I'm not on my knees cold calling begging people to buy whatever shitty product I'm commissioned to sell them. I think you have it backwards -- the scummy part is how I would feel doing your job. I don't feel scummy being well compensated for an elite education and skillset, that's my value and what I deserve to earn. And I learn interesting new things about various industries and companies as opposed to being a less-efficient human advertisement

Wat, that goes against the grain of this entire sub. That's basically saying go straight to LTR lol

I'm just saying this analogy that's thrown around about sales and getting women is not useful or adequate. The better analogy is interviewing <--> dating. Both very similar approaches, and interestingly people who do well in one tend to do well in other. There's also different level of sales, I'm assuming most of the people on here that are in "sales" are cold-calling people, or work in a retail store where they earn commissions on physical items they get idiots to buy. Tech sales where you have…

I still make more money in 4 months than you likely make in an entire year, I don't care if i'm scummy. xD I work in finance in NYC there bud, I'm quite alright in that department. The rest of that diarrhea, like a girl saying "I have a Boyfriend", I shall ignore.

Do I give a fuck in general? Yes, I want to get the most out of life and experience everything there is, including the opposite sex. Do I give a fuck in each individual circumstance? No, because I already have a girl who would do anything for me and I trust so I don't need new ones badly enough where I'm in used car salesman mode of "never take no for an answer"

Do you work at an actual car dealership? Yikes man I would never wanna do that lol Didn't realize people actually still bought cars from dealers anymore, surprised that's even a viable profession in this day and age

Most of those responses aren't good, never mention "Cheating" or don't compare yourself in anyway, just makes it awkward. Also I never follow it up with any question about the relationship. Ignoring is the best and only option, if you continue talking and conversing and she stays interested then you're fine, if not, then it was probably a "fuck off" not a shit test.

That's what I like about being on the other end of the sale, I get to tell scummy salesguys like you to literally fuck off. Women are too dainty to do it though EDIT: Also why I hate the "Sales" comparison to getting women: if you work in sales that is quite literally your livelihood, how you make money, etc. you have a simply economic incentive to always sale with 0 regard to your customer. Dating women is in very little ways similar, I'm not going to desperately try and do anything possible to…

Lol I was sash and dash, but the OA ceremony they did around a huge bonfire where they had dudes sprinting FULL SPEED around the circle literally grabbing kids into the night was always epic. And yeah this was inevitable, it's kinda sad to feel a part of the downfall, and witness it first hand, when I was a kid I had so many great male role models to look up to and when I left, I hoped I was one myself, but I saw that less and less importance was placed on the real issues and more on resume buil…

At the end of the day, being social is an exercise for me, and like the fear of losing the [albeit, pathetic] muscles I've built, the thing that keeps me going is wanting to avoid that horrible feeling of regret where I didn't approach a cute girl I wanted to talk to. Hence, saying anything is better than analytically driving a "slow disarm", whatever that is. A good escalation would be making out with a girl, that will really let you know if shes into you. ...the whole point of escalating is getting to that point, wtf lol? Literally seems troll like that Casually Explained video. And re: phone numbers, I agree it's all about in-person interaction, but if I run into a girl briefly on say public transportation or on the street, we don't exactly have time to escalate properly, so the next best option is getting a form of contact to set up a time to devo…

It's just that sometimes I want to fuck a girl with huge huge tits, like, right now. And that's hard to find. Same with a girl with huge ass. Or a black girl. Now that I think about it, I fuck too much, ha! I feel like this is what porn is for? That's the only reason I continue to use pornography despite having an insatiable LTR, is that I want a hotter girl than I'm currently with (and faker, skinny, not real).

Nice, thanks. I'm glad you have a strong, clear goal with obvious markers of success / progress. I'm not really sure what I want to do, I have a great job in NYC working in finance but my true passions are in, ironically, some of my previous beta/vice behaviors like video games. I'm not sure if it's chasing a pipe dream to want to be a streamer / esports figure but I am bored with the traditional goals in my career path, even though they're highly lucrative

The real reason is the quality, hot girls want to be picked up in real life, and will not fuck 99.9% of men off an app. And they are daily, so you have to be competing with the thirsty dudes who will open them on the street. Apps are beneficial to chubby girls who can hide it in pics and influence you through conversation so when you meet her you're not as turned off by her looks. Sure, there are decent ones but I'm talking the quality women who you want to be the mother of your children. It's h…

How do I reconcile enjoying a girlfriend with wanting to experience what's out there with potentially [hotter] women? I live in NYC if that gives you an image, it's really hard to see the benefits outweighing the cons of having a girlfriend due to the opportunity cost of missing out on meeting so many beautiful women.

In general, don't make excuses You're not accurately representing population demographics. People of like-ethnicities tend to live closer together (See: New Jersey) so most likely there are lots more Indians living in proximity relative to the overall population. This is especially the case for cities since so much of the white population lives in rural states that urban areas are incredibly diverse.

Boyfriend is one thing, I wouldn't have ethical qualms with banging a chick if she's sick of her boyfriend. She's the one with the issue at that point. But willingly pursuing a married woman, now that's a deeper low

The way he said it wasn't the best. The point is that if you suspect she's attracted to you, the goal is to create an intimate environment where she doesn't feel the societal pressures and can be herself around you -- which, assuming she's attracted to you, would naturally result in sex. Thanks for the contribution, go back to being a construction worker

Half of these endorsed people seem like whackos. Totally agree, a strong parental upbringing predicts success in all aspects of life. Extremely well said on the "sales pitch introductions", it just slows things down and is frankly hard to pull off. Just be quick and efficient and forward and women will react to that better than trying to make a big deal out of it.

I went to all all-guy high school, one of the greatest times of my life. It's just subtle reinforcement that women aren't the be-all-and-end-all. Focus on learning and getting stronger and your future, and the women will come. We literally got made fun of for being "gay" but magically all of our guys got way more women than the kids at the coed schools.

Was hoping for actually useful advice, got diarrhea on a page instead. Anyway, to those of you who are looking for pragmatic practical implementations: I try to follow the 3 second rule with approaching women. Only give my self 3 seconds to "decide" on what I'm gonna say before forcing myself to walk over, no matter if I have something or not. NEVER wait for your anxious thoughts to override yourself. If you wait too long, even if you sack up the courage she will know you waited instead of acted…

I'm not even saying he's good/bad at game, and not criticizing him for not being successful on the early attempts. You make some fair points, and I agree that if his friend wasn't going to smash there wasn't anything wrong with what he did inherently. I agree w.r.t the spirit of competition, but why cannibalize amongst your friends when there are hundreds of cute girls out at this festival? The setting just doesn't make sense. Claiming girls just seems efficient, why waste energy and time and resources competing for one girl (Thereby inflating her value) when you can put your own resources to better use?

I'm not even saying that disparagingly, I just find that demographic often comprises a large portion of festival crowds. I myself have gone to a a bunch of these so I'm just speaking from my anecdotal experience. As it relates, this story is just overly analytical, like dude congrats you slept with your worst and easiest option instead of going for new and interesting women you were supposed to meet at this festival. Exactly, these guys are just way too thirsty. I am not horny enough to fuck over one of my "best bros" like this, especially in a FESTIVAL WITH HUNDREDS/THOUSANDS OF OTHER WOMEN. This is actually a FR about how this guy had all this access to women on drugs, could barely kiss close one who was under the influence, and then took advantage of his loser friend by banging this slut who clearly wasn't going home alone no matter what. Forget about earplugs, the best solution is to use your phone as a white noise / pink noise machine. It might take one or two nights just to get used to, but once you do it's awesome, since it just fills the room with ambient sound which blocks out distractions as well as putting your mind in the state of mind to sleep. You even mention Pavlovian response -- the white noise is another great trigger to help your Circadian rhythm.

I'm not bashing even the worst case scenarios you mentioned there, which is "getting laughed at" (I think a more accurate term is berated, which is only things bitches do anyway) but if you are, exactly as you say, direct with your feelings, women will respect that. Ok here is tangible advice to help: Lose weight. And I'm not saying you're "fat" or overweight, I am saying you have to go all the way and be very skinny. If you're skinny, you're not as scary and you're one of those talls, mysterious hipster figures. If you're muscular or fat, that's when the physicality starts coming into play. If you look like you're malnourished, people won't fear you.

Don't take things so seriously. Not only will you enjoy life more, but that attitude of not giving a fuck is intrinsically attractive to women. Women care about everything and are terrified of violating social conventions and being seen as weird. When a guy does it, and subsequently doesn't let the faux pas phase him, she gets super turned on because alphas are above the constraints of the normal and boring.

Agreed on the addiction, I was right there with you. In terms of cause and effect though, I found that once I started smashing chicks and having success in my professional and sexual life, that: A. I had less time for games and didn't mind that -- I was/am getting laid! B. Still having moments of "downtime" where I play and sort of "Revert" back to my old self. Smoke weed, play video games, stay inside and shun the rest of the world. I'm just not sure if that's who I truly am -- an introvert who…

What do you mean by that term Video game alphas -- do you mean people who still game and say you can be alpha and do both? Video games for me definitely were an addiction at multiple points in my life. I'm much better now, and when I play I genuinely enjoy playing versus "grinding" and playing just because it kept me busy and not thinking about the real world / social life. That being said, and I'm not kidding you, I was on a roll this weekend playing League (climbed from Plat 2 to Diamond 4 in …

Love the literature references. Seriously, TRP is on to something here. I've done a fair bit of literature analysis and using TRP as a lens to understand authors and characters would be so freaking illuminating. Depending on how the world unfolds, I can see in 20 years colleges classes on "TRP in antiquity -- a study of Marcus Aureilius's Meditations" That being said, if you saw the people in my English classes in college, let's just say, that shit wouldn't exactly fly LOL.

You just need to approach life logically and understand that your current mindset (Thinking you will fail before you even try) is just illogical and holding you back. Just view things in a risk-neutral perspective and practice outcome independence. So what if you fail 2 out of 3 times (probably more realistic to you anyway). You just work on improvement and you will approach 50/50, and then, you will start to succeed more than you fail. And that's the inflection point bruh.

Reading the footnotes pretty much renders that study useless. It's 2 decades old There's obvious selection bias -- the marriage failure chart is for women over 30. Would be interested in any studies that actually support this. A simple regression on, As N-count increases, what happens to divorce rates / relationship strength? The hypothesis is definitely in your favor, I'm just curious to see the extent of the affect and if there are diminishing returns to sluttiness. In other words, after her 10th guy, she's just as slutty at the 20th as she was at the 10th. Something like that. I don't see why the same couldn't be said of men.

Just some key tips here: Escalate kino. Get her comfortable with your touch, which also helps you calibrate if she's even going to accept the kiss in the first place. You can't go from an interview-style date with no touching to then just pushing your ahead forward to kiss her. Change venues on the date -- helps the flow of the interaction. She won't feel as slutty kissing you if you've spent "more" time together (of course the actual amount of minutes is irrelevant, but she's in a different pla…

You're getting the causality mixed up. I'm saying that if she IS a great person, irrespective of her past, that a slutty past doesn't just automatically ding her. I feel like the natural course for people with a phobia that their girl has been with other men is to become Mormon or some other fundamental Christian religion lol. Tinder definitely isn't the place to find monogamy lol that's true. What I am telling myself, and it's a self-fulfilling prophecy, is that I'm the greatest guy she will, can, or has found on Tinder. So if she wants to risk losing me to fuck lesser men, that's her risk. And frankly I really don't care if she sleeps around as long as she doesn't contract an STD.

Once a slut, probably a slut. I'm just saying don't let the bias of her past affect your valuation of her in the present and the future. As with all things relationships, context is everything and you have to make that call yourself. Indicator, absolutely. Determinant? No. Ceterus Paribus, sure you'd prefer your girl to not have been railed out by double-digit number of guys. But I'm saying that just because you happened across the knowledge that she has a high n-count doesn't mean that she will necessarily continue to do so. Context is obviously important here. Is she still a young 20-something who goes out with her friends to bars and parties and gets wasted? Or is she a late-20's girl who had a past but is more mature now…

Love both those actors, Natalie Dormer is probably one of my favorite women in the world. What's with the ending though...why were they speaking telepathically and then some police squak box vocals overlaid the scene? Kinda confused lol.

Looking down while breaking eye contact is a sign of submission. Women do this on purpose because they're submitting to you, who is maintaining strong eye contact. The takeaway is to NOT look down while breaking eye contact. Look to the side, or up, but never down. I know women like me when the tension builds between us and she keeps fluttering her eyes up and down because she can't withstand my gaze. And this is within the framework that for me, eye contact was a huge problem and one that was c…

You're right that I can't treat her differently. You're probably right that I'm in too deep. But I'm at least going to enjoy the ride to the bottom. I mean that's what the red pill ultimately teaches, I'm showing my genuine intent to her and I really like her. If she gets bored than I move on. And I learn a lesson on the medium-term game. I don't think it's an emotional issue. It's just an issue of inexperience. I have literally never gotten this far with a girl with things working out as well as they are. Like, this is literally the ultimately best problem to have in life: "The chemistry between this girl and me is phenomenal and incredibly passionate and sexy. How do I keep up this euphoria?" Is basically my dilemma. And I mean all things fade, nothing lasts forever, etc. etc. I think the best I can do is just do what I did in …

Your methodology and philosophy aren't the best, that's why. It's all about taking baby steps on the social ladder, until you feel comfortable to start approaching women with the intent of sex. Everything you're describing seems to be more introversion and anti-social tendencies. Which trust me dude, I had. Big time. Start small and work at the micro level, instead of trying to get from A. No sex --> B. Sex. Incremental steps.

The real sad part of the "Dry spell" was that it was completely self-inflicted. I wasn't hounding after pussy, I basically had no lebido. I was a bona fide beta cuck haha. I just didn't think I needed to waste time with girls (in college!!!!!!!!!!) So it's not like it was constantly hovering over my head. I just one day decided to bang chicks. You can do the same man.

SUPER relevant to me right now -- I'm trying to find the balance between keeping things fresh and exciting, and not overdoing how often we text/hang out. But I don't want the facade to fade and for her to get bored of me. Or realize she's "got me". It's such a burden to have to lead and keep things interesting and fresh. I am totally a…

I don't buy a lot of their pseudo-evolutionary psychology stuff. They seem to think there's this big conspiracy that women are all in on -- in reality dating is much more chaotic and stochastic than they seem to imply. That being said, I think their philosophy does offer the optimal life of a man. And it's definitely helped me a lot, to go from not wanting to talk or hook up with women, to now having 3 plates and building a strong group of women that I'm talking to and socializing with. Wouldn't even describe it as nervousness. I don't actually care if I get rejected. It's more like you're sitting there talking to her and you have to find motivation to kiss this girl. It's the subtle feeling that "this is the time to go for it" and unlike in the movies and literature, there isn't some unexplainable force pushing you forward to her lips. You are sitting there as a mind and have to logically persuade yourself to execute. It's a simple matter of mental practice which allows you to…

The success rate on going in for a kiss is just pretty high on average. Like, if you use minimum discretion on building rapport and escalating with a girl, then you can aggressive go in for the kiss on girls and get above 50% success rate, EASILY. Then it's all about how you calibrate how many chicks you want to polarize towards you, versus how much failure you're willing to accept. It's just always a good idea to go for kisses when you're on a date, just force yourself to do it. The odds are ju…

Interesting point about being "found out" by women. This is more TRP stuff but their line of thinking is that women want a "natural" alpha -- they don't want the beta cucks like us (feelsbad) who then learn alpha behavior. They want the true naturals because it means it's hardcoded into their man's genetics. It's kind of depressing if you accept this reality because it means you can never go back. I think it's simply, 1-10 is a decile examination on attractiveness. A 9/10 means she's in the top 10% of women. 10/10 means top 1% basically. 1/10 means she's in the bottom 10% of women. I get the sense that people can tell when a person is wandering around nervously with nothing to do. I definitely buy the chart as it relates to the average woman -- as goes their looks, so goes their power in the sexual dynamic. I definitely don't buy the male valuation though. TRP is for people who missed out on stuff in high school, college, and even post-college. Missed out on the reality of women and life. Statistically, people are having less sex now more than ever, for the record. But I get what you mean, my point is that (and again this is evidence of TRP in action in her books) that most stories have literally one man for the woman. Definitely my problem man. Like so many of my friends are fiends, and I WISH I had their libido and their drive to get laid. Obviously a meth-head will be a modern-day mozart when it comes to creativity to get their hands on crystal meth -- the same with sex addicts getting their hands on pussy. Like it's not even the difficulty of masturbation vs real sex, because it's not like I jerk off because I NEED to or I will literally go insane and rape a girl or something. I did it because it's a cheap…

Totally agree with your sentiment. I find that's a great way to qualify women, is showing them dry/dirty/high brow sense of humor and seeing how they react. If they don't get it I belittle them for being dumb, and if they do it's just a win-win-win.

It's all about mindset, you need to act less logically and more irrationally and...irrationally... it works better than thinking through the expected value of actions. It's fuckin weird.

What do you mean by wise-ore, are you saying it's a good post or sarcasm?

The past is irrelevant, it is no predictor of the future. Always just move forward, the future is the only thing that matters. The past is literally as nonexistant as oblivion.

Dude that commenter is so wrong. Women are absolutely an ends in life, not a means to success. Like that's something I expect loser dudes who don't pull chicks to say, "oh I am successful in other areas who cares about women." I totally agree with your sentiment, in that courting and seducing attractive women should be as core to your being as keeping in shape. There was a great post on TRP that was like, "you need to say to yourself 'I'm going to stay in shape until I die.'" and seducing women …

You're wrong though, your selection of mate is of incredible importance in your work and social life. Walking into a room with a gorgeous babe is different than walking in with some average looking girl. Like on an evolutionary level people gravitate towards the dudes who pull the best women. I think it's actually very important, at least to get to the level where you can lock down an attractive woman for a long-term relationship, or marriage. Like I work in finance in NYC and the guys who come …

She said she didn't know how to put it on, and was afraid of doing it wrong. Chick is 19, I'm 24... just to give you context lmao. /u/Locupleto The update is I met up with her on Saturday and we smashed twice. Just practiced beforehand putting on the condom, so when it came to put it on it was quick and easy. Second time was even easier cause I got over the hump.
/r/seduction15/01/17 11:31 PM
1

Hmm I will try that, but I fear it was just a matter of in the moment idiosyncrasy, in other words just how it played out it made for an awkward moment during the foreplay (getting the condom out and open) and then it killed it for me. So yes, I should have practiced I was pretty dumb not to in fact. Do you mean ejaculate into the condom, or just practice maintaining an erection while getting the condom on?
/r/askTRP13/01/17 11:36 PM
1

Agreed. I definitely cut down on it. I'm tellin you though I was definitely hard during the entire interaction up to whipping the condom out for insertion. So it's not like I couldn't get it up while with her, it was just in that moment I froze, metaphorically and kind of literally. But in general I totally agree.
/r/seduction13/01/17 11:35 PM

Hell yeah

Well I plan on living long enough to live forever 8). And I'm not upset about it I know this shit happens, I'm 24 it's not like I'm 18. I'm just saying that as a one-time fix to at least show this chick I can fuck her, and from there improve on all the other things. I'll try the cocoa powder in water. I'm just stoically problem solving at this point, I told her lets meet for coffee tomorrow and I'm gonna try to smash then.
/r/askTRP13/01/17 09:58 PM

This is really helpful, thanks man. I think it really boils down to your first bullet point -- it's been years since I've gotten laid and I was sporting an erection the entire time leading up, and while giving eating her out and fingering her. So it was really just once the break in the action occurred, and we paused and I was putting on my condom that my head space broke down, I was fumbling with the condom and got nervous and by the time I got it over my dick it was half it's size lmfao. I was…

1

Yeah I'm thinking kind of like while I'm leaning on the bed and she's on it, and I can put it on while touching/kissing her. I think part of it was the break in action which just made me lose track of the moment
/r/askTRP13/01/17 08:02 PM
1

Yeah that's what it seems to me. It's been years since I've had sex so I shouldn't be too surprised

Lol I thought about that as a solution... wouldn't it be mad awkward though as we're unrobing each other for her to see it on me? Lmao I'm laughing because I'm picturing her surprise but like I said the thought definitely crossed my mind.

Wasn't even a .gif man. Anyway, I think this is a good way to handle rejection from the perspective that "you can't win em all". But the wrong takeaway is to think they women have all the power, because 1. they definitely don't and 2. believing that will kill your game intrinsically. I like what /u/IwriteForGroupies said in response your stuff lol
/r/seduction09/01/17 04:28 PM
3

How would you contrast this with making her jump through hoops for you and impress you? It seems like by rambling you're trying to impress her, thus coming off as desperate and overly investing in her. I want her to have to impress me, not the other way around
/r/seduction04/01/17 03:37 PM
3

I find this pretty tough as well -- I think it's all about how you approach one of the girls while not shutting her off from the rest of her friends. So the mid-point between what you're saying. But I'm more interested in people's tips because it's usually a struggle and usually all the attractive women are grouped with other attractive women so you won't find many pretty girls alone

I mean from a seduction perspective, isn't this a great thing? Like it's just one of the least-frictional way to meet women, so having that atmosphere means it's easier to go up and say hi to a cute girl.

Wtf is that personality test cube shit. I wanna stay far away from that BS it doesn't help me improve on actually generating genuine small talk.

He's not saying start chain-smoking cigarettes, he's saying that knowledge of your future non-existence should drive and motivate you to achieve and experience everything you possible can while you still are around. Even 100-200 years of existence is nothing on the cosmic scale.
/r/seduction15/12/16 07:18 PM
1

Ahhh see I feel like saying you're gonna/want to kiss her kind of ruins it. Even for me, like even if it worked I wouldn't like it. Which is why it's harder because you just have to feel it in the moment you can't talk about the kiss.
/r/seduction13/12/16 05:21 PM

That's surprisingly not a bad idea...

This is gold, where'd you come up with this man?
/r/seduction10/12/16 08:49 PM

Definitely used to suffer from over-agreeability -- getting better on stirring up some conflict and making things interesting. I also feel like I come across to argumentative sometimes too, hence my over-reaction the other way
/r/seduction10/12/16 05:59 PM
3

That's not what I meant, it's more like what constitutes a personality. I'm good at making small talk but I guess it's just hard for me to put a definition on "opening up" to people, IE showing them your personality? Because I don't know where that fine line is?
/r/seduction10/12/16 05:11 PM
9

How does one do this lul
/r/seduction10/12/16 04:26 PM

That's the exact wrong mindset though bro, you need to learn to do it naturally and have your brain constantly scanning for conversation pieces. Having canned openings doesn't help anyone
/r/seduction08/12/16 05:46 PM

DUDE check my comment above. totally agree. This is just way too much a fearfulness of rejection.

I think you're being way too conservative (in the context of risk, not politics obviously) with the general approach. if you're at a bar/nightclub/frat house, girls are drinking and absolutely dying to meet guys. Like literally, check a field report I submitted (that no one commented on sadly lol) about one of my visits back to my alma mater. I felt like a stud and chatted up 10+ hotties in a night, all because I was very straightforward and confident and all that. College is the only time in yo…

Completely depends on if she noticed you noticing her (which is a great opening line, btw) if you could feel tension that you both noticed each other, especially if you were checking her out and she caught you and you looked away, then that's bad. But yeah just find an appropriate moment and comment on something in your vicinity, usually the best bet to strike up a conversation
/r/seduction07/11/16 08:06 PM
3

It's too late at this point -- she obviously saw you and noticed you were too shy to say hello. I don't know how likely it is to recover from that. And I'm only saying this out of experience, because I've been in exactly your situation and trying to talk to her after having too many opportunities is actually super awkward. And even if it's not she knows you were too scared to say something the 5 times before when you had an opportunity. But, it's always worth a try, even if just for the experien…

I'm wondering about the part of making it your idea and not hers to get sexual -- it seems like a lot of what I read wants to take the opposite approach and make the escalation her idea by kind of putting these ideas in her head, and then slowly letting her realize/get convinced that she wants to sleep with you as opposed to you asking her for permission. You seem to prefer having everything be your idea, and I get your logic -- she doesn't want to have the onus of initiating sex be on her, so i…
