Lol my LTR told me she looked up the Roosh thing and didn't actually believe he was a rapist. It was always pretty flimsy. Still thinks he's an ass or whatever. I've never talked about any of this stuff with her btw.

Assuming you're having kids and taking the risks along with that, hopefully you're raising your kids to think properly. Going to big important schools is also used as signalling, and if you can give your kid a heads up to PC bullshit, there's no reason to not give them the chances that a good school (or any school) would provide.

NO BPD girls. Many of them self-diagnose and are all too aware of their status of having BPD and what it allows them to get away with. She may like you and you might have fun but she's not really LTR material man. My (former) buddy married a girl with BPD. No man. Just no. An admitted number of 18 ( so actually > 18) and BPD = this girl is not emotionally ready to be in an LTR like you probably want. Next

Never get angry at this. Agree and amplify / amused mastery. Re-frame to point out you're choosing / not sure about here / etc. This only came up once, so YMMV. I met a girl through friends who was throwing shit test left and right on the first date. At one point she started listing the things she's looking for in a bf, basic requirements. It was snowflake stuff as you'd expect. I actually started giggling, asked her how many guys are willing to actually listen to this stuff. Glanced at my phone…

I liked the original post but this just comes off as lazy. If you want to become part of the social elite, you have to engage with some of the things they do. I find it kind of strange that you dismiss Dickens and Shakespeare. Shakespeare is pretty much a repository of TRP wisdom while at the same time considered canonical. Your argument seems to be that the average young man would be better off with more practical intellectual and professional pursuits, and a minimum of high-minded classic lite…

Are you tied to him in any contractual or practical way? Is he bankrolling? It sounds like he is very action-oriented, even if he's not thinking everything through as you would like. To take the other side, do you have plans to engage any clients / investors / anything? He may be antsy because he sees you planning a lot and not doing. It's hard to give advice without more details. You may need to just keep pushing in the direction you have in mind until you have something accomplished you can sh…

Well, that just seems wrong on the nose. Not even trying to be a dick about LaVeyan satanism either, I assume that it's practiced a bit differently depending on your community but the literature I saw seemed very "branded" for lack of a better word

If you are into the occultism and the esoteric as a means towards self improvement, go for it. But LaVey - style satanism seems more like a family business to me.

There have also been a number of posts by TRP subscribers that talk about short-term and long-term gratification. Search function. Food for thought.

Marcus Aurelius - Meditations http://www.sacred-texts.com/cla/aurelmed.htm I'd buy a hard copy... probably less than $5 USD at a used bookstore. Try to find great men in history and then read either their biographies/affairs or autobiographies. Can't think of any? Try harder.

Yeah, I wouldn't have gone through with it. Though it was expertly done, and cynically timed. Oz definitely needed some good publicity this week. Some of the SJWs I knew before I got rid of FB probably moved very quickly from hating on Oz for his intellectual dishonesty re: GMOs and supplements, right to wanting to polish his pole for standing up to Roosh, demon that he is.

Yes this whole lawsuit was quite cynically planned, I believe, hoping that the pussy pass would be accepted. The more I read about this, the more it seems that she was a particularly manipulative person. Obviously there is going to be the element of gendered discrimination that they were hoping to cash in on, but this reminded me of a book I once skimmed in a bookstore about high level sociopaths and manipulators within big companies / organizations. You'll often read here that AWALT, but this i…

Posting this after coming home at like 6:30 AM from a Christmas party, very drunk/wired. I've used monk mode a lot strategicaly as a way to make myself go to the gym, give myself time to go buy food and eat properly, do my laundry and buy new clothes so I don't feel like a bum, and commute a from a well paying but poorly located job. Agreed fully though, I used to use it as an excuse to smoke pot and not go out to social gatherings. Weird borderline things (for me): being introspective and readi…

I'm not going to think about marriage for at least 5 years but I have always wanted to start a family, to be honest. Taking the red pill was a significant adjustment in my life, yet I still want to have children. I also have been thinking long term about how to set up a situation where I can start a family. Very distrustful of women in general, and wary of marriage but I'm not ruling it out. I have started reading married game books to better keep an eye out for a woman who might (might) be a go…

I don't know what your phrasing was like when you messaged them, but I wouldn't message any more. See if they get back to you. If she (they) doesn't (don't) flake out, then do your best to maintain frame and flirt with both a little. It takes a while, not sure how much confidence you have, but I've had a fun time flirting with more than one girl at a time. You should go for it, even (especially) if it's out of your comfort zone.

I don't know if you wanted to salvage this, or if you wanted to bed her, but if so you could have done it better. You could have said less. You probably shouldn't have gotten into it with straight talk like you did. Feminists don't want to hear that. I've gotten more success with a playful, "Look, feminism isn't a thing," or something similar than I ever have trying to dissect pay statistics. You could have said, "They already make too much." When you encounter "the Patriarchy" as an argument ag…

This is where the importance of male spaces and male mentoring comes in. The traditional support systems that men had have largely been feminized or don't exist altogether. It used to be generally accepted that men and women were different, and now that we deny this basic fact, the support systems had to go as they are viewed by feminists as fraternal/patriarchal/misogynist.

Perhaps I did mistake your meaning. From your quick explanation of her reaction, I read that as you wanting to employ straight talk with her to disarm her. Disarm her you did, but at the same time you shut down the possibility of the dialogue you seem to be desire, ensuring that the next interaction would still be a social game. You played your phone, until she relented and asked for a massage. Again, these are social games and not the dialogue you seek. That's really the context in which I was …

The rationale fits what I observe in real life. The most obnoxious SJW (male and female) that appear on my facebook, I know them to have had a very privileged life so far. I also just made the connection why every one of these SJWs I know conveniently avoid discussing economic disparity. It hits close to home in a dissonant way, plus economic disparity is not as sexy or socially-lubricated issue.

Should be preserved in sidebar for general TRP reading. When my friends ask why I'm not willing to marry, I usually say something flippant like, "we don't love them hoes" or "just waiting for the wrong type of woman", but really this is a good list of marriage-related terrors.

I disagree with a few of the particulars that have been laid out by others, though the broad strokes are correct. No, 98% of women and 90% of men can not hold an interesting conversation. - /u/sir_wankalot_here I would say closer to 68% and 60%, though some general TRP - induced misanthropy can be forgiven. These numbers might seem like bull (and they are) but what I'm getting at is there are some really low SMV males and females out there. Personalities develop for a reason. Dialogues take two …

Rather than downvote you to oblivion, I'll just say that this isn't the point of this thread / topic. What OP and everyone else is getting at is that there's nothing a guy can do to not objectify a woman, under feminist appraisal / definition. Why? It's decided post hoc, after they've been ogled, approached, glanced at, or ignored. See my reply about the facebook page hamster.

The general TRP consensus is that feminism is incoherent - that is it doesn't make sense and isn't consistent as a way of thinking. It's inherently contradictory. Related observation: I recently finished university. The undergrads had a Facebook page for the undergrads to post student life crap, events, gossip, etc. It's mostly a pain to bother reading it, but occasionally it is entertaining. A new fall semester is starting. Parents and freshman everywhere on campus. Anyway, cue the "creep" and …

Yes, it often comes with the territory. The label, not the actual sentiment. First of all "asshole" is not really a specific term. Some modern philosopher wrote a book about assholes, and the profile he gives is very similar to the dark triad. Don't sweat it. There's more than one reason a girl might keep her friends away from you. Also as long as you avoid beta mannerisms, you can probably land one of them. One of my roommates in college had a brother and sister around too. The younger brother …

Girls at work: Complicating factor is that girls can get pretty cunt-y in group and work situations. You probably weren't dominant enough to dissaude them from fucking with you, but not enough info to go on. Was the bus-stop girl ever hostile / shaming you in the past or during high school? If not, you might have actually de-betafied a little since she saw you (but perhaps not enough to convince her you were a serious alpha). One of the things you'll often have reinforced in life (and hence /r/T…

Don't confront her about anything. IMO you already sent too many messages and engaged in too long a back and forth. "Didn't know you thought I'm like that." (WHY SEND THIS, BRO?) Should have just written "K" or "np" or "no problem" or something. Now having made that misstep, you really should have stopped at "The decision is yours." You're in high school. Even the more well-behaved girls will often use high school or college as their condensed CC ride. Leave her enough rope to hang herself and s…

Nice breakdown. Number (3) really bugs me too, coming from a STEM background. When we talk about whether there's a causal influence of one variable on another, we're typically engaged in descriptive science. And when we talk about moral responsibility or public policy, we know we've entered the domain of values. But when we go beyond claims of causal influence to claims about "the cause" of something, or to claims that "X causes Y," we've entered the danger zone — a place where values play a rol…

You're abusing language. An object/value is not distinct in and of itself. It is distinct in comparison to a whole or another part of a whole. /u/raymokid is correct. Your language was vague. Consecutive scores on the 1-10 are more distinct (denote a greater difference in attractiveness). Individual scores on the 1-25 scale are more informative on their own, which is probably closer to what you meant. 0,1,2 scale is perfect. Would you fuck her? If so would you life about having fucked her?

In the context of ideal male/female marriages, I don't think this is that far off. The problem is that few people are telling the same thing to their daughters anymore, mothers and fathers included. " What’s the secret to a happy marriage? Marry someone who has also embraced the only good reason to get married. " He's not WRONG, it's just that finding such a person outside of a tight-knit religious community is pretty damn unlikely.

I've heard (second or third hand obviously) on podcasts and the like that Bill Maher is quite a womanizer, and apparently has a huge dong. Add the fact that he's a successful TV personality, he's doing okay. He doesn't need to worry about the toxic aspects of modern feminism.

There are many scales one could use. I think the 1-30 is an alright one. The main thing is to avoid pedestalizing. I think just the process of arguing out a scale and ranking some girl you know with friends can help fight off pedestalization, no matter what scale you use. One of your friends is bound to point out something you didn't notice. That said, Patrice's scale is pretty close to what my friends and I use. It's ternary, pretty much a binary with a clarification: 0 - No. Not doing it. 1 - …

I should point out for anyone wanting to chase down the reference that it is from Nineteen Eighty Four, by Orwell. Not Bradbury. It refers to a never-ending, shifting war between super states, the changing tides always glossed over by propoganda. EDIT: Sorry, see now you wrote "off topic but..."

Start spinning plates if you're not already. Without even noticing it you will be less dependent on any one of the girls you're seeing. This will allow you to make better decisions in the long run anyway because you'll be less desperate.
