I think the only reason you believe that is because of the media. I think you will find most people on either side are reasonable, honest Americans who happen to have different ways of thinking. my parents divorced when I was 8, and it has created so many problems for me and my brother. I’ve lived in so many houses and my childhood was basically ruined. I never got the opportunity to have friends or have anything that anyone else had. At least now I have a job and I can buy whatever I want but it still has a lasting effect on me

It’s just like Oregon. The biggest city/metropolitan area is blue, while the rural areas are red. If you look at a map of political affiliation by county or city you will find that the large cities are blue, and cover such a small area but control the state. Yeah, they know exactly what they’re doing. It’s funny how they try to convince everyone it’s because it’s “comfortable” or makes them feel “confident”.
