i agree man. Coming here used to encourage me to hit the gym and read a book... now most of the time it just makes me angry at women instead of happy about improving myself.

this is actually pretty funny. they seem to understand the dynamics or marriage and made a joke video about it. i thoroughly enjoyed this.

I don't get it. Aren't these radical feminists just attacked magazines for appealing to women? Women are clearly the people that are interested in these articles and I assume that the writers have learned what the best way to market their articles are with those titles. So are the feminists attacking women for being interested in dumb shit or are they attacking writers for being intelligent? I just don't get it.

I really have not put that much thought into it. I only have my mom to go off of, and she would deserve some sort of compensation if her and my father ever broke up (which would never happen). But the 50-50 rule just seems like the simplest way to do things, not the fairest.

Maybe so. It is a complicated issue. Like most things that involve a large entity trying to set a single rule slash law to govern many, there will be instances that are unfair.

I think on paper thats an awesome idea. But i guess most men go into marriage with love and shit on their minds instead of thinking that at some point in the future their significant other will fuck them over
/r/TheRedPill05/05/14 03:12 AM
1

I agree with most of what you said. However, I do not think that you can really measure the housekeeping and childcare costs on paper. Not only is there the lost opportunity cost in the woman's job... but also the man is able to invest more time in to his job because the woman is taking care of the home and kids.
/r/TheRedPill05/05/14 03:11 AM

I understand what you are saying, but we are talking at cross purposes. Your example is of a shitty woman with few redeemable qualities who is not doing anything to further her family's lives. My example was talking about a more exemplary wife.

I am arguing that they indirectly do earn the money. They are doing work so that the men can earn more money.

It sounds like you are nitpicking my argument. But to respond to you, I believe that it is only things that are gained during a marriage that are able to be split. This is strictly conjecture, I do not know for sure.
/r/TheRedPill04/05/14 11:36 PM

I don't agree with what I believe your argument is. If you are married, you are working together to succeed. In your mind it seems like each person should still be looking out for their best interest at the cost of the combined good. Choosing to be a stay-at-home mom is for the greater good of the family, just like how working a job is for the greater good of the family. It just so happens that one has a monetary gain and the other doesn't.
/r/TheRedPill04/05/14 11:34 PM

I think this is a bit sensational. I think the reason that women get half when they are stay at home moms and such is because they actually do earn that money. I had four brothers growing up and my mom stayed home while my dad worked. By staying home, my mom enabled my dad to focus on his career and make more money. If she was not in the picture, he could not have done that. So women are indirectly earning the money that their husbands are making. On top of that, by becoming a stay-at-home mom, …

This sucks for science because it might mean that many results will have to be thrown out which is just setback for humanity. However, at least this is something that shows that men and women are different and that animals react to them differently. Human Beings are animals, therefore men and women react differently to men. At least its one piece of evidence against some feminist bullshit.

you can always frame a womens issue as a mans issue. The "Patriarchy" makes women out to be weaker so they are not tried as seriously for domestic crimes; therefore you can argue for stricter sentences against women. You can frame the stupid final project any way that makes you want to actually write the letter.

Perfect list. "Youre such an asshole" is the number one indicator of interest in my life. When girls say that with those little smirks on their faces, I just know that they are into me. And the "I cant believe you just said that!" with a slap on the arm... you just know youre in. Its fucking crazy that girls literally say the exact opposite of how they feel. But when you learn the patterns life it more fun.

I believe that stereotyping is an important evolutionary trait. There are 7 billion people on this planet, it is impossible to converse with all of them... therefore you pick up ink links from Person A and when you come in contact with a Person B who happens to look like Person A, you automatically equate the two. The brain looks for simple solutions to complex problems and this is one of the easiest. Men are perceived as better leaders. Why? Because 90% of the best leaders have been men. Is tha…

if a girl is unconscious, she can not consent to sex and 99.9% of men would not have sex with her. However, in many states (mine included) rape is defined as penal into vaginal sex. In my state having an erection is considered giving consent. But, where the rape conversation has gone too far is if you have one drink then you can say you were raped and it can be backed up by the law. This is outlandish and not only hurts REAL rape victims, but has the potential to injure mens' reputations and liv…

If you really examine it, I doubt 'emotional' is the right way to put it. Men have large amounts of testosterone, women have large amounts of estrogen. These hormones influence the bodies differently. While I doubt you will read a study (I barely skim academic articles for things I'm interested in) here is a video series of a man investigating the scientific claims of feminists: http://www.reddit.com/r/TheRedPill/comments/1vuho8/the_documentary_that_made_scandinavians_cut_all/ I hope you find th…

i remember there being comments on that thread, which I agree with, that that is not a fair thing to cite. He is a comedian and was setting up the joke in a certain way so that people would give him the answer he wanted. People generally say that they think the comedian wants to hear during a show in order to get the best possible performance

you really think so? What if this bitch was a religious freak and wouldn't have an abortion. Then she resents the kid shes raising cause she didnt want the kid in the first place and feels betrayed by the dude that got her pregnant. You think that kid is gonna grow up well without a father and with a mother that resents him? Situations like these should be avoided. 18 months seems reasonable for trying to exert your undue influence on other humans that severely.

yeah, not matter how extreme... if a movement is only looking out for certain people based on sex, race, etc... then it should be called out for its shit. I always call feminism socially accepted bigotry.

agreed brother. But I believe that it is human nature to fight for yourself (or your group) and to constantly see the unfairness and so-called "privilege" in other peoples groups without recognizing them in your own. I think any group (black power, feminism, mras, white purities or whatever the fuck white group there is) that is fighting for one sect is bullshit and should be called out for being self-centered

i never get the quote that people throw out all the time that boys are taught that women are not people and that they are just their for our pleasure and entertainment? I literally have no clue where this idea comes from and it blows my mind how so many people say that.

i probably joined trp like 6-8 months ago... maybe? and I'm pretty sure it was at 20k subscribers. I used to read a lot more of the things posted back then. However, now there are a bunch of new people trying to work out their own emotions and their future. This generally turns into a circlejerk about posting mens rights shit. Its a part of the process of "taking the pill" i guess and this should be a place where men can vent and shit. Thats my take on the issue. But I definitely agree with you …

fuck politics; this guy is a scum for getting someone pregnant without their consent. If he is wearing a condom every time they have sex, she should at least feel mostly secure she will not get pregnant. We freak out about articles where the woman sperm jacks men and gets pregnant by it (the cum in the mouth girl comes to mind), and rightfully so. Taking steps to prevent contraception from working should not be tolerated. This should be the same for men and women, just because women are more lik…

you apologize too much for just sharing your opinion. Getting a new and different viewpoint is always a good thing because it keeps me grounded, thinking, and questioning. I can see where your theory comes from, but I think you made a couple of logical jumps that I do not agree with. First of all, I have a great relationship with my mother so that theory can be thrown out the window in regard to myself. However, I did go through a bit of a slump when my girlfriend broke up with me about two year…

It is morally reprehensible to cheat on someone. If a girl cheated on me, it would give me clues into the character of that girl. However, you can not look at the event of cheating in a vacuum. The girl cheated because I was not providing her with something that the other man was.
/r/TheRedPill10/12/13 06:04 PM

If a girl cheated on me, it would mean that she found someone else more attractive than I. That either means that I had become less of the man that she had become attracted to or that she discovered faults in me that she did not like. People, especially women in terms of men, will go after someone better if they can get it. If a girl cheated on me its because she found something better than myself. Emotionally, i would be angry at her for 'betraying' me... but logically it makes sense.

This belongs in r/mensrights or at least should be tagged with an MRA.. nothing really blue pill about it. Also, why is this the top voted thing on my front page? I come here to read redpill knowledge and anecdotes in order to cultivate those traits in myself, not to circlejerk about how men have it soooo rough. Reading things like this is a waste of energy and time. You feel emotions, most likely anger or resentment towards this flawed system, which is a complete waste of energy. If any of you …

Thanks for this info. However, as important as learning said information is, it won't help me much if I do not know where or how to get a mentor. I'm a senior in college, so I guess I can look in my major department for someone? Do you know of any meet-up type places or environments where mentors/mentees find each other? Any more information would be much appreciated, you seem well versed.

While I think we would all agree that feminism has been eroding the minds of our young men, what people say and think are sometimes entirely different things. I would not share my redpill thinkings on camera. People know what others want to hear and most of the time they will let them know so as not to attract negativity. Secondarily, the maker of the video would most likely be looking for certain answers and would do editing. Don't buy into media/feminism bullshit.

I enjoy it in certain situations. I know guys and girls alike that listen to it while lying in bed and shit which makes no sense to me... but I understand the appeal. I'm more of a rap guy so I can't really stand the whole no lyrics thing. Give it a listen and see if you like it, if you do then listen to it... if you don't then don't listen to it... I, like BloodRose, thought you sounded like a bit of a pussy with your first text. However, your edit cleared up most of those thoughts This is a cool post, but a little misleading. You already had sex with this girl... gaming after sex is much different than beforehand. I was hoping this would be an example of how you said no to a girl wanting to hangout or something and that made her want to see you even more. Nonetheless, thanks for the example.

I definitely think you can be friends with a girl. However, I can usually not handle more than one or two. I have one female friend right now and I do not think I would be able to handle anymore. I tried being friends with another girl this year but just ended up sleeping with her. However, I definitely enjoy my one female friend, it gives me the ability to hangout with a girl and not have to game. One negative is that I am constantly dealing with her emotional shit.
