You seem like a guys who's on his shit. When I was working a job that left me incredibly tired, and less fit than you, I turned to online dating. It didn't replace me going out and meeting people, but damn it got me quality dates quick. I know that wasn't specifically what you were asking about, but it helped keep me out of a rut. As far as polarizing yourself. Find hobbies you enjoy, participate in competitive sports if possible (tennis, golf, etc.) it will allow you to meet more people, go out …

Regardless of whether you are correct or not; your logic is flawed. I was simply pointing that out by using your logic. Stop being so angry all the time, an maybe you'll get more matches :p

There really is no perfect way to do tinder, and although I do not agree with your points here, the fact that these are the two main differences we have must mean we are both on the right track.

As did I, but I wanted to follow the brand. I reformatted a bit pretty quickly, but it still looks cluttered to me. Any suggestions?

Eh, Ill keep working on it. It was in an old comment that some people asked about, so I expanded and threw it up for criticism. I do need to reformat the guide, but fwiw tinder as a brand is spelled with a lowercase t.

Oh man, my current main FWB is probably a 7, and her tinder photos don't do her justice. I have watched her just swipe, swipe, swipe, and only one single time didn't have an instant match. Tinder is so much different for women, it is absolutely unbelievable.

By pointing directly at a single date and time, it makes her decide whether or not that works. Every time I have done this, it ends up being almost exactly the same. It works out, gives her a say, but allows you to not come off as too available. Either of these options will work if she is really into you, but if she is on the fringe, best play your cards right. This is the exact exchange with my most recent tinder date, this past weekend... Me: "Let's go grab a drink this weekend, how about Frid…

Excellent point! It depends on what you want, and the girl. Until recently, I have spend all of my teens and early twenties in long term relationships. I am not looking for that at all anymore. I prefer never mentioning the word date, using pet names, anything like that because I am simply looking for friends to hang out with regularly and have sex with regularly as well. It has worked out pretty well over the past 8 months or so. I date smart girls, they know exactly what is going on when I inv…

My model works for many of my friends as well as myself. It is a numbers game, why not work on creating many new intros rather than using the same one or two over and over? Regarding texting? Yes, you really should. Psychologically you become a lot less of a intimidating after you start communicating away from a seedy sex app.

I don't have any shirtless pics and have had over 800 matches. Your argument is null.

I say no... here's why. Tinder is used quite often by guys with girlfriends that they are trying to cheat on. It works very well in that position. It puts the thought in their mind that you may have a girlfriend, may be talking to a ton of other girls, stuff like that. Does not up your chances any. I have had it with girls and without, and I have gotten more matches without, and never once got asked if I had a gf. Plus, your first picture should only be of you, that way she knows exactly who you…

I can't say that I agree with that at all. It isn't making her invest, it is putting the ball in her court and losing control of the conversation. edit: but if she is into you, it will work either way.

Added: "Whatever you do, set up the date as quickly as possible! Some guys here will say try not to have any real conversation with them before going out, but as I enjoy a conversation companion, I tend to talk to them for a while and see if she will contribute at all." I tend to talk a bit more. I am very average as far as looks go, so allowing my personality to shine a bit more has created much more success for me personally.

Then put up a shirtless picture. No one will stop you, and it won't make or break you. I have considered removing this point as it is very debatable and just not worth the argument anymore. I am using the information I have gathered from women that use tinder regularly. The guide is in no way perfect, but writing this out and sharing my experiences has helped many of my friends do better with their online game. Not being of the physique that warrants a shirtless picture, I just go by what I have…

I realize that, and I have done the best with the limited casual resources I had available to me. I am using the information I have gathered as well as my experiences, and have synthesized it into something cohesive enough to help out quite a few newcomers to tinder.

Thanks! I completely forgot about that. Some people may have other theories... but I say absolutely not! I personally find it needy and maybe even creepy. Take a look at it if you want, make sure she is legit, but I would say not add her until you have already been on a date.

Fuck you, you aren't boring. Read english books, watch videos in english, listen to english music, and especially listen/watch english speaking comedians! Instead of asking questions, make statements. You will get the hang of it man, just keep trying.

I have a buddy that has a facebook with 0 friends, and his tinder profile works just fine. It sounds like something may be buggy with your device's facebook API? I honestly have no idea man, that sucks. Just make the one photo you get as good as possible then.

I agree that it ideally needs to be more in depth. But there has been so much written on texting and messaging game already, and I know I couldn't do it any better. Plus, I don't want guys thinking there is a secret formula to get laid from tinder. Forcing them to rely on their own conversation skills and wit will make them better in the long run both online and in person.

My goal going into every match is a FWB situation. I approach it as such. Flirty, fun, but not a word about dating, relationships, etc. Use their name instead of babe, love, honey, etc.

Create a new facebook that is completely private with just the pictures you want on there. Easy Peasy. Yea, I don't know why that is happening, try reporting a bug, not sure what you can do there. I strongly suggest using the full 6 pictures.

Tinder is all about hook ups - plain and simple. It used to be. Unfortunately, now that every sorority girl and her older sisters in the United states is on tinder, the intended usage is getting quite distorted. When I first started on tinder, it was 5 exchanges to texting, to banging in less than 48 hours on average. Now, although there is still some of that, we are getting a lot more sexually conservative women on tinder. Not a bad thing necessarily, but it does change the game a bit. Use your…

Short and sweet You are absolutely right here, do you think my examples in this guide convey that well enough? Engage early That is my findings as well. As long as I am not misspelling, saying stupid shit, etc, I get about a 75% response rate. Get Sassy That should go without saying, do you think I need to mention polarization directly in the guide? Avoid canned openers I touched on this briefly in the guide, do you think it needs more explanation? Never thought about the looking up where she tr…

Thanks for the input! I have been back and forth with redditors about the shirtless thing. My suggestion comes from what I have gathered between female friends, acquaintances, and hookups that use tinder. An overwhelming majority (of about 100) of the women I have talked in depth about tinder say a shirtless pic on tinder is too tryhard. Maybe I go for a certain type of woman, and this is inaccurate, but that is what I have gathered from talking and watching them use tinder. I also have never ha…

I show my interest by flirting and using perceived scarcity on tinder. I am looking for someone to hang out and get down with quickly and casually. In my experience, using the term 'date' has scared these women off more often than not. I have a lot more success pulling them in to getting drinks, or something specific rather than the date thing. Feels a bit okCupid, long term dating site to me. But this guide is just my experiences and what I have pulled from women I know. Date may work just fine…

Thanks man. I am here off and on, sometimes it is useful, sometimes it isn't. I just wanted to put a little something together to help the guys struggling with tinder, as it is what I know most about. I highly suggest giving it a try if it is popular in your area.

Good on you then, man. I'm still working on some of those myself haha. I was in a similar position (relationship wise) a couple years ago. Exploring my sexual interests helped me out immensely. Gave me a new perspective on what sex and relationships could be. Warning, it may make you not want to get back with her. That's up to you. A couple hobbies I enjoy: brewing beer/making wine and studying the science behind it. I love beer, and the science is fascinating to me so that is what I'm doing. I …

Get a job, get your workout and eating game in order, control your drinking if that is a problem, go out and have fun with other women (it will help you in the long run, promise.) Get off reddit and do the things you know you need to do.

Thanks! It is one of the most helpful things I have ever read. I knew most of the lessons already, thanks to a dad that taught me how to deal in business, but How to Win Friends and Influence People is a fantastic reminder. Hopefully OP heeds that advice, if any in this thread.

The only things I have seriously read and taken much away from is: Mark Manson's: Models, Dale Carnegie: How to Win Friends and Influence People, Meditations: Marcus Aurelius, and the sidebar stuff of /r/seduction. It has worked well for me

Thanks, that is what I needed to hear. I just felt like I was missing something major. I used to let myself become what people wanted too easily (ie falling into a relationship.) But I have been super fucking careful this time around. Using dude instead of baby, friend words.
