What counts as infidelity? Please leave before you get your heart broken. This guy is lying to your face and telling you what you want to hear in order to keep you. He wants a good girl in his life but also wants to have his good-time girls on the side. You're young -trust some of the older people giving you advice here. Don't waste your precious time on someone who is ultimately going to disappoint you. | /r/RedPillWomen | 23/10/17 07:42 PM
I need help dissuading my friend's opinionsI guess I'm surrounded by bitches then, haha!! Everything you're saying is right - I wish I could find some true friends and goodness knows I've tried, I'm just not sure what else to do at this point. Maybe there are a few people in my life that I could open up to, but I've been burned enough to where I mostly just keep my guard up. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/05/17 01:11 AM
I need help dissuading my friend's opinionsTrue. But what can we do? Even with my best friend - I've made the mistake of venting to her before, only to have her commit my words to memory and use them like a weapon later. I'm convinced that most people, especially women, don't really want true happiness for each other. That's why girls are so ready to say "Dump his ass!" to their friends, even when most of the relationship is great. Misery loves company. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/05/17 12:55 AM
I need help dissuading my friend's opinionsThis!! I will discuss the positives about my relationship with my friends, but I have learned not to divulge the negative or stressful parts. No relationship is perfect of course, but for some reason many women will use that information to dissuade their friends and make them think their relationship isn't good enough. It's toxic. It's kind of sad though, because it would be nice to have thoughtful discussions about the tough parts of relationships. | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/05/17 10:01 PM
I have really screwed up with my marriage and would love some advice from you ladiesI am so sorry you are going through these issues - it's a tough thing, for sure. When it comes down to it, I think you are definitely going to need to do some self reflection and improvement. Marriage therapy could certainly help, but I agree with the previous poster that you should work on therapy for yourself alone. You mentioned that you have anger issues and are also having some issues with dependency - work on those first so that you can become a more attractive partner to your husband. | 1 | Needing advice on how to handle SO's mom...Oh man. That's tough. Luckily for me, my SO's mom stays out of our relationship for the most part. Her toxic behavior is directed solely at him (and her other kids) and she never really says anything about me. From all of the advice I've gotten on this thread, I think it's best to stay quiet and just let our SOs handle it. It can be hard sometimes, but I guess it's for the best! | /r/RedPillWomen | 06/08/15 06:17 AM
Needing advice on how to handle SO's mom...Sooooo you're saying there's hope?! Haha. Truthfully, my SO knows that her behavior is toxic. He has said so himself many times, but he always falls into this pattern of letting her treat him like shit and not saying anything about it. It's probably complicated for him...but UGH. | /r/RedPillWomen | 06/08/15 06:15 AM
Needing advice on how to handle SO's mom...Phew. Thank you. I needed that. I was already Googling "toxic moms" and having to stop myself from showing him and saying "Look! You're great! She's evil!!" Agggghh. It's hard, but I'll take your advice and just be there, just keep trying to build him up. It just slays me because my parents are the complete and total opposite, and I so wish he had that. Sigh. | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/07/15 11:33 PM
Field Report! Consistently being Present in the mornings.Omg, I LOVE this!!! Right now, my SO is working and I am not. He moves around a lot for contract positions, and after being apart for nearly a year, I decided to move with him. Like your SO, he gets up around 6 and works crazy hours each week. Like you, I get up while he is in the shower. I make him coffee and pack him a bag with water, fruit, English muffins, and other breakfast stuff. I gather up his things for work and hand them to him (with a kiss!) as he heads out. I absolutely love being h… | /r/RedPillWomen | 11/06/15 02:57 PM
How did you learn to trust? This is such a good question!! Trust is really hard to come by. I spent SO long being completely untrusting, and I know that was really smothering my SO. Personally, I think it's a slow process. You just have to be aware of when those feelings of mistrust/jealousy are rising up in you, and try to logically analyze the situation. I still do that to this day. This helps me de-escalate those negative feelings and get back to a positive place fairly quickly. Jealousy and mistrust are total relations… | /r/RedPillWomen | 11/06/15 02:47 PM
I'm trying to take too much control.I've been in your situation before. As far as being uncomfortable in your role as the breadwinner, I'd say just try to keep the discomfort to yourself. He may seem calm in the outside, but I'm sure he feels just as hurt and uncomfortable as you do. When my SO and I went through this, he suffered from a severe lack of confidence. Just be there for him and try to keep his confidence levels up. Like you said, he WILL find something else, and things will get so much better! :) All the best to you! | /r/RedPillWomen | 11/06/15 02:43 PM
Boyfriend has a stressful new job. How can I help? What do I say?Honestly, just be encouraging and just be THERE for him. I know that sounds so simplistic, but think about it this way: he is a full-grown man. He has taken on this new responsibility and he is fully capable of it. You don't need to coddle him or say anything trite. My SO has a really stressful job and works almost 70 hours a week. I just try to do little things to ease the stress - cooking meals, keeping our place clean, back massages, anything to take his mind off the day. I think it really he… | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/05/15 05:28 PM
What are ways you show your love for him? With my SO, it's the little things! Some random examples... 1.) Spontaneous back massages. Oh my, does he love back massages. He asks for them frequently, but I try to beat him to the punch - initiate before he even has a chance to ask. 2.) Throwing his towel in the dryer while he's in the shower so he has a nice hot towel when he gets out! I stole this trick from him, actually! 3.) Touching and telling him how sexy he is!! Touch the abs, touch the butt, touch touch touch... And others of course… | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/05/15 10:52 PM
On attracting a guy who is "not looking for a relationship"I'll be honest - I stopped reading pretty quickly. If he says he is "not interested in a relationship" with you, he 100% means it. He will have casual sex with you, but will not commit. It would be silly to expect it to go any further than that. Please please pleaseeeee do not end up like many women who fall into this type of arrangement. It can go on for YEARS if you let yourself get sucked into it. | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/05/15 10:45 PM
