I agree backgrounds are more important for secondary pictures but they can be attention grabbing in the primary picture if cropped right. for example I've used pictures cropped to highlight my face but the background happens to be a famous landmark (niagara falls and rome colosseum) my face was still 75%+ of the picture but I live in an area where not a lot of people travel outside the US. I felt like those backgrounds set me a part a bit, or at least attracted girls who were also interested in …

I'd argue that backgrounds can be important / useful for conversations. An interesting background (while still showing your face) can lead to further looking at your profile

At every given junction in a set do the opposite of whatever your instinct says / what a typical response would be. Be the exception to the norm.

"Let's try again, dearest [name] I request an inquiry of your interest in courting me via electronic message at your earliest convince it is my wish that we can engage in banter of a tasteful nature" Second message: "may have mixed up gentleman and antiquated verbage, anyway how's your Thursday going" Shows that you don't take yourself to seriously and can laugh at yourself. Second right after message makes it seem like a stream of consciousness, more natural response rather than something you s…

I've always thought it was like they were using PUA techniques on dudes to get more dudes to subscribe to their teachings.

let it just flow like another part of the conversation. Don't react to it. Don't probe into it unless it goes with the flow of the conversation. Otherwise I just keep going like she told me any other thing about herself. I don't treat them any differently after either. The way I see it is if a girl doesn't say she has a boyfriend defensively in the first few minutes of conversation and rather saves that info for later, they're cooler in my book. If anything I've made a new friend who can be a go…

being fit / in shape helps in general. body building isn't necessary unless it helps build confidence Im 6 ft, 150, minimal muscle mass, minimal fat. Never felt the need or desire to put on muscle mass (Still active in other sports though). but its all how you hold yourself, good posture, confidence, happy to be in the moment that make the difference. congrats on the healthier life style though! glad you're seeing positive results from it.

any time you have a thought to say or are in a situation where you want to comment on somethign to someone - say it - say it now - say it without thinking. worse that happens is convo doesnt go anywhere. and you go back to your life

Girl doesn't have much of a personality and is more of a passive person. I've heard that the mother is controlling and was interfering with the case / witnesses (Calling them and tell them not to talk with the guy).

I know the people involved in the case personally. Everything in the article and case is accurate and regardless of if the encounter was rape the university really fucked up hard in the case.

recently graduated: College is a time of growth in every sense of the word. Girls are looking to grow to, they're looking to experience life just as much as you are in college. That means it is the easiest situation in your life to not only meet girls but also hook up them. No where else in your life will you be surrounded by so many people who are only within 4 years of your life - nowhere. and nowehere else in your life will you be able to talk to a girl so easily. First stop thinking about be…

I find it best to do the opposite of whatever my intuition response would be or what I think a typical guy's response would be. Its hard to think about this on the fly but once you get use to taking a step back and thinking before saying the first thing that comes to mind you'll have a better time Example from two weekends ago: (at a concert for a band I was vaguely familiar with) HB 7 approaches me and two other guys I was with: "You all haven't been singing along to a single word for any song!…

I've seen the dont jack off notion around here a lot. Does it really make that big of a positive difference? I've found that when i dont do it regularly i get too horny and it distracts my game and clarity.

take the overarching messages of the posts here for HS. Don't be afraid to loose the girl. too often in Hs I woud get hung up one one girl as my options were limited with the girls I had chances with. Just never get to wound up with one girl (unless trying to date). Talk to all the girls you can. be outgoing, invite them to events, maybe see if you can hang out with something as inocent as studying together or in a group. from there just get to know them, act interested. Idk now I'm drunkenly ra…

puas are all about doing what other guys don't do, trying to set yourself apart from the crowd and do something different, keep the girl interested. grabbing an ass accomplishes none of that.

I've found that the more important lesson from the various schools of thought it is a mentality. Reading the game you learn the mentality pick up artist have of not being afraid to lose the girl and basically just going out having fun and picking up girls in the process. The lines, gamits and bits are tools that could be used but don't have to be. Take the schools of advice as a mentality that needs to be embodied. Don't focus too much on a stepwise "method." Steps and methods are good to get st…

experience experience experience. I am/was similar. However with each step up in caliber of women that I end up with the more confidence I gain and the less "pedestal putting" I end up doing. Not to say go date as many girls as you can but the more you court girls, the more comfortable you'll be with ones that you have a bigger interest in. It still gets me every once in a while too though, I'll end up in a situation where I'll have no idea how I managed to get with such a girl but I look at it …

I'd just stay sarcastic and be like "woah you're right I better check myself and cool down, shit" or something to that effect. /u/evolve18's response would work as well though. honestly I would just go eat somewhere else, I wouldn't wanna wast time near that guy. Your better than that, you dont need to be there.

my go to sarcastic comeback is something along the lines of "shit, dude you're on to me, I'm just trying to pass as a straight/mildly retarded/not obese/ etc, you gotta promise not to tell anyone" the more saractic you emphases the "your on to me" the better it tends to work. If you are feeling ballsy say " I didn't know were an asshole when you feel insecure" or "are you always an asshole or just when your feel insecure" to say these though you have to remain as calm and level headed as possibl…

THIS! I literally just open with hi I'm carboard and wing it from there. Sometimes iI have a reason for approach like a feature I noticed or something that happened to them but otherwise it's just lets see where this goes. If its working don't add a plan, the more "natural" you are able to engage in conversation the farther it will go. Social interaction isn't as planned as this sub makes it out to seem. Its random, spontaneous, and exciting.

Depends on the situations. Some nights you can get a good conversation going and isolate with something about "hey lets go check out the dance floor" or "lets go to the porch for some air" mix in light touch too. Do it in a way that it is natural and touch places that are neutral, like their arm or shoulder. The easiest example I can think of is if you are joking about something they said you can place your hand on their shoulder as you lightly banter (for lack of a better word). I'm sorry its d…

exactly, I think it would work best if you linger just long enough to hear a reaction but keep moving a long as if it was nothing. I see it being used as your walking through a venue just casually tap a girl on her shoulder say tag your it and keep walking along (or jogging in this guys case). you can either turn back and say something or you can just keep moving along with the opportunity to come back later and open with something you're along the lines of their lack of tag playing skills.

I use to be the same way. I started trying to force myself to leave my hands by my sides. it works a little bit. most the time I settle on sort of holding my hands by my waste or putting one hand on something like a chair casually. Regardless keep them moving whether it is gesturing when you talk or resting on a girls shoulder briefly when you address her.

I've always thought it would be fun / funny while on a run to tag a girl as you're running / jogging and say "tag you're it" and see what happens. Would be best if they are also running I tend to do things because they're funny not because they're a good idea.

I spent last summer living in Germany and traveling around Europe. I found that most things that applied for PUAs in the states applied in Europe with a bit of tweaking. If you can get them talking about cultural differences of their country that can go a long way and allow you to neg lightly. Don't be generic though, the more specific things you can talk about noticing in terms of cultural differences the more engaged they'll be in the conversation. Don't be overly patriotic, Europeans tend thi…

The fact that you left her when you were tired is probably my favorite part of gaming (oddly). You clearly already won her over by why rush it. Delaying it makes it that much more exciting for her when she sees you again.

This exactly describes how I see the advice from this community. Yes, It made me better at meeting and seducing girls. It taught me how to be a bit different and alpha in situations. Most importantly, it taught me not to be afraid of loosing the girl. other than all that it's just pointers and tips. it is just the template.

I started reading the stuff around 19 (I had watched mysteries show when I was 16) (Im now almost 21) I use it as more of a general guide and mentality rather than a set of steps. Biggest thing I've taken away from all of this is to just show confidence, make your conversation interesting and different than things the girl ahs heard before and act like you're not afraid to loose the girl. There are a lot of nuances and tips in here that I do find useful but for the most part I just try and follo…

Perhaps sluttiness wasn't the correct word. I meant more culturally are things that I should be aware of over here in terms of sexual relationships. I know how things work in america in terms of escalating sexually with girls but I'm not sure if the same methods will work over here. I guess it shouldn't be that different though, girls are girls. Any good qualifiers come to mind that you think would work well for my situation?

Yes definitely, I am loving being a "foreign novelty here" I definitely try and sound very american. I am currently in germany and haven't had much trouble with introverts in bars. Most girls (and people in general) are happy to be using their english. Coming from america though, I feel that americans are more slutty compared to europeans (keep in mind im in college). How girls in europe just as receptive to getting with a guy they just met as american girls or is it not as common. I get the vib…

same thing happened to me last year. It sucks, just stop thinking about it. I know it sounds hard it took one of my friends saying "look either hook up with her again or stop talking about it" It made me realize I wasn't going to get with her again since she was back with her ex and I was stupid to think about it any more. It still bothers me from time to time but I quickly forget it and move on. and get a job

to comments about shirts I usually say something along the lines of "thanks its a conversation Peice" or if another item of clothing "thanks, I feel like there should be a pick up line somewhere with it but I don't know what" they're not much but its better than just thanks

I was skeptical about this advice at first. I read it late last night. Today, whenever I found myself thinking about a girl and over analyising I began just telling myself this phrase. It actually worked, I would realize my stupidity and stop thinking for them. Thanks OP

get to know her outside the confines of a club setting. Invite her to go to some social event with you or something. Once outside the club setting it shouldn't be any different than any other pick up.

alright thanks Ill try and suggest the venue change some time. If they say they have to leave should I still ask for the number? I can't help but feel odd about it. I guess I just need to get over the thought that they're leaving because of me.

so you are obviously a musician which means you have some concept of rhythm. Just move your body to the beat. A slight bouncing with a head nod and maybe a few flairs of the arms in beat can go a long way. The best I've found though is watching other people dance. Most guys have fairly simple moves so if you see something you think looks good and do able try it out. Eventually from trying out different moves you see you'll begin to have list of your own moves to go to.

She says she has a boyfriend, just dismiss it, keep the conversation going act unphased by what she said. They're so use to "oh you have a boyfriend... some BS line" just keep the conversation going. Thats not to say keep gaming on her but there's no need to just close whatever conversation you're having already. Maybe she'll have friends and you can switch targets. I find the best thing you can do is don't merit her saying she has a boyfriend, just keep talking and see where it goes.
