Hi! Thanks for your comment. I can definitely understand your argument, and certainly do not disagree with it. One of the reasons why I left it out is that I don't believe every time you have this sort of conversation it's necessarily about wanting to see other people, and sometimes it's more along the lines of simply not wanting to go exclusive, yet. I can edit the article and add this in for sure. Being completely upfront about it is never the wrong move, either.

Totally. One of the easiest ways to have more interesting conversations is to become a more interesting person. Coffee shops just make the opener easy, such as if they're reading a book you can comment on that, and then from there it's up to you to be able to move the conversation forward to something interesting. Imagine you're standing in line at Starbucks, you could open with something casual like asking what their favorite drink is. Just make sure when you're opening in casual environments l…

It's becomes creepy if you develop a rep for approaching a lot of girls, because it can show that you're desperate to get laid.

Definitely leave every girl better than you found them. This is key on campus. Also, if you're looking to experiment with different techniques, I recommend doing that type of experimentation OFF campus, and instead use your best stuff on campus. On campus it's also a lot easier to meet people without doing cold approaching from a "walk up to her" angle. Whenever I hang out on campus I focus more on sitting next to hot girls at the library or coffee shop, which creates easy opportunities to open …

I like what Nozzle33 said. Stop looking for signs and focus on the conversation. Do you feel like you're looking for signs for validation that she's into you? Or because you're a confident guy and simply struggle to pick up on the social cues of attraction? If it's the former, focus on continuing to have positive interactions with women while working on your own self-esteem and confidence, because ultimately receiving validation from others that you're "good enough" is honestly setting yourself …

I've been in this position many times and have done both. From my experience, I would recommend against sleeping with her while she has a boyfriend because the potential backlash can make the situation much more complicated and not worth it simply for sex. Not only can sleeping with her while she has a boyfriend make you feel like shit (later down the road, not initially), but if she has any regrets (which can easily occur because she's cheating) it will always come back to you and end up affect…

No problem to send the text and then wait 2-3 days to hit her up again. Also, if you text her and she doesn't respond don't trip, it's all good. :)

Cool post. Simple and effective. One of the best pieces of advice I received that helped me with this problem is: "If you want to have more interesting conversations, become a more interesting person." Too many people who struggle with running out of things to say have no lifestyle. Do more fun things, create a bucket list, put yourself in situations where you are able to create fun and exciting stories, it'll help more than anything and isn't that hard to do.

Do it! Make sure you update us on a daily basis because it will help you out a lot. Also, don't worry about updating with a huge wall of text unless you want to, just short updates are fine! You won't REGRET doing this. :)

What do you mean by it's harder to do? My recommendation: Write down a bucket list. Go for 15-25 items. Don't judge the answers just get them down. Then start crossing them off as you can. Or, just go try a salsa class. The benefit of salsa is great: It's male-female, it's rude for girls to say no if you ask them to dance, you get to practice skills like leading, enthusiasm, good energy, and kino.

If you want to have more interesting conversations, become a more interesting person. Go out and experience things. Go skydiving, go travel, go on road trips, go rock climbing, check out a yoga class, learn to cook, try salsa, go bungee jumping, white water rafting, hiking, cliff jumping, etc.

If you want to have more interesting conversations, become a more interesting person. Start having new experiences. Go bungee jumping. Do a yoga class. Go on a random road trip. Go sky diving, white water-rafting, camping. Write out a bucket list and start crossing things off. Conversation becomes much easier when you actually do things in your life. At least that's what's worked for me.

I've heard a lot of research that suggests the average length of actual intercourse is 10 minutes. So that should ease people a bit, I know it did for me. Now, a few tips that have helped me a lot: 1. BREATHE 2. Go slower. I always thought going as hard as possible was how she'd enjoy it the most, but my current girlfriend definitely likes it slower and more consistent, and from the reading I've done, it makes sense why. Slower means they can feel it more, and it definitely helps you last longer…

The best tip I can give that I learned from Sex God Method is to be fully immersed. If you have trouble lasting the best tip is to actually focus on how it feels instead of focusing on being worried you're gonna blow. The reason is because the anxiety is what causes you to get off, not so much how it feels. It seems counterintuitive but it works! That and dirty talk. Man dirty talk works well. :)

In college you will tend to run into the same people more often, so I don't think you need to be in any early to close right away. Take a girl in class for example. You'll see her over and over again, so you can build that connection over time. You don't need to go in guns blazing. If you aren't actually going to school and just go to campus to approach then direct would be a solid approach although it really does come down to your own personal style and what's congruent to you. You could always…

Instead of thinking about it like night game, day game, bar, lounge, street, why don't we ever think about it like this: Question: What type of girl am I looking for? Do I want her to be athletic? What interests does she have? And then... Where would this type of girl hang out? If you were looking for a girl that was into physical fitness you wouldn't be looking for her in Mcdonalds, so if you're not looking for a girl that's into drinking and partying and drama, why would you look for her in th…

Great tips. I definitely think all 3 are key. Two resources that have helped me immensely in bedroom performance are: Urban Tantra by Barbara Carrellas. This book really helped me understand more about the spiritual side of sex and how to tap into it to make things much more profound. Sex God Method by Daniel Rose. Easily the most influential book in my sex life, Daniel talks about the DEVI model for performance: Dominance, Emotion, Variance and Immersion. This really helped me with lasting long…

Seduction isn't exclusive to "pick-up artists". Seduction is the act of seducing, and happens in many different areas, including on dates. Unless I'm mistaken, I'm positive a major aspect many of the guys who read seddit struggle with is simply how to flirt. Many of them fall into the 4 categories Matt talks about in the post. TD and Mystery have some good advice for sure, but I definitely don't think they are the only sources out there who know what's up. I'm not convinced TD or Mystery are exa…

Thanks for your comment. Yes I definitely agree asking how the date is going shows a lack of confidence. And plus, you shouldn't need to ask how the date is going. The date should be fun that you get wrapped up in it. Mr. Nervously Emotional is a guy who tends to do that (ask how the date is going) and it turns the girl away. Like Matt said in the post, "ask her how the dates going and you have sealed your fate my friend."

That's the caution I've always had being more involved in the whole "pick-up" scene. It's so easy to overdo concepts and become uncalibrated because of it. Just because you can get a laugh doesn't mean it's helping you get to where you want to be you know? There's a difference between her laughing with you and at you. Thanks for the comment. :)

I think Matt was trying to get across his point about: "if you took the best parts of all four of these dudes, and left out the negative aspects, you will be a veteran in the Art of Playful Teasing." But I definitely think he could have made the "what does work" more clear. We'll work on that for next time. Thanks for the feedback.

I would try to grab coffee after class instead after talking with them a few times. Make it casual. Then get their number after that. With girls in class it's less important to have their number right away because you get to see them all the time anyways, so it gives you the opportunity to get to know them more and build that connection before going through the process of exchanging numbers, since this can be awkward if you lack a connection. Take advantage of the fact that you get to see them e…

It really is! It's interesting how women are much more comfortable being vulnerable whereas men find it would make them "weak". I think as men we just haven't spent very much time being vulnerable so it's an intimidating concept for us to think about. Happy to hear you're on the same page! Hey! I totally agree. I think it's incredibly important. I was involved in PUA for a long time and I felt this topic wasn't touched on much. It's interesting because if you think about the goal of "PUA"... or at least, the original goal of most guys who get into it, it's to get a girlfriend and have a healthy long-term relationship with her. To have a healthy long-term relationship with a girl that they get to choose, not one they have to settle for. In order to do this, developing an ACTUAL con…

I agree with this for sure. I think there's huge value in actually being friends with girls, and not just viewing every girl as another opportunity to get laid. I think the difference between the friend zone being "good" and being "bad" is all about mentality and the mindset you have about it. I think a lot of things could improve if guys acted properly in the friend zone instead of panicking that the girl thinks they are a friend causing them to make a drastic move to try and win her. She alrea…

Hey man! Super stoked to hear about the night. Definitely a hard lesson I've learned wayyy tooo many times is to make sure if you're going out with a girl who's drinking you need to try and keep an eye on her alcohol level. I ran into this problem in August with my (now current girlfriend). We went out for drinks with friends and were having a good time. But I didn't monitor her alcohol levels and didn't help slow her down (ie: buying waters for her to drink, cranberry juice, not buying her anym…

This is definitely a legit concern. The way I deal with it is by sending her a text getting the playful vibe back and forth a bit, then sending her a text something along the lines of "you're a dork... i'm going to call you later, whens a good time?" If she's interested in the call you will have a specific time to call, and if she's busy and doesn't have time she will let you know - this way you avoid calling and not having her pickup. If she isn't interested in the call she might not respond, w…

That text is good just take the date proposal out for now. If you haven't talked for a week you need to rebuild the momentum you had again. It won't take long, just a few texts back and forth or a phone call. Now that you have things re-established it's easy to get her on another date. But definitely don't text her straight up asking for the date again right away. Get contact going again first.

I agree man. It's definitely a different vibe during the day vs. at night. The ironic part is that when girls are expecting to be approached their shields are higher, whereas when they aren't expecting it(ie: during the day), they have lowered shields and are much more receptive to being approached. Sure initially you might spook them briefly, but once they realize you are a cool guy who wanted to meet them they relax into conversation nicely. Great post. :)

haha! one of my favorites to re-engage a number that's gone stale is to send: "Happy Birthday!!!" It gets responses super well. It will either get: a) "It's not my birthday" in which case you can simply say: "it's for all of the ones i've missed" b) "OMG YOU REMEMBERED!!" in which case you just hit a slam dunk.

Yep the nickname is anchoring. It's typically going to be done during a playful exchange which anchors the good vibes of playfulness. :) It's a super money technique.

The rule I live by is to use emoticons instead of "lol" or "haha". A wink here and there can be great for gearing the conversation to take on a sexual playful vibe. The key is to avoid using "lol" and "haha", because they kill the tension in a text. Instead, use emoticons. :)

Nice! I do the same strategy a lot. The one thing I've noticed works really well (and this obviously doesn't apply to your example because you were able to be successful without it) is making sure you stay in touch here and there, just checking in every once in awhile. This way, when the break-up does happen, you aren't the guy that is messaging her out of the blue, and instead, the cool guy she's been talking to here and there for a while. I talked with my girlfriend about this and she said how…

Great set of easy to follow tips. One I didn't hear that I think works super well too is to give it a bit of time before you respond back. If she took 5 minutes, take ten. If she took 30, take an hour. If she took an hour, take a few. Just doing this alone will help guys out, especially those that tend to come across too strong too quick or needy.

The best way I've brought this up is to have a discussion about where the world is "socially", and bringing him to a point where he agrees - because it logically makes sense - that fundamental problems in our world occur because we lack understanding of our social relationships, and further, that this is not even a fault of ourselves as individuals: it's a fault of society as a whole.
