I hope this isn't the case as much as anyone but at some point one has to accept reality instead of just trying to wish it away. It's like getting mad at the sun for rising from the east and setting from the west

Race factors into it. The best is gonna be where your race isn't considered sub par

How do you not take it personally? How do you not become more and more depressed as the rejections pile up

Desperate Yes I think that's the point... If everyone had fulfilling dating lives nobody would need this stuff

Yes and no, the messy dating scene of today isn't directly attributable to porn. It's more so due to urbanization, breakdown of community and third spaces, the internet, greater gender equality, etc.

I haven't done too much approaching and have no "conversion" to speak of. I have similar concerns but I think cold approach may be more of a mental exercise and practice than anything else, it's about becoming being able to tolerate failure and rejection

Suprised how nobody has pointed this out, but attractive women (looks, personality, whatever) tend to have many suitors, meaning they are more likely to be in relationships than not. It's only natural. I've been in the same boat and it's frustrating. The fate of a man is just to keep searching until lucky

Try self-compassion. For me I've also struggled with self-esteem for a long time, but I've come to realize that there is a sense of "core shame" deep within me, meaning I don't feel like I'm worth much on a emotional level, which is why all the logic can only go so far, because emotions trump logic. Self-compassion is something I believe addresses the emotional side of things, it helps build up self-esteem and self-love emotionally, and everything else would be easier after that.

There's other paths than negative thoughts and positive thoughts. Also, if you think you have depressive tendencies (which I agree), you should be seeking professional help or mental health resources like videos made by therapists to deal with negative thoughts. No shame in that.

This sub is full of people who base their confidence exactly on how many girls checked them out. A better place to ask this question would be in a more general self help community, like r/healthygamergg, which I recommend.

Black and white men are the most popular in interracial dating. You're missing what I'm talking about. I'm not talking about you, a white man, can or can't approach a POC woman. I'm talking about as a non black or white man I need to face the reality of some people will reject my entire race when it comes to dating.

Why do you expect men to approach instead of doing it yourself? Do you think men have no feelings and just brush rejections off so they should do all the approaching?

I couldn't find it. Probably because I have an ebook version so the pages are different. In Chapter 4 though, he talks a lot about quickly differentiating those who are interested and those who are not. It doesn't seem like he advocates for ignoring rejection and keep pestering.

Hey bud, I relate to what you feel. This is tough. But also, while reality is not on our side, I do sense you have deeper issues of self-esteem and inadequacy. This is not to attack you, it's because I have these issues too so I also constantly think about how other people are better than me. It's called social comparison. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWs6GBwXnmw This one of the videos addressing social comparison and there's a lot of stuff out there like this and about self-esteem. I'm not attracted to overweight people either, but your attitude reeks of disrespect. You're lucky you get any attention at all.

It is easier for women. Men have lower standards than women in dating, so it's easier for men than women to be rejected. I'm not saying women have it easier in dating or in life, I'm just saying in initiating dating it's easier for women

I think your mindset still needs some work. First of all, not all women have casual sex all the time, it's just that the internet and people around you highlight those who do. Second, sounds like jealousy and envy are bigger problems here. I understand how you feel, because when I see other people who have sex easily, I feel crappy about myself too. But at the end of the day, we need to work on jealousy, on social comparison, and on having a solid self-esteem that doesn't depend on whether or no…

Now usually I hate this saying, but I think in your specific case, this saying applies: She's not yours, it's just your turn. So don't get too hung up about "owning" her, just enjoy it while you can.

Is it good being attractive? Yeah probably. But at the end of the day external things only get you so far. Imagine a disabled guy, he is going to be engrossed with where he is lacking, which is his disability. He looks at everyone without a disability, like you, and thinks "must be so good not being disabled, it would solve all my problems." But in reality, do you have no problems? Of course not. In the same vein, attractive people are not going to have no problems.

Does it happen? Yeah. How much does it happen? Do most women do this? These are unanswerable questions. You will only find anecdotes and personal experiences, and you won't be able to find a definite answer. But something I've come to realize is that, that doesn't matter at all. Humans have a tendency to generalize and oftentimes overgeneralize (e.g. stereotypes), but you should take note that, regardless of whether most women do this or only a few women do this, what you need to do doesn't chan…

From one quiet guy to another, don't force yourself to be the party person, it doesn't work, it's forced, and it's not you. Small scale conversation and interaction is where you thrive. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, you just need to be able to captivate one person's attention.
/r/seduction17/06/22 06:04 PM

It probably won't happen, but that's not the point of the post. Then don't put it in the post. If you want to talk about it, talk about it. Don't want to talk about it and then not talk about it.

/r/seduction11/06/22 05:16 AM

As a guy I agree with everything you said. I come here to learn techniques and I have to mentally filter out a lot of shit people say. Two things though: 1) women also hookup to feel valued. Kettle and pot here. 2) I agree with what a few people have said: women overwhelmingly don't need effort or technique in dating in the day and age, they have infinite choice.
