This is what i've been doing and i'm a clinical sperglord as well. My first dates were absolutely fucking dreadful. I've noticed that i'm starting to become a really assertive person that is in tune with what he actually wants. Don't let a diagnosis define you, being socially retarded is a given (especially in the beginning) if you have asperger's but you can drill your way past it and start playing according to your natural strengths. You are overanalyzing things and acting as if it is not possible to continue the interaction beyond asking her for her number. The point of this whole approach strategy is to prove that the first thing that you say doesn't really matter and that rejections are bound to happen. Overanalyzing things will make you less prone to approach girls, so don't do it.

I started online. What you do have to note is that i didn't really speak to women for the first 22 years of my life and was actually scared shitless when i went on my first dates. This translated to them smelling my social anxiety and lack of confidence, which didn't really get me anywhere in the start (except to the friend zone of course).
