, not ballroom. Ballroom is a performance sport, salsa is a social activity you can do anywhere in the world and gives you a decisive leg up in dating
