I have a very long answer for you. I'm going to edit this later. I'm just busy with a client right now and I didn't want you to think I was ignoring you.

Don't let it discourage you, little sister. There are things in the Bible which are there to illustrate how people shouldn't behave, but some decide that these should be examples for them instead. I recommend the studies of Jen Wilkin. She is a Calvinist teacher. She doesn't condescend to women and, unlike many Christian female authors, she doesn't seem to assume that her audience is married women with children. Studies for single women are always about preparing for a man. I hate it. She wants …

For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:27-28 ) This is as good an endorsement of equality in the Bible as any you will find. People who want to hate and oppress choose to ignore this.

I am Christian. This is not how we were created. If you read the Genesis narrative, men and women were essentially punished with these hierarchical roles due to the consequences of sin. If any man values the consequences of our sin nature more than the free, innocent and equal nature that was our original inheritance from God, he is no one anyone should marry. He doesn't understand the Word well enough to assume headship in a home.

It's also super easy to measure liquids properly in these jars. What a hateful dick.

You need to develop better fork reflexes. If he'd been eating with me, he'd need a tourniquet after reaching for my plate.

That's a man who's gotten entirely too much pussy in his life. I don't know who's touching him. I wouldn't go near him.

Meanwhile, I'm a childfree woman with two degrees who makes six figures running her own business. I was that woman before I got married too. I love my husband dearly, but I'd be just as financially secure if he weren't in my life. Edit: I also own an apartment in NYC. Bought it 10 years before I even met my husband.

I've never seen anything "transphobic" in here either. Delusional fucks just straight up making shit up now because they know all they have to do is scream transphobia to silence women's subs.

The truth is never "phobic". That's just male gaslighting and manipulation. If I'm so homophobic, how come so many lesbians are my girls? 😂

Co-sign all of this. I don't know how it is in other parts of the country or world, but in NYC, you can't reserve at the best restaurants without giving them your credit card at least, if not a deposit. If the man is making the reservation, it doesn't seem worth the risk.

Thanks! I'm going to try that setting spray if you say it's good enough for under the mask. My skin is so oily, nothing works.

Girl, I'm praying hard for you right now that he just finds his way out of your life. You've already been through too much. Edit: And he's obviously not guileless if he's got aliases. What the fuck is wrong with people and their misplaced sympathies? They're the ones the news interviews who say "He was such a nice guy. Kept to himself". My hope is that he wasn't paying his rent or had some other issues with the management so they have no hesitation in throwing him out without it coming back to y…

The fuck. My skin is crawling, I couldn't finish watching that. When he starts his list of "so many things that need to be fixed" he says "prison system" first and then there's a long pause after. Guess he's been locked up. Homeless is his next choice. Can't guess why.

One of my best friends is just like you. We've been friends since high school and she's the sweetest, most soft-spoken person in the world, but she looks like she'd cut someone. Meanwhile, I'm the one who's ready to vaseline my face and snatch a bitch baldheaded. 😂 She's almost 6 feet tall and suffered a lot of bullying through grammar and high school. We sat next to each other in homeroom, and we took to each other right away. To this day, she doesn't speak up for herself because she thinks it'…

Yes, we may be twins. I have a round face, giant eyes, curls and freckles. People often tilt their heads when they're looking at me, like they're saying "awww" in their heads. Babies and old people smile at me in the street for no good reason. I get called baby by younger women a lot. I'm 48.

I actually have the opposite problem. I call it Resting Sweet Face. People approach me all the time when I can't be bothered. Lately, I've noticed that, while wearing a mask, all you can see about me are my "don't fuck with me" eyes (as my husband calls them). My walk is very brusque. I've noticed that people stay out of my way more, and make fewer assumptions about my patience and kindness. I may wear a mask forever. 😂

I got tired of men looking at my ass at the Equinox. I started wearing workout skirts. Especially on the spin bike. I have some styles with longer leggings too. Like this.

Unlike most of these men out here, I can actually cook. I'd rather eat what I cook any night of the week, and I live in a city full of great restaurants. Even if I weren't completely flush (and married 😊), why would I sit across from some boring, hostile, crusty-ass motherfucker for the sake of a free meal?

Never date a man who doesn't like cats. When I was dating, I always did the cat test. Even when I didn't have a cat 😂. Also don't date a man who doesn't have pets or even a plant in his house. If he doesn't even have a fish, he has no concept of taking care of anything except himself (and he may be incapable of that). Plants are especially telling, because it lets you know that they can nurture something that can't insist upon its care and feeding. The first time I went over to my now husband's …

If he goes so far as to ask you to marry him, you can sue for Breach of Promise in some places. I think we should make this more widespread again. Men would stop fucking around like this. Hopefully, women would also stop giving up wifey shit without expectations.

I don't drink alcohol or coffee, so that used to take those options off the table when I was dating. I always preferred brunch over dinner where first dates were concerned for a few reasons: 1. No all day build up to a dinner date. It cuts down on the anxiety. I have busy, active mornings and I just made the date part of my day. If it went well, I had something nice to think about for the rest of the day. If not, I'd just go shopping or something. 2. Dinner dates are traditionally a romantic set…

It's no mystery why men have higher rates of Covid. Everybody's like "It's because of their higher body mass" or "Men are more likely to be smokers". No. It's because they're fucking nasty and never wash their hands. I'm happy my man has OCD. I'm never trying to correct that.

Living his best life and helping others. Excellent post and point. Look for a man who spends time helping others who ARE NOT in his family and/or can't do him any favors. One of the things that really sold me on my hubs was how much time he devoted to helping strangers clean up and rebuild after SS Sandy. He and his family are in construction so he donated materials too. NEVER bragged about it. The only friends he told about it were those he recruited to help out on sites.

Looks like his girlfriend left "unexpectedly" a year ago, and he hasn't picked up since. Edit: Disgusting. He's probably shirtless because he doesn't have a stitch that isn't filthy.

I can imagine what that "extreme clean" will entail. Piles of unwashed laundry and dishes. Dog piss and poop everywhere. Pee bottles 😂. He's looking for a live in slave. I give it a week until he tries to fuck them--male or female.

This is fabulous. 💕 One of my life goals is to "embroider neatly", like Catherine in "The Heiress". My ultimate pick-me to goddess role model.

Great idea! Jinsoon is also a great place to go, if you're close to NYC. It was always very sanitary, even before the pandemic restrictions. You get a very high quality Mani/Pedi spa treatment, and it's comparable in price with other city salons. Edit: It's also a woman-owned business

Yeah, I've been told I was "too sensitive" after a sly insult. I said, yes, you're right. I'm very sensitive to assholes and their fuckery. Guess who was too sensitive then? 😂

This is why I always tell my girlfriends to wear their best jewelry when they're going out with a guy. Let him see what you're used to. I have lots of interesting and expensive jewelry--some I bought for myself, some were gifts. When we were dating, my husband asked me what kind of gifts I like. I said "Gold". Our first dating anniversary, he bought me a Cartier Love bangle. My engagement ring is also Cartier. He knows I don't put up with bullshit or bad quality anything. If your man can't be tr…

My husband is a very good man in every imaginable way ( and in a few I never imagined), but I don't count on him to recall anything that was discussed in an even vaguely emotional conversation. Anything that could be regarded as criticism or questioning his motives or actions would be regarded as emotional. Men just can't hear it. They are basically in fight/flight mode in even a calm, logical conversation if it touches upon their ego. Therefore, I treat all conversations of this nature like a f…

Bad strategy. I've worked in finance. Those are some boring, basic, unimaginative motherfuckers. If they didn't make enough money to do the shit they do they'd have nothing whatever to offer.
